Dusk- she/her- Grey caracal- Shadow Elemental- Tags: Morro, Nala, Myla
Dusk smiled. "Hello! Awwwww... your daughter is so cute!" Dusk's smile brightened. "I would love to play with your toys Myla."
She turned to Nala, "Not really... I used my shadow elemental powers. But, I promise won't use them here! Unless..." She didn't want to scare this family, but she thought that little creatures would be fine. She focused on the shadows inside her, and around her, and warped them into small kittens and other cute animals. They were very small; Dusk could hold them in her paw. Then, she set them loose around Myla. They jumped around her head, one kitten even licked Myla's nose.
"Oh, it's ok!" Dusk quickly said after the invite into their house. "I have to get back to my brother pretty soon, so I'd rather not stay for long. That couch looks so comfy, I bet I wouldn't be able to get off it!

(Spirit, that's a cool idea. The only thing is that Dawn is still relatively young, about 14-16 in human years. He is a red caracal)

"Hello, Yvette. My name is Dawn" he said, following Nati's example, and ended it with a flourish. "Don't worry about being a threat to us, we're all Dragonhearted."

Luna flicked her tail in agreement, satisfied at least for the moment... then crash! A large shape fell out of the trees and into the clearing. She snorted in disdain.

"Great, another wide-eyed newcomer to drag out this discussion," she thought to herself. Luna had known for quite a while that there was another presence in the trees, but she had foolishly hoped the spying creature would not show themselves.

Her satisfied tail flicking quickly turned to lashing in annoyance. How many hours had she been here? Two? Four? Eight? She sighed with disapproval, and snuck a quick glance at Emrari to see how she was handling things.

Mao

Mao smiled reassuringly at the dark canine before explaining, "It's merely a simple remedy for stomach aches, consisting mostly of water, herbs, and toad eyes," he winked before noticing the black and white dingo had stayed outdoors.

"Oh, you can come in, it's going to start raining soon!" He motioned for to step inside. "It's ok if you stay in that other room over there," he pointed with one paw towards the second, smaller room that housed his living quarters. "But er, try not to break anything," he added cautiously.

Turning back towards Nox, he waited for the wolf to stop gagging before pushing the cup towards him.

"Drink it please, and all of it," he requested.

Morro's eyes widened at the dark illusions floating around the room.

"Wow, how interesting," he couldn't help but breathe. "That is safe though... right?" he asked with a hint of suspicion in his voice. Morro turned towards Nala to see her reaction.

Myla stared in wonder at the kittens playing around her, and wondered where they had come from. No matter, the important thing was she must play with them!

Lunging towards a smokey feline she expected to feel its warm fur against her cheek, but instead, she just... went through it?

Myla looked around confusedly and saw that the other kittens were disappearing. She frowned and sat back down, sad that her new playmates had left so soon. She glanced towards the kitchen, where appetizing scents were wafting out of the doorway.

'I'm hungry..." she began.

Nala

Nala came out of the kitchen, having successfully checked that the water had not boiled over, and turned to see Dusk staring right at her. The stare was a little unnerving, but she smiled at the grey caracal.

"Well I'm not so sure..." she began when the guest asked her about using her "Powers" but it seemed she had spoken too late. The feline began to conjure up shadowy forms reminiscent of kittens that floated around the area, looking as though they were playing. Myla yelped excitedly and tried to chase one running past her, but stopped in confusion when her head passed through it.

"Oh my, that surely is... beautiful," she added after seeing that Morro was expecting an answer from her. In truth, she was a little worried about the effects of these shadow creatures, but they seemed to be harmless, so she didn't say anything.

When the caracal began to inform her of her leaving, Nala responded, "Oh, well if you really must go, I suppose we shouldn't keep you any longer," she cast a regretful look towards the kitchen where she had been preparing a meal for them. 'It was
quite a nice, experience, meeting you," she continued. The shadows were beginning to dissapate, and Myla huffed sadly as they disappeared.

"Don't get too attached, little one," Nala thought secretly to herself. Chances were they might not see Dusk again, and she didn't want Myla to form a bond so quickly as she usually did.

"Of course it's safe! I wouldn't use it if it were harmful." Dusk replied to Morro. After seeing Myla's reaction, she wanted to create more. This time, she made little snakes as well as kittens, and made sure they were reinforced, so that they wouldn't disappear after being touched.
Dusk smiled from the compliment from Nala, "Thanks!"
Dusk was thinking about leaving, but saw the regretful Nala, who was preparing food. It smelled delicious. "Umm... did you have food to spare? I'm kinda hungry, but only if it's ok with you..." Dusk turned to Nala.

The black and minimally white dingo twitched her ears when she heard the voice calling. She glanced to the orange cat, then stood up. Nodding to him, she stepped to the room he motioned a paw to. She huffed when he implied she'd break stuff... "I don't break things." she snorted, then went in, lying close by the door.

