She chuckled softly at the beta's subconscious display, falling into step behind him which... felt like the right choice? Kiri had never actually hunt with other wolves before, so this was going to be a learning experience in a few different ways. The wings messed with her balance for one, and the weight effected her speed slightly. Which would be important with rabbits. Working with others was going to be the biggest hurdle for her though. For a good chunk of her life it had been just her and her mother -- who really.. could not hunt. Not like most wolves did anyway. "A chance to eat actual meat, I'm sure everyone would appreciate that." She noted idly.

"Maybe it'll put Misty in a better mood." Saros wasn't sure that Misty was actually capable of having a better mood, but he wasn't sure how'd they'd all manage to stay together if she didn't. He found himself wondering what Misty's life had been like before she was captured. Had she always been like this? Was there a good leader somewhere inside of her? Those were questions he had no answers to. "This is about where I smelled the rabbits. We'll have to come up with a plan to catch them." He turned to the hunters and smiled. "Any ideas?"

Asking for ideas, Saros just kept surprising her. More so than any other 'high ranked' wolf she'd met in her life. "I have... one," she stated after a moment. When she'd been young, unable to really hunt, she and her mother had gotten by on smaller prey with... "ambushes. What if two of us lay in wait, while the third chases rabbits to them? If the timing is decent enough, we should be able to catch a few."

Saros thought about it for a moment and then nodded his head. "I think that would work! Nice thinking Kiri." He turned to Hecktor to make sure his friend was onboard with the idea as well. "What about you Hecktor? What are your thoughts?"

"To be honest I'm used to getting bigger food like deer." He wondered when misty would come back. A nagging thought of her never coming back frightened him.
"I like kiris plan. My wings are not the best so I should be a lie and wait." He could smell rabbits. But something tickled his nose that of blood.
"Do you guys smell that? I think theres a hurt rabbit." He looked at them with a quick glance.

"I'm willing to be the one to chase them," she wanted too, really. Chasing them was always the fun part. Her eyes landed on Saros questioningly for only a moment before being pulled to Hecktor. "If there's a hurt rabbit, don't you think the thing that hurt it might still be after it?" She asked, "maybe we should stick to catching our own?"

"You have a point but I cant smell any other animal just rabbits" he looked upward to see the trees. A light breeze ruffled his fur. He was so happy to be in the woods.
"I think we should stick with the original plan." He said looking back down at kiri.

"I agree, let's stick to the original plan." Saros turned and trotted towards the trees. "Hecktor and I will be positioned over there, downwind so that the rabbits won't smell us. Kiri, you travel upwind and drive them towards us." He smiled at the two wolves. "Let's do this team!"

"Gotcha," Kiri grinned, winking at the two males before she turned away. "Signal me when you're both in position and we'll get this started." It had been a long time since she'd hunted like this. When she'd still had her mother. Those were some of her fondest memories. She had to give the area where the rabbits were foraging a wide berth, she couldn't give herself away before the others were in position and so was she.
