The buildings stand in defiance of the people who fell. Given enough time even the
smooth grey will give way to a jungle of green and this โ€œancientโ€ civilization will lay
ruined for future generations to discover and perhaps piece together how they lived.
Large buildings are infested with nature, the packs' den is infact in an abandoned bank
inside ivy grows, wild.....free. The drain pipes are none existant forming a lake in the
city square, mutated prey run rabid forming and changing herds. The roleplay will
start in the morning, spring is on the verge and the mutations have no sgin of stopping.

The air felt refrigerated, that same coolness combined with moisture Voa always felt when her four tails curled on the city roads. Though it was late enough for bright light, it was early enough for the streets to be almost deserted - perfection. Apparently 6:22 am was the sweet-spot. She sits there, her face relaxed and unmoving. The thoughts on the mutations the prey had worried her. If they were to mutate too drastically it would be an impossibility to hunt and her pack would starve. So luckily their mutations helped with the hunt, but hers only seemed to aid her in wolf combat, so she sat out most hunts. She had a lead hunter after all. Flexing her lightly toned muscles the female stood, moving into the abandoned bank that was their camp, inside the old bank volts were now their dens. Very spacious and practical. But she didn't sleep in her den. Without a mate, she didn't feel the need to. Watching, as wolves began to awake the female, waited patiently for them.

      xxxxxxxWhen the first sunrays of the day beamed upon the city and, when the blues and yellows melt into grey under clouds, that's when the warren empties and the rabbits are out to forage and play. They move slowly, lolloping in their ungainly way, grazing as they go. At the slightest noise, they're up on their hind legs, black eyes staring in more directions than he being a predator animal could. He lowered himself behind an abandoned dumpster slowly moving within range. The mutated rabbit's ears swivelled drastically, moving this way and that. Luckily Ze had colour changing fur, he used his mutation to blend into the tarmac. Moving just inches away. Sprinting with an unruly speed the rabbit tried to flee but it was too late Zaeso was in range and pounced. His teeth sinking into its nape, warm blood flowed in his throat as he carried the rabbit back to camp. Reaching camp he passed his alpha bowing in respect as he passed, he lay in the hunter's den - one of the bank's volts - and lay chewing contently through the rabbit's pelt.

Confusion blossomed in his cold heart and he knew that sooner or later he would need to wake up. To stare reality in the face. But for now he lay down his heavy head, and retreated into wallowing blackness.

Riska relaxed in the camp for the moment, having been awake early. She was going to have to embark on a hunt later; the pack was in need of food, and she was lead hunter after all. But for now she was content just laying there in the sun, trying to forget her troubles for a while. The prey was getting harder to catch...but she and the other hunters were managing, and that was the important part. But if they mutated any further...no, just relax for now. She would deal with the issues with food later, and eventually they would get solved. Riska usually spent too long looking at the dark side of a sitaution, and every so often she needed to quiet these thoughts. Looking at the rising sun, she stood up and went to go do something productive.

      For such a well muscled wolf, Artemis should have been more than happy to start the den, however as the sun started sending glares of bright colored beams into the den, large paws were quick to cover the brutes bright amber eyes, as to avoid the burning lights the sun emits at this time of day, he had always preferred sunsets, darker more purple, blue glow the sky emitted at that time was more preferable and tolerable than the brighter yellows and blues of morning.
