Gus gus woke up to a normal day in the plains. He had fallen asleep in between some rocks, not visible to other dinosaurs. He opened his eyes and slowly closed them again, "uhhhh.." Gus Gus let out an annoyed shrill. He pushed himself out of the cold wedge of rocks. As Gus Gus stood up a rush of heat covered his body. He yawned, shaking his tail out. He took a step forward into the spiky, yet soft grass of the plains. Gus Gus heard a purr of an unknown monster enter the plain. Gus Gus looked over but couldn't seem to find the monster making the unknown noise, it was just green grass and some small rocks and flowers.

Kivo looked over to Po, he was right by her side, focused on the rustling small bush. She again directed her attention to the small bush, it had stopped rustling. She stayed completely silent and still, until a small (compared to kivo) bird popped out of the bush with a bug in it's mouth. Kivo opened her jaws and plunged at the bird, her talons gripped the bird as she crunched down on the neck. She lifted it up and let out a muffled happy chirp to Po, her tail waving back and forth in excitement.

Po watched as kivo lifted up the small bird in her jaws. Po smiled, his large canines showed as his lips lifted up his mouth. He turned around sharply and started to walk forward ducking under long branches, Po looked back and saw Kivo didn't have to duck as she was quite tall and strong so the branches just brushed past her. Po quickened up his pace as he was anxious to have a meal, his mouth watering for a taste.

Taylor drove the large jeep, following Ema Mahi'ai. The jeeps let out a loud rumble. "hopefully it won't scare the dinosaurs." She said to herself, she was very eager to see some real dinosaurs, only going off the ones she saw in books, which for all she knew could be very off or spot on. She was also hoping the larger carnivorous dinosaurs didn't want the new taste of human.

birdie flared her nostrils impatiently. another one? she scowled, stepping out- it was
time to kill this strange new dinosaur. suddenly stepping out of the shrubbery. the greenish-blue
bioluminescent bacteria that coated her feathers lit up her face eerily, gigantic eyes like amber
streetlights fixed on the vehicle as she opened her jaws in an echoing chuckle-like call. the
meaning was obvious- stay back.

Taika was in the middle of hunting down some smaller creatures when she heard something strange. Letting the creature run off, she went as close as she dared to where she heard the noises, looking for a safe point to watch from. There were some strange wheeled things...they were coming closer at unexpected speeds, and she wondered what she should do. She decided to run back to the edge of her territory and see if they would dare come in, and if they did, she would take care of them. But for now, she wanted nothing to do with them.

Taylor stopped her jeep as she saw a large blue colorful leg stop her in her path. She looked up to see intimidating amber eyes attached to a large blue t rex staring straight at her. Taylor covered her mouth, her blue sunglasses falling off her head. She reached for the emergency flip phone, she opened it as the trex let out a chuckle like call. As the dinosaur was distracted Taylor, being quite short and skinny, hid in the compartment wear you were supposed to put your feet, out of view from the tyrannosaurus rex. "pick up, pick up..." Taylor whispered as the phone dialed.

Gus Gus walked slowly across the plain. Until he heard the call of tyrannosaurus rex, It was a deafening chuckle call. Gus Gus quickened his pace into a run, he ran towards the noise wondering what was going on. Usually, the t-rex never minded Gus Gus, flicking him off like a little bug. But, raptors is what he feared, they preyed on his siblings and once they tried to hunt him. So, he hid behind the tiny rocks as he ran.
Gus Gus got to the scene, the tyrannosaurus rex looming over a large, boxy like thing. Gus Gus glanced at it, then hid behind a bush, he could see somewhat, but not much. It looked like the large feathered blue t-rex was saying to "get away" but the box like figure just stayed there, moving unblinkingly.

Kivo dropped the feathered bird on the cold cave floor. Kivo clicked her tongue, letting Po feast first. She tilted her head, watching Po ravenously eat the small bird. She let out a small shrill to let Po know it was her turn. Po didn't stop. She roared at him angrily and pushed him out of the way. She dropped her head down and chomped down on the bird, licking up every last bit, leaving the bones. Kivo picked her head up to look at Po. A loud chuckling roar pierced her ears as she was about to kick the bones at Po

Po slammed into the wall as Kivo harshly pushed him. Po let out a roar and walked away from the wall, watching Kivo quickly chomp down on the delicious bird creature. Po let out a growl, wanting more food. Kivo easily got her way as she's bigger. Kivo looked up at him, until a loud chuckle echoed in the cave walls. Po turned his head towards the noise, seeing trees and nothing else. Po looked towards Kivo, fear in his eyes. This piercing call was the call of a tyrannosaurus rex, and they sure liked to eat raptors. Po ran behind Kivo quickly and backed up farther in the dark cave.

she scowled- this strange wheeled beast obviously wasn't going to move any time soon.
birdie parted her gigantic jaws, crunching down on the top of the van. small shards of glass rained
down as she spat out the rubble of the jeep roof in a disgusted fury- what strange animal was this?
not even edible, leaving a cold taste in her mouth; birdie's couldn't think of what it
was. there was a pause for a few seconds as she stared into space, tiny brain working until she
came to a conclusion- this was not an animal, but rather some sort of large rock that had rolled
down the path. cancelling her attack, she aimed a forceful kick at the vehicle before stomping
off into the distance.

tera sat in the back of a jeep as it made its way into a massive redwood forest. she looked out at the trees in awe, marveling in how gigantic each individual plant had grown. too soon were they interrupted, as a massive tyrannosaurus pushed through the trees and growled at the jeep in front of hers. she yelled as the dinosaur leapt towards the jeep, growling and biting down on the automobile ahead of them. she yelled at ema to do something, though nothing could really be done. she couldn't help but feel sympathy for the beast as it walked away, biting down on a vehicle would probably have left many cuts in the creatures mouth.

