Austin watched as Esperanza tried her best to find where the bones were broken. He wished he could help, but there wasn't much to do besides what Esperanza was already doing. The snow surrounding Emberlight was a deep crimson. There was only do much to do besides bandage her up and try to help her recover, as it looked like it would heal by itself. "Hmm. So it seems... Emberlight could use some bandages, but otherwise, I agree with Esperanza. I, like Esperanza, am no first aid expert when it comes to dragons, so there's only so much reliable advice I can give. Try not getting her into competition or training her for any because of her injury for about a month or so. About four weeks should do it." Austin nodded in agreement and looked back down at Emberlight. "I'm going to get compress for Emberlight. Try to keep her calm and alive while I'm gone, okay? I'd also like someone to get some cleaning alcohol for the wound to make sure it doesn't get infected, or worse." Austin suggesed, running off to get bandages for Emberlight to use.

"I'll take that as a compliment," Konnie responded to Livewire. It really was a compliment to her. "I'm glad you're considering it, Live. If I can call you that, I suppose." Konnie laughed. Hearing the voice of a human, Konnie snapped her head back to look at who the voice belonged to. Though Konnie had only arrived 5 months ago, she hadn't had a rider until about a week or two ago. She wasn't quite used to it. She saw a pretty girl with red hair and green eyes. Her rider. Konnie considered her rider, Laura, as family. They weren't quite as close as family, but Konnie trusted that they would be that close eventually. Hopefully even as close as she was with her younger sister, Nora. I'm fact, throughout most of Nora's childhood, Konnie raised her. Hearing Laura's request, Konnie nodded slowly. "Have fun with each other, Kia and Livewire. I have to go fly with Laura, or my rider, as I should put it." Konnie said, approaching Laura to be readied for flying.

She frowned as she heard Kiamora's story, but it also cemented her need to get out of here as she wanted to see her family again. She, subtly, brushed Kiamora's shoulder with her wing in a gesture that was meant to be comforting but if you squinted could seem like an accident. The lightning dragon hissed in anger as a human approached lightning flashing across her scales and cracking in her mouth, but she settled down when Konnie said that it was her human.

The Irish woman paused at the lighting dragons display but visibly relaxed as her dragon Konnie seemingly agreed to go with her. She walked to the tack room and, with the help of a trusty stool, got Konnie's saddle and reigns on in a pretty orderly fashion. "Let me know if anything is to tight ok", she said quietly as she double checked and adjusted straps.

She watched the humans wary of their intentions. When they mentioned rider she gave them a offended look. As if I i'd listen to any of you. she thought. I mean who do these humans think they are? I'm not a beast of burden. She blew smoke out of her nose at the thought.

Soon, Austin was back with bandages for Emberlight. He quickly got to work. She wasn't staying still very well, and that certainly wasn't helping Austin. The leg was having a hard time moving without aching, but Emberlight was trying. She was certainly trying. Eventually, Emberlight's leg was bandaged in all of the essential places. He stepped away from Emberlight to let her have some room. Standing would be hard, but if Emberlight managed it once, she would be okay.

As Laura had approached Konnie, Livewire, and Kia, Livewire didn't seem calm. Sparks flew through the air and voltage seemed to flow through her scales. She hissed. Konnie never seemed to hiss, or at least, she had such a soft voice that no one noticed anyway. When Konnie had mentioned that Laura was her rider, Livewire seemed to calm down. That was nice. Walking alongside Laura through the corridor, Laura suited her for flying and they were soon off for flying. It would be a short trip, but Konnie was ready for her scales to feel the sensation that was the wind hitting her. The way that was worded might not seem so amazing, but it certainly felt nice, and Konnie was there to stand by that fact. Laura, with a small ladder, she was seated atop Konnie. Dragon riding was a dangerous occupation, as you could easily fall off of the back of a dragon from a fifty feet up. Of course there was safety gear for the humans that they had to equip to the dragon, but otherwise, it was easy to fall.

