"Well, it's pretty far. I think I know the way, so I can lead you back whenever you like. It's pretty dangerous out here for...someone who's not used to it." She tilted her head and stood up, smelling the air to see if she could figure out which way the clan was located. She soon picked up the faraway scent of katts- yep, it was close. It would take her about a minute or two to get there with her running speed, but with this other katt's speed she didn't really know how long it would take. Depending on how long he was out here, probably. "Forgive me for asking, as it might be personal, but: how do you know him? He's been a loner for as long as I've known him, and he doesn't seem to be very friendly with clan katts."

"I just met him while hunting," Stefan lied, "At first, he didn't like me much, but he's okay with me now." Stefan followed the she-katt. "By the way, what it your name?" he asked.

Fademoon nodded. Two for looking. One for leaving. "What about you Falcon?" She asked. She noticed Dream slowly backing towards his sleeping den and nodded. He could leave.

Dreamvisitor quietly walked towards his sleeping cave, and settled down. Another nap in the middle of the day, Dream! Shame! But he was too tired to care. He closed his eyes and fell into an odd sleep, where he saw other Katts having dreams, or nightmares. This happened often.

Falcon nodded. "I vote for searching. But we shouldn't force him to come back if he runs again." She stretched her large wings, barely managing to avoid hitting her sister in the head. "I can do a fly-over and let you guys know if I see him. I will warn you though, I can't see much through the trees, and my wings are too large to fly much below the canopy. I'll be able to spot him easily if he's in a clearing or something."

Fademoon nodded. "Yes, thank you Falcon." So they were going to look for him. "I agree, however, with Rose and Dream. We should wait a bit before looking. So Falcon, maybe, like, in a day? Let him calm down a bit."


Dream continued to sleep.

"You just met him, huh?" she said, now extremely curious towards why he was looking for him. "Why are you looking for him, then? Did he say something important, do something important?" She smelled the air again, then started to run off in one direction faster than the usual katt speed. She looked for any recognizable landmarks on the way to the clan, stopping once she found a rock tower. Nodding in satisfaction, she ran back to Stefan, walking beside him again as if nothing had happened. "It's this way. Anyways, I'm Shale."

Stefan shrugged, "I just wanted to make sure he's okay. I haven't seen him in a while. Nice to met you, Shale." Stefan walked next to Shale, "My name's Stefan."

Shale was now more than a little confused, not knowing whether he had met the katt recently or if it was a long time ago. Whisper never told her anything about that...but again, she didn't know him that well. Before they realized it they were passing the rock formation that marked the halfway point, the one Shale had scouted out the way to some time ago. "Alright, here's the halfway point. We're almost there." She decided not to ask any more questions about Whisper.

"Sounds good," Stefan sighed. He stayed quiet for a bit and then asked, "Why don't loners join the clan?"

"Depends." Shale said, answering his question. "Some of us like being alone. Some like the challenge of surviving out here. Some don't think the clan will accept them, and others were kicked out of the clan for some reason or another. Some of them have always been loners, since kits. Some, like me, don't like the regulation of clan life. There's a whole bunch of reasons." She paused, taking a moment to watch a worraks on a tree. "Why do you live in the clan?"
