Shandar nodded once the pack alpha said he was coming with her- he was just allowed into the territory, he didn't want anything bad to happen between him and the pack. The fact that one of them had...lifted away after just smelling it made him fearful. "It wasn't that bad when I came around here." he said, nervous. "Something's getting worse."

Bluebolt heard thunder rumble in the distance. Ivy would figure it out, she though unhappily. Feeling frustrated, Bluebolt ran after BrightFire. Disobeying orders. Again, one might say. But Ivy didn't need help. Wait, what was that that Ivy once told her? Bluebolt racked her brain. What had she said? Something about twolegs. The only natural thing they make, that is the most dangerous. Fire. But what about it? Yeah, twolegs control the most deadly thing in the world, but why had that popped into her head? Sighing, she kept running. Running. Pooh. This was walking. But, she was following the leader, not leading the leader, so she would stay behind.

Her ears rose "Oh Ivy are you alright?" she walked over sniffing her gently making sure she's ok.

She stopped and looked at BlueBolt, her pupils went thin she sighed and kept walking. She halted as they were now at the outer wall of the humans territory "..." she saw a pipe and sniffed it, there was green liquid dripping from it "...The foam this makes looks like the foam on those hunters mouths.."

Shandar looked at the foam from the pipe, slightly nervous as to what would happen if he got closer to it or if it infected other water sources. "It's probably the same foam." he said, taking a step closer- but not too close, since he didn't know what it would do. "Wait, what's that you say about hunters?"

Ivy nodded. "I'm fine. Do... do you know about spreading of poison? If, like, a rabbit got poisoned, then a wolf ate it, would both die?" She dreaded the answer. If it could spread like that... animals wouldn't understand. They would drink the water, wolves would eat the animals, and, well, death would be on the wind.


Bluebolt stood unhappily. Why had Ivy passed out but not them? She was sure her sister would know. "How are we going to stop it?" She finally said. All wolves knew that all the rivers were connected one way or another. Soon there would be no good water. Fire won't. Electricity won't. What about the other one? Shandar? What was his power? What they needed was someone to plug the drain, but who knew how to do that?

She stood there for a moment thinking "I rememeber when I was younger that there was an outbreak of Green Spots and it all started from prey and us canines eating said prey, but wouldn't the prey be in the same state as the hunters?" she looked down at the three canines laying there twitching. "We're bigger and it'd take longer to take over our bodies....our prey is small..it'd be quick to take over"

BrightFire lit her paws on fire, she walked closer and made the fire spread over to the leaking pipe. The foam went alight "!!!" she jumped back shocked the foam began to grow a little then went out "....What.. is this?"

Ivy nodded. "Thank you, Greenleaf." But she was thinking. Smaller the prey, the less they drink. Wolves drink more because they're bigger. Therefor, they needed to stop it, wherever it was flowing from.


Bluebolt stared at it. What was this? She wasn't going to use lightning. It would probably set the forest alight. Plants? "What should we do? Shandar, could you stop it?" She didn't really think so.

Shandar had no idea what the foam was, and surely didn't want to use his magic on it. It may not hurt to try, however- and he didn't have something overly destructive like lightning or fire. "Here goes." he said, using dark magic on it to take its life force- if it even had one. It didn't seem to like the magic, sliding away from it- or getting smaller where it hit.

BrightFire looked at Shandar with awe "try it again!" she pointed to a larger amount of the foam.

Shandar nodded quietly, hoping that trying it on a larger amount wouldn't do anything bad. To his relief it seemed to do the same thing as before- the foam tried to get away, or it folded into itself and collapsed into nothing. "It's working." he said with surprise, not expecting his magic to work as a benefit.
