The wolf howled with pain, the taste of blood filling his mouth. He let out a low growl, and lashed out at him again. He was joined by 3 other wolves, one who went for his skull, and the other his left leg. Nikara watched in horror, trying to squeeze her eyes shut. Fighting was something she had never truely liked. It was so... brutal.

Reaction looked at Heem, and lowered himself painfully next to him. He put his head next to the little dragon's, breathing slowly. Heem closed his eyes, smiling as he moved ever so carefully twords Reaction, burying himself into the wolf's fur.
Reaction didn't care that there were attackers. He just sat there, wanting to provide some comfort to Heem. He felt so attached to him, and responsible for the fall he had taken. Reaction tried to close his eyes, but guilt was keeping him awake.