Meanwhile, the black and minimally white wolf whimpered quietly again, huffing when told it had toad eyes in it...Shaking his head, he laid his ears back and lashed his tail. Luckily, just then Mao was distracted by Nixx a moment. He huffed when Mao turned back to him...gagging then swallowing hard. He shook his head at the cup, then sighed and dipped his muzzle in. He gagged on it a bit...


Neko- Cat (brown tabby)- Dragonhearted- female- Tags: Niko, Sombra
Neko gave a quiet purr to Niko, smiling softly a bit. She swished her tail as she moved quick, taking to the air finally. She had to move her wings off him, to fly right.

Niko- Fox dog- Normal- male- Tags: Neko, Sombra
The fox dog mix flicked his tail from his spot on Neko's back. He huffed when the wings left him...He clung on as best he could.


Keiko- Kirin- Fire- mare- Tags: adoptees/Arch Bringer
The magenta eyed mare nodded at the feline male, humming a bit. "Okay." she said with a nod, tail flicking.

Loren- Dragon x Kirin- Dragonhearted- colt- Tags: Keiko, sis/Arch
The striped gingery and white hatchling stopped when the others did. He glanced to his mother, head tilted.

The light gingery dragon hatchling asked"So, Arch Bringer, what kinda kitty are you?" She stopped when the others did.


Teranor- Pegasus- Elemental (snow, minor healing)- Genderfluid- Tags: xxx
The silver maned, tailed and winged Pegasus snorted as she watched Nati go off. By the way, Tera was going by female pronouns today, and would the next few days. She swished her tail as she walked, then began to trot.

Nati- Griffin- Dragonhearted- Genderfluid- Tags: Emrari, Dawn, Yvette, rest of rebellion
The tan and brown dragon glanced to Yvette, saying "My name is Nati." Looking to Dawn again, she made a small sound and nodded at him. "I'm glad you and your sister will like to meet Tera." she said with a nod, tail flicking a few times. "Yes, I'd like to stay, if possible." Nati said. She added on "Um, I hope it doesn't sound rude asking, but how old are you, Dawn? Is Dusk your twin?"

"It's ok, I don't mind. Umm... it's been a while since I thought about age... I think I'm about 2 years old. I know, it's kinda weird that I don't know my age, but oh well, I've been busy. No, my sister is older than me. I'm pretty sure she's around 3." Dawn replied, happy to talk. He got a nice, even though a little nervous, vibe about this Dragonhearted.

(I'm not quite sure how long caracals live in the wild/ in this world, so I'm kinda going off that they'll live for about 14-16 years)

The tan and brown dragon muttered “You’re very handsome for only two years old...” then shook her head. She wondered if he’d heard her... “Oh, that’s nice, so you’re only a year apart.” she said with a nod. She continued “I don’t know if I have any siblings...”

(whoops, there was no spot for age in the form...well, i’m actually thinking 3-4 for Nati, lol
idk how cat age works, must be less than dog age since cats live longer. i tell myself horses are 4 years to every one year, since they only live 25-30 years. some live 40, but only if you take super good care of em... rats are weird too agewise, they only live like 3 years))

Dawn blushed slightly when he heard Nati mumbling under her breath about him being handsome. Uhh... Do I say thanks or pretend it never happened...? Dawn wasn't quite sure. He decided to not press the matter. It could have become very awkward from there on if he had. "You don't know if you have any siblings? Have you gone looking for them? Has it been lonely for you?" Dawn, being kind-hearted, but with boulders for rains sometimes, hadn't realised that that could have come over as... affectionate.

"That's right, all of it," Mao encouraged. He yawned and shook his head, large ears flapping a bit. He went around to the other room to check on the black and minimally white dingo, and he realized he had never asked their names. How rude of him!

"Excuse me, sorry to bother you, but I've just realized I've never asked your names!" he informed her.

Morro watched quietly as the caracal created more shapes for Myla to play with, and noticed that they seemed... stronger, this time. The little snakes were especially beautiful. He turned around to see Nala frowning on indecision and asked,

"What are you trying to decide? I can tell you are divided,"

Myla looked up to see that her shadowy friends had returned, and chirped with excitement. This time however, she did not lunge at them, for fear they would go away, but quietly slithered after them, watching as they rose higher and then fell. She also noticed that some of them looked like her!

"Oooh, pretty snakeys," she remarked, finally giving in and poking one with her nose. This time, to her great joy, it did not disappear but only rippled in reply. She squeaked happily.

"Oh, it's all good, don't worry about it. I ate before I left." Dusk told Nala. She didn't want to be a pain while she was staying at this family's home. Dusk laughed at the sight of over excited Myla lunging around after the snakes. She couldn't help but chuckle. "Babies are so cute!"
