Emberlight groaned as Shinefire pushed her up and she snarled in pain at moving her body, as it had gotten stiff and cold in the snow. She then nudged Shinefire thankfully. "Im Emberlight.... And it wouldn't hurt for you to trust at least one human.... My human wouldn't hurt or cage you at all." she said, smiling a little as she grew to like Shinefire more, finding her eyes roaming over Shines scales.

Fatality nodded at what she was told. "She'll be okay." she said.

She shook her head. "Humans have treated us like dirt since medieval times. Why would they change now?" She said in a upset voice.

"My last encounter with their kind didn't go well", she said tapping the scar on her snout briefly, "I was lucky enough to drive them away and leave the battle with only this. Others didn't live through the endeavor including many of the dragonets that were living with my clan". It also aggravated her that the humans thought they held command over them, even when then were so small and defenseless.

She could sense Konnie's hesitance to fly through the barrier and reassured her that it was ok smiling as her dragon made a series of rumbling noises as if she was responding to what she'd said. While many humans held the belief that dragons couldn't understand their speech, she thought they could and would happily argue with anyone who said other wise. They sailed over the ground getting closer to the transfer crate which had been knocked of the transport.

The dragoness roared and decided she'd had enough of of this cage and she charged forward in an awkward stride one of her sets of wings scraping against painfully against the metal. She hissed and as soon as she was through the opening of the cage she began to beat the set of wings that wasn't balancing her body and slowly rose into the air. As soon as her secondary wings were clear of the ground she began to move them to wobbling in the air until she found her rhythm, she suddenly shot forward faster than usual for a dragon her size as she flew away in no particular direction.

Kiamora sighed as Livewire told her story. “The humans aren’t all they’re made out to be. Thy are not the ruthless killers of your story, nor are they the perfect beings they appear as within these buildings. I’ve seen both sides of the story and know what you mean, but you’re going to have to get used to them. Unless they deliberately let you out, they will find you if you get out. Trust me, I tried.” She shifted uncomfortably as she remembered one of her earlier escape attempts. It hadn’t ended well, and the humans made sure she knew not to do it again.

Esperanza sighed with relief as Emberlight managed to get back to her feet. “It’s good that you can stand,” she said to her. Although many thought that dragon’s were dumb animals, Esperanza thought otherwise. Her words to Shinefire and her following of the instructions proved her point- an unintelligent beast wouldn’t know what ‘we need your help’ means. “I think I will go now. My dragon seems happy enough, so I might take a riderless dragon on an outing. Anyone know one who would enjoy it?”

Fatality looked at Shinefire. "Probably not Shinefire, she and Emberlight are..... Bonding, I think." she said. Then smiled at the two dragons.

Emberlight whined. "But... Did you see my human treat me like dirt? She could've left ne to die, but didn't, because she cares. She's more dragon than human and someday, I hope you can see that." Ember said.

She sighs and shakes her head then turns away. How could you ever understand? You've most likely lived with humans since your hatching day. You haven't seen the cruelty that's been thrown at us. She then looks up at the sky and says "Great sky dragon, please protect my wild brethren and keep them hidden from humans."

Personality; Kind to other dragons, Leary and wary of humans, doesn't forgive easily, is very proud, thinks being "slaves" to the humans is deeming. If you the rare kind to actually gain her trust she's friendly and loyal. She also loves baby dragons.
