introduction

the coyotes of StormCloud pack used to live in peace, that was when they were normal, but on the cursed night of the red moon eclipse that all changed, they coyotes were blessed with powers and some even with wings and immortality but although it was meant to be a gift it made kin turn on kin and the pack split into two, only the strongest survived this dark time and some even became lone coyotes it was that bad, the sky stained red with the blood of former packmates, the fighting was horrific, many didn’t survive the dark times but now the war is over but the packs are still divided

Ranks

alpha Male: the best at fighting he is the offspring of the previous alphas and is the leader of the whole pack, he is most respected and his word is law, there is only one of him and he must always be mated only to the alpha female

alpha female: superior to all except the male alpha, she stays in camp most of the time seeing everything runs smoothly, she must always be respected and is always first to eat



Beta Male: the third in command, will often be promoted to alpha male once the current one dies or is killed, often the bravest of all except alpha, highly respected.


Beta female: normally a coyote who has earned favour in the pack, mated to beta Male and highly respected, fourth in command



Lead guard: the head of all guards, respected and brave, usually earned the position by working hard or challenging the previous lead guard and winning the battle.


Lead hunter: respected and best at hunting, usually got position by challenging the previous lead hunter and won


Lead scout: a master at tracking down danger, they must be clever and cunning and is the only one of the lead ranks you can’t get by challenging, it is only by pure hard work and dedication you get this far.


Healer: there can be up to 5 healers, they, as their name suggests, heal other coyotes, medium level of respect.


Guards: they are unlimited and guard the camp, they take turns at night and day shifts and answer to the lead guard if they have any problems.


Hunters: they hunt for the pack and go on hunts led by the lead hunter.


Scouts: getting into the lower ranks now, scouts patrol terriotory borders and report their finds to the lead scout.


Pup sitters: looks after pups can be up to 10 of these in a pack.


Pups: name says it all.


Omegas: the lowest of the pack, they spend their days collecting bedding, they normally have some kind of disability or did something very wrong

3. They are coyotes, they have to be straight, sorry but real coyotes mate with the opposite gender

Packs

southern mountain pack: these coyotes live in the Rocky Mountains and are adapted to cruel weathers, they come mainly in browns and greys to blend in with the landscape, they are tough to the bone and prey is scarce they only eat deer and wild sheep but if they are driven to it in cold season they may have to eat rats but they try not to as rats sometimes carry disease.

west shores pack: they live in a rocky cove, it is rather sandy and they are mostly cream, white, brown, grey or black, they may have a rare ginger though but the paler ones are normally best suited due to the sand, their prey is always fish or sea birds, they are normally thinner than their mountain counterparts due to having to be quick to hunt, to be a scout in this pack is dangerous though as the border with a wild dog pack is a steep drop into the sea below and many have been lost to its waves.

Open for posting, also reservations for high ranks last about roughly 24 hours but it’s prefered if you make your form emediately without reservation, the only things you can reserve is lead scout and above, any coyote under one year is a pup so don’t be saying something like your 7 month old coyote is the beta Male of the mountain pack, and until they are two years they ae technically an apprentice of the rank the beta female chooses they do ((the beta female chooses their rank once they reach a year))