the dusty spinosaurous had barely risen, when a horribly loud roar sounded somewhere in the redwoods. snapper growled, snapping his teeth together anxiously, and decided to make his way towards the noise. another spino perhaps? he quickly reached the edge of the woods, and his claws thudded menacingly against the dry forest floor as he continued along. he eventually came to a clearing, becoming instantly more alert at the rank scent of a tyrannosaurus. he growled, lowering his head and looking around into the woods.

ghost darted along the damp jungle floor, enjoying stretching her legs after a nights rest. she stopped quickly, staring into the river for signs of fish. spotting a small school, she waited by the water for them to get closer, eventually snapping her jaws and grabbing a nice big piranha variant.

tires crunched raucously as ema slammed the brakes, her eyes widening as a teal-tinted, muscular leg blocked the jeep in front of them. before anyone could react, the tyrannosaurus chomped down onto the vehicle, glass shards flying like droplets of water. a sick dread sunk into the lieutenant's gut; it was too early for anyone to die!

as her mind was racing to figure out what to do, the phone connected to the truck began ringing, the light beside it flashing red with urgency.

she fumbled to pick it up, watching as the great beast stared at the jeep, perplexed. blood dribbled from its maw; its gums were probably riddled with glass. "dr. richardson," she began, "whatever you do, don't get out of the vehicle. you're safer in there than running away." she looked over at the biologist beside her, sweat appearing on her brow. "get the gun from the back seat," she ordered, staying on the phone with dr. taylor. "i might have to shoot this thing."

inwardly, she winced. the last thing she wanted to do was kill an animal so valuable -- but if it was going to try and eat their medic, she had no choice.

as if on cue, the tyrannosaurus kicked the car and began stomping away, leaving feathers and blood in its wake. ema let out a long sigh, readjusting the phone against her ear. "you okay?" she asked, watching as the dinosaur disappeared into the trees. "that was one hell of a big bird. either of you know anything about it?"

a tyrannosaur's call, followed by a terrible, screeching cacophony interrupted the ostrich-like dinosaur's drink. his head shot up instantaneously, the hadrosaurs around him following suit, all staring into the nearby forest. they listened, intent, their round eyes scanning the treeline.

silence. the world was entirely peaceful.

slowly, one by one, the hadrosaurs lowered their heads back to the ground, taking cautious nibbles of plain grasses. before long, the rigid, frightened static died down; everything was back to normal, the animals forgetting that anything had happened.

the struthiomimus was curious, however. it was his downfall, and, one day, would be his death. but he'd never heard such a sound before, and it would do him well to know exactly what had made it.

there was never a bad time to assess a new creature, or to know what was happening around his home. so, he jogged off to the outskirts of the redwoods, the foliage that grew underneath the huge trees just beginning to brush his feet. he listened and watched, hesitant to step foot into the woods.

Taika didn't hear anything else from the redwoods, but she stepped closer to the edge of the redwoods to see if she could tell what was going on in there. Something was going on in there, and she was reluctant to miss it. She did need to protect her territory...but that could wait; she needed to know if there was a bigger threat coming up.

She went a little closer towards the edge of the woods, hesitating.

Silence fell over the jungle, making Po feel safe once again. He walked up towards the exit of the cave and peeked out. Once again, still trees, bushes, and more leafy greens. He looked at Kivo who had started to walk outside of the cave. Po didn't really want to go towards the loud roar, but he followed sharply behind Kivo, looking around him nervously. He let out an anxious chitter as a bird flew past him.

Kivo smiled as she heard a chitter from Po. He was always to scared and frightful after events, which was somewhat understandable. A quiet chirp of an unknown creature whispered into her ear. Kivo stopped dead in her tracks. She sniffed the air, the smell was overpowering and unfamiliar, she snorted in disgust. She clicked her tongue to Po, telling him to walk to her side. Po followed her order obediently, wondering what had happened. Kivo sniffed the air again, the overpowering scent of a new creature filled her nostrils, possibly one in distress.

Taylor held her breath as the car flew back a couple meters. Hearing Em's voice calmed her down and she replied, "Yeah.. I'm fine, big bird kicked the seat next to me." She glanced over to the passenger's seat, a large indent going through the car and the seat, Taylor thought how she could've died if she was in that seat. Wondering if the rex had past,Taylor got up slowly and peered through the window. Her eyes landing on a small green dinosaur a few feet in front of the jeep. "huh.. there's a compy outside the jeep." It let out a small chirp, and tilted its head. She smiled, watching the cute little innocent guy.

Gus Gus followed the creature's gaze. The eyes of the pale creature weren't menacing, but not welcoming either. He chirped, hoping to get the attention of the creature. The creature's lips curled in response, not showing it's teeth, but scary enough for Gus Gus. He quietly ran back into the bushes, away from sight wondering what the heck just happened. Had he just communicated with a new creature? The creature didn't seem to want to eat him, but rather just showed interest in him. He relaxed, could these be nice dinosaurs?

birdie arrived at the local waterhole, still pondering the strange creature- you have to
think for a long time if you have a brain like a tyrannosaur's. she sneezed blood quietly as she
came to a conclusion- it was obviously some new type of ankylosaurid. nothing else would hurt
if you bit it. she shook the teal algae from her feathers, spreading a pretty greenish glow across
the water. the pain in her gums was numbing her thinking so birdie plodded wearily to her nest,
a mess of branches, fallen saplings, and feathers, all covered in glowing bacteria. she was
keeping it as pretty as a tyrannosaur could, eyecatching in case a potential mate walked past.
squatting and puffing out her feathers, she fell asleep- one of the only times when she wasn't
a danger.
