Shandar pinned his ears to his head, not knowing why everyone started howling. Was this some kind of pack thing, or did it have some other strange meaning? "What's going on?" he asked, raising his voice in the hope that someone would hear him over the noise of the howling.

Alexander nor Klonda could get any rest, as their eyes became bloodshot. Klonda yelled, saying, "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON ALEXANDER?!" Alexander shook his head, yelling back to his brother, "I DON'T KNOW!" Klonda stuffed leaves into his ears, trying to make the noise not reach his ears. Alexander was on the brink of tears. They both wanted rest.

She stopped and looked down "this is what we do before an important meeting everyone in the packs camp howls with the alpha to call the canines in our territory not in the pack once the noise gets to a certain level that's how we know everyone is here"

BrightFire looked up and began to howl, this howl was a howl that all pack members partakes in if they were in the packs camp. The more canines that howled the louder it'd be for the wondering canines to come back for a pack meeting.

Oskar grumbled and stopped eating and looked up and joined into the howl.

Bluebolt sat up, hearing the howl. Taking a deep breath (and thinking how hungry she was going to be) she zapped back, to the edge of camp, and bolted towards Bluebolt and Ivy. She too howled.


Ivy howled as well, though her's was quiet. The leader would stop, then others would.

Reyu had reached to a spot near the others and he too had begun howling, he pointed his snout to the sky and closed his eyes, the loud sound had seemed it would fill the forest for the next couple of moments alerting all pack members.... “and enemies” Reyu thought

Silvia jolted awake in reaction to the howling. Must be the pack, she thought to herself as she laid back down. She gave a futile effort to fall asleep but when she couldn't, she simply rolled on her back and looked up to the sky in order to see the stars through the tree's leaves.

Oskar stopped howling and looked up to his alpha.

Klonda sleepily looked at the sky, trying to figure out why someone would howl that loud. Alexander was crying into some leaves, as he is upset about not getting any rest. Klonda looked at his brother with sympathetic eyes, and asked, "Alexander, are you gonna be okay when the sun rises?" Alexander shook his head and responded shakily with, "N-no.. the howling.. it was too loud..." Alexander knows that his train of thought would be governed by his sleepless mind, as he closed his eyes and tried to get as much sleep as possible before sunrise.

"So, it's a summoning call." he said. Once the howl ended he decided to follow her, assuming that since he lived there for now he was entitled to join the meeting just as much as any of them. He sat down someways away from her, looking at the canines nearby as if daring them to try anything. He was a little confused by the 'catch your own prey' line: any canine could catch prey if they were healthy and not a tiny pup? Why did it need to be specified?
