Mona and her adopted son will be staying at Glittering Haven, as she thinks it would be a great learning experience for him to learn about hotel etiquette

Mona is bossy, strict at times and slightly vain but she has a soft spot for Fifty Cent, her son and she secretly likes his mindless fun.

Mona adopted Fifty Cent because she had been at the pound years ago. She was also looking for someone to pass on her teachings of how to be rich and fabulous. Fifty Cent was chosen because he reminded her of when she was a kitten. He is supposed to be her apprentice but she also enjoys learning how to have fun with the help of Fifty Cent ,so at the end of the day they learn from each other. Mona has only one insecurity about her looks sometimes: she is allergic to blueberries; when she is close to them she gets an uncontrollably runny nose and constantly sneezes.

I sighed before coming in. Wow, this place is so big! I was looking in awe and curiosity around. Oh well, I need to speed up! I walked towards the receptionist's Table: "Hello, I'm StormCloud. I wanted to reserve a spot, so now I'm here and need a little guide through this hotel." I smiled sheepishly, still looking around.

All was quiet in the lobby until a black and white dog burst open the doors and ran in with his things. Domino was late, and he knew for a fact the manager would not appreciate this tardiness. But one thing he saw was a grey and white dog that was looking around and waiting for the receptionist. He didn't see anyone but he didn't care. All he cared about right now was getting to the Smoothie Pavilion to check in. He sped out the back doors that led to the warm outdoors, and he rushed to the stand before clocking in to see his co-worker there. "Oh, quit! I'm here now, everything's fine." he snapped, panting as he leaned against the counter. Looking around, he thankfully didn't see any customers around the pool area yet. The pools were open 24 hours, but his pavilion wasn't, thank goodness. Placing a paw on his forehead, he dropped his bag and grumbled to himself tiredly. "I need a coffee." Harley offered to bring him one, but he quickly cut her off. "No-- no. Don't bother the poor guy. He's probably not even here yet." With that, he took a deep breath and took advantage of the early morning slowness by taking out a bottle of water and sitting on the stool with hind legs on the counter. He was now back in business.

Harley was already at the pavilion to wait for her boss, only to sit around for 10 minutes. Thankfully the only witness to his mistake was her and her alone. As her boss rushed to clock in, she couldn't help but giggle at him. "I was really starting to miss you!" she said in a joking tone only to be shut down. She tilted her head at what she thought was a request. "Oh? Well sure, I can see if Shamrock will serve you--" She simply shrugged at his answer and decided to make sure everything was in order in the hotel itself. It was clear they'd have a bit of free time since it was early morning. Walking in and looking around at the grandiose interior, listening to the sounds of others slowly waking up. Walking into the lobby gave her a bit of a surprise. A grey and white dog, seemingly waiting around for the receptionist stood with wonder on her face. She smiled and ran excitedly behind the desk to fill in for the receptionist while they were gone. She knew how to deal with clients as well, and it was every employee's job to fill in wherever they can for convenience. It was hard work, but things ran smoothly that way. Plus, more pay! "Hello there! I'll be filling in for the receptionist for you today! And... StormCloud, hmm?" She fumbled through the drawer behind the counter and brought out a pad and a pen, along with a key card. After scribbling down her name and room number, she looked up with a happy smile. "Alright, sweetheart! Here's your room, 35b, remember that. Pay now or later, your call." She handed the dog the key and wagged her tail at her request. "A tour!? Of course, of course! You'll love it here ma'am, I promise you! But perhaps I'll lead you to your room first?"

The big dragon walked carefully through the halls that she took up a majority of the space in, and made it down the stairs until she made it to the first floor. She was still a bit groggy, but she was more than ready to energize herself with her first morning of breakfast. Snowcone had already checked in when it was still dark before resting for a few hours in her room. Walking through the bottom floor main hall, she finally found the room for breakfast. The fancy cafeteria was large enough to make her feel less big, and gave her a bit of amazement. This hotel must've had more than enough money on their hands to make all this look presentable. Standing idle in a bit of wonder, she looked like an idiot as she was entranced for a brief moment.

So this was the place I was going to stay at! According to aunt Mona, it was to teach me hotel etiquette. I stared around the room; Mona allways told me it was polite to say hi to everyone. Other than the hotel Receptionist the place was empty. Hello! How's your day going! I said loudly to the receptionist, so loud that it was echoing all over the room.

Glittering Haven certainly lived up to it's name: it was huge and sparkly,there were so many different decorative jugs and vases, and a huge fountain in the middle of it. I walked down to the receptionist desk with Fifty Cent and expecting to pay for the best room they had.
