Introduction
Her breaths came out in broken sequences, blood dripped from her side, a stinging pain ran along her shoulder blade. In her mind though, she felt nothing but sheer determination as she stared down her adversary. She let out a snarl and lunged once more, letting her snarl turn into a full blown growl as she hit the wolf and tumbled down a steep incline, and into a stream. The icy water stung as it seeping into her wounds, she couldn't stop though, she had convinced the pack to take this wolf in despite the elders warnings against him. She couldn't bear the thought of the pack suffering from her error of judgment. The wolf she had attacked rose to his feet, shaking off the freezing water, he snarled in her direction but his eyes were no longer on her. He started to run past her. Secret rose to chase after him, but the edges of her vision started to be tainted with black, she stumbled forward...if she could only make it to him one last time...

Chaos woke up, halfway in the icy stream she collapsed in. She ran to find her pack, the only sound she could hear was that of her own rapidly beating heart. She let out a desperate howl in search of her pack mates, in the same moment she smelled blood. She followed the scent to the scene of her nightmares, her pack mates, dead, all but one. He was barely breathing, if you could call it that, more like he was making shallow gasps as his limbs twitched in a memory of running. His eyes stared into an unseen land, blood pooled out of the side of his mouth on the ground under his muzzle. Beside him was the un-moving body of the wolf Chaos had fought with. He had killed her whole pack..and the only one who wasn't dead was spending his last moments in utter agony. Chaos couldn't bear to watch him slowly lose himself this way, she took a deep breath and clamped her razor sharp teeth around his throat. She howled in agony, and took off running through the mountains...she would find a new territory and start a new pack. She would make sure they would never suffer the same fate as this one, she would find her redemption
