welcome to the gleymt sea,
gleymt being icelandic
for "forgotten".
for whatever reason,
this mysterious expanse
of water has always
existed, but has never
been officially discovered.
all human voyagers
who have happened
upon this extraordinary
eighth sea have disappeared
within its depths. the sea
creatures who inhabit
the gleymt live a quiet
and mystical life,
away from the human
eye. they may appear
as regular aquatics, but
each hold a supernatural
ability that enables them
to survive in the deep.

gleymt

beautiful. mysterious. awe-inspiring. and sinister to those who are unfamiliar with its secrets. the gleymt sea and the creatures who live below are a force to be reckoned with. these animals are separated by a hierarchy of power; for as long as any of them can remember, the gleymt has been ruled by a king and a queen, the two most strong and influential of all the kingdom. with this duo in power, no intruder dare mess with the sacred order of life in the forgotten sea. but recently the king and the queen have grown apart and wish to rule the gleymt in different ways. the king is content to live within the confines of the sea, and to keep all of its unusual and unique citizens within these borders. the queen, on the other hand, desires to spread out, and to possibly conquer and dominate the residents of the other seas, believing that the gleymt kingdom should no longer be hidden because of their abilities. and yet another third side has emerged, in the form of a rebellion, creatures who believe they should take their destiny into their own hands and not leave the fate of the gleymt to either the king or the queen. time is ticking, secrets are being revealed, and the power struggle continues at full speed. which side are you on? and how will this affect your beloved home?

and strives to live a quiet and undisruptive life.

of life, and those who rise against her
