Axel looked at Alex, and then back at the packet of trinkets. He couldn't tell his son about this. He didn't want to worry anyone. "...Nothing," He said. "Nothing. It's nothing.." It took him a minute to realize he was shaking. His hackles rose, as if some threat was coming. His fur bristled, and a paranoid emotion filled his eyes.
"I'm going..." He said. "I have to... find Nikara!"
"I'm right here." Right on que, Nikara amereged from the bushes. She looked extremely tired and shaken. "I was looking for Demon..."
"Then... I'm going hunting." Axel was quick to make up another reason not to be here. Without waiting for another reply, he began to trot away, and then was quick to break into a run.

Black Heart flew in the sky. he smelt wolves and landed. He hid in the shadow incase the wolves ment harm.

Moon sat down. Her heart panged at the memory of her family. Her pups. All wiped out in seconds. She fought off the tears

Axel had only gone a short distance. He was still a bit shaken, but relieved to get away from the crowd of wolves. He needed time alone to think about what had just happened moments ago. Then he heard the sound of Vampirocilian. Relief flooded through him. He could talk to her. She would understand his situation, seeing that her father was out to get her, too.
"Vampirocilian, I-" He didn't finish that sentence. He heard the sound of another wolf, demanded to know why Vampirocilian had chosen him instead. Then Vampirocilian spoke.
Axel's heart seemed to crack. "You're only still with me because we had pups?" He emerged into view. "You only chose me because of that? I thought..." He didn't finish that sentence, either. I thought you loved me, He wanted to say, but the words would not come out of his mouth.
