Cree continued to play as Juim looked at Miuj, his snoring increasing. She gentally nudged him, trying to wake him up. He continued to snore thunderously. She looked apoligetically at Zenn, wondering what he thought of her brother.

Frost stood up slowly. "We have to get back to the pack." Krystie nodded and did one of her hover moments.

Nikara shrank back, ears flat against her head and her tail between her legs. She shivered, fearing he might attack her.
For some reason, memories were racing through her mind. There were many. One of her parents, of her old pack, but the one that was clearest was when she had found out about her real parents.

Nikara sat on the ground, refusing to look at her packmates. They were all staring at her, eyes cold and unforgiving as they always had been.
"Nikara," The alpha male said, stepping foreward. You could tell he was trying hard to keep calm. "This is the third time you've scared off prey. Do you have anything to say for yourself."
"Brother," Nikara said. "I was only chasing a butterfl-"
"ENOUGH!" The wolf practically exploded. Nikara whimpered. "You're always daydreaming, always having your head in the clouds!"
"I'm sorry!" Nikara wailed. "Gosh, you've gotten so mean ever since Mom and Dad retired to make you alpha, never once thinking about me. What makes you so superior? Why are you favored over me?"
"You're adopted, okay!" Her brother snarled. "Your parents didn't love you, so they dumped you over here for us all to take care of you! Well, I've had enough! Do us all a favor and get out!"

Nikara gasped, taking a few steps back. If words could kill, then she'd be dead right now. She wished she was. 'I'm... not wanted?' She found herself thinking as the tears began to pour from her eyes. 'Everyone I know... hates me? My brother...' Tears poured from her eyes, and she turned around and ran off into the woods as fast as she could go.

This brought fresh tears into her eyes. Nikara quaked harder, forcing herself to stay in place. Why? Why were these memories coming back? Why couldn't they just go away, and never come back?

Reaction let out a faint grunting noise. "Well, bye, then," He whispered softly, not wanting to wake Heem. They had no pack. No family. And Reaction was just fine with that.

(Wait, Reaction was with Frost the whole time? Huh? Frost was talking to Krystie and they're all alone.)