She clipped herself into the saddle so she didn't plummet to her death and briefly patted Konnie's side to let her know that they were good to go. They shot into the air the wind mussing up her hair and making a faint whistling sound against her dragon's scales. She took a moment to admire the light dragon as it shimmered in the sunlight before pulling gently on the reigns to test out said dragon's reaction to the rather new equipment. "We're welcoming a newish dragon today, they have been rescued from a lab but seem to have a distrust for most people so we thought it might be a good idea to welcome them with a dragon of at least similar species".

The hybrid dragon hissed at the people standing around her transfer crate, they were trying to get her out into the open but she didn't really trust any of these creatures. For a brief moment she thought she'd heard another dragon but dismissed it as a human worker tried to get closer, she snapped at the two-legs it narrowly dodging out of the way of her jaws.

Astral chases after the other dragon but quickly stopped at hearing and smelling the bag of treats, she swiftly turned her head to the human and ran at her.

Lily remains in her curled up, sleeping position when a worker opens up the enclosure to put in food. She waits until they've left before finally uncurling and stretching. 'Finally. Looks like I'm not needed bad enough that they had to "wake" me up.'

The dragon's long tail flicks back and forth as she walks to her food. She eats it after she's determined that it wasn't somehow drugged with some sort of medicine through her sense of smell. 'I can't believe that the Two-Legs expect us to consume those foul-tasting pills.'

Once Lily finished her meal, she wanders back over to her resting spot to lay down and doze while the meat digests.

Serena finished up changing the babies bedding and goes to stand up fully but pauses when she notices two of the resident dragons get close to her, wanting their treats.

"I only give treats to good baby dragons who eat their food first," the blonde says, motioning over to the food she put down earlier. "Don't want to spoil your meal now do you?" Serena looks down sternly at the two with her hands on her hips.

Konnie nodded and soon lifted her fluorescent wings. Konnie and Laura were soon in the sky, and Konnie focused on what was ahead of her instead of relaxing in the wind. Soon, she would be able to focus less, but she had to navigate her way out of the Stable grounds first. As far as Konnie could tell, the barrier was turned off and she wouldn't get shocked by it, but she need to check before she flew through the voltage that was the barrier. It only effected dragons, so Konnie wove said that Laura would be fine if she got shocked, but Konnie would fall to the ground with Laura on her back if she was in fact effected by the barrier. When the two of them reached the barrier, Konnie stopped, hovering in the air as she looked for signs of the barrier was on. It wasn't, or at least, it wasn't as far as Konnie could tell. Flying through the voltage with ease, Konnie soared through the air, Laura on her back. Her scales shimmered as the sun shone down on them. "Really? I've already seen a new dragon today, but I didn't know that there was one from a lab here. And I don't see why they don't trust humans, but I'll try welcoming them to the Stables instead of a human, if you'd like me to," Konnie said, completely aware that humans couldn't understand her. For Laura's sake, Konnie simply nodded and flew on.

Kiamora blinker in appreciation of Livewire’s gentle touch. She’d got a little emotional when thinking of her family, and was glad to know that Livewire was by her side. When Konnie left, Kia turned towards her. “Why don’t you like the humans?” She asked, tilting her head questioningly. “You’ll get a rider eventually, so you may as well get a bit more used to them then your are now. No-one would want you suddenly bursting into sparks when a human is having a tour around the stables.”

Esperanza/Dragon: Kiamora/Tags: Austin, Emberlight, Shinefire, Fatality

Esperanza watched as Austin put the bandages on Emberlight. She nodded in approval as he stood up and backed away. “Now, the first thing we need to do is get Ember back on her feet. If she lies down for the entire time she’s injured for, she’d be very hard to care for and her legs would be weak after four weeks or so off her feet. Her recovery time may also be quicker if she does regular but gentle exercise. We’ll need the help of a dragon in order to get her up, though,” she said, aiming the last part at Shinefire. “We won’t be able to do it without you.”
