Hell has officially made it to earth. Demons are rampant in the city. Thousands of lives have been taken by the demons and made to join the demon army. As they hide in plain sight among the mortals, the mortals fear for their safety more and more and pray for assistance from God. God has heard his children's prayer, and he send his army of angels to defeat the demons. Now the two are at a war and the mortals are caught in the middle, only able to pray that their lives aren't taken in the process. The angel army is strong, but even they struggle when fighting against the millions of demons that plague the city. The demons are gaining more and more members of their army and are becoming more and more powerful. God needs the strongest angels out there to defeat them.

Q.) What powers can angels and demons have? Can mortals have powers?
A.) There is a link to a website that lists the different kinds of powers that angels and demons are able to possess on the posts below. And no, mortals may not have powers. Their free will is what separates them from demons and angels.
Q.) Can mortals become angels or demons?
A.) Yes! Mortals may become angels upon death (though there may be some exceptions), whereas mortals must become demons upon selling their soul to the devil and vowing to serve him.
Q.) Can angels become demons/ Can demons become angels?
A.) Yep! Due to a lack of free will, some angels may become bitter and dislike having to obey God. Some demons may convince angels to convert to demonhood for more power and freedom. And some demons may not like their lifestyle and prefer to become an angel.
Q.) What if an angel goes against god/ What if a demon goes against Satan?
A.1) Angels will face different punishments depending on the severity. Most often, angels will be stripped of their angelhood and forced to become a mortal (typically they are reborn, but this isn't always the case) and they will lose any memories of being an angel.
A.2) Demons who go against Satan will often face consequences. Satan would either strip them of their demonhood or weaken their powers.
Q.) What if you aren't religious
A.) I myself am not religious, and you do not have to follow the Christian beliefs if you wish to participate.

The most hellbent creatures on earth, The Demon Army serves Lucifer. They are extremely powerful, capable of numerous demonic powers that allow them to take the souls of mortals to serve in the demon army Demons sell their soul to the devil in exchange for ultimate power. In exchange, they have to kill mortals and serve the devil for all of eternity.

⛥ Weaknesses: Holy objects (holy water, crosses, etc.); Demons cannot use many of their powers while they are in their mortal form, they often have to reveal their true form before using their demonic abilities; demons are very inpatient and are often blinded by wrath; demons have no free will

Demons follow a hierarchical system, with lower ranked demons being the weakest and following the higher ranked demons, the most strongest.

⛥ Generals (0/4) ⛦ Generals command the lower ranked demons. They are extremely powerful and intelligent, one of the more difficult kinds of demon to defeat. They are nearly invincible, and only the strongest of angels can defeat them in combat.

⛥ Reapers (1/ထ) ⛦ These demons are tasked with roaming the mortal realm and convincing mortals to join the Demon Army. They are very intelligent and skilled manipulators. They aren't necessarily tasked with killing mortals, they are required to simply convert them to the demonic lifestyle with the promise of power. They are very clever. While they may not be as strong as generals, they rely on their wit and swiftness when encountering an angel.

⛥ Lower Demons (2/ထ) ⛦ The most common kind of demon, these demons are usually among the youngest and have recently been given the demon title. They have to pay off their debt to Lucifer by killing mortals. Once their debt is paid, they will move up to Reapers. These demons are very weak, and are only able to possess mortals. Their demonic form is also small and not capable of the great abilities that higher ranked demons have. They are obedient to the Generals and are often picked on by Reapers

With the power of God and his worshipers giving them strength, The Army of Angels serve god and protect the mortals from the demonic menace. They are gentle, caring, and a beacon of hope and trust for the mortals. They guide the mortals and give them protection. However, angels are still very powerful and have the power of God to give them strength against demons

Abilities: Angelic Powers
Weaknesses: Unlike god, they are not omnipotent; going against god may include punishment such as: being stripped of their angel title and to become a mortal, being forced to remain in heaven, or any thing else the higher-ranked angels deem fit; the fewer believers in God, the weaker angels get; they have no free will and must obey God

Roles

Similarly to demons, the angels have hierarchical systems. But unlike demons, lower ranked angels do not obey higher ranked angels, and higher ranked angels are not seen as superior to lower ranked ones.
🕇 Generals (1/4) 🕇 Generals are the commanders of the angel army. They are the most powerful of all the demons. They are in close communication to God. They are also the ones who assign mortals to guardian angels and punish angels who fail to do their tasks.

The Suburbs are an area a half-an-hour away from the city. The homes are a good distance apart and is mostly inhabited by families.

The City is where most of the population live and is where most demonic activity is, due to there being plenty of negative energy and crime that attracts demons.

The Secret Demon Base is an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of the city. This is where demons bring back their victims or chill when they have no other tasks to perform. They use demonic magic to hide their location from the angels.

⛥Tyra hissed in discomfort, frozen in her tracks as a man wearing a cross walked past her. He turned around in alarm and he had a gentle expression on his face. "What's wrong, girl?" He said as he knelt closer, bringing the cross closer to her. Tyra growled as she bolted right past him, running through a car and down the street opposite of him. She stopped as she looked behind herself, seeing the man pulling out a phone and calling. She huffed as she continued padding down the street. "I could have chewed his face off. Damn that cross!" She grumbled to herself as she padded along the sidewalk, her tail swinging low between her legs. There was salt on windows and crosses on doors. The humans were becoming more and more aware of the demons, meaning bad news for Tyra. She had to be clever if she wanted to capture any mortal souls.

🕇With a gentle glow, the border collie appeared in the field of grass. After a couple of blinks, he found himself in a park. He felt so excited, more excited than he had ever felt in some time. It's been some time since he had last been on earth. He was excited to get back to his guardian angel duties and to see how the world had changed. He was invisible at the time, so that he could observe without causing any mortals to freak out. He silently flew over the park, looking for his destination. He wasn't here to fool around, he had to guard his designated mortal. He flew towards the sidewalk as he shook his pelt, causing himself to become visible to the mortal's eye. He looked around as he trotted forward, his tail eagerly held high. He couldn't help but wag his tail in glee, he was almost too excited to start working.

☼Colby whimpered as he heard the click of the metal around his collar. "I won't be long. Stay here," His owner said as he rubbed his head once before standing up and walking towards the door. Colby whimpered and instantly began barking, watching his master's figure disappear into the house. His barking ceased when he heard the car door slam from behind the fence. His barks were useless now, he was gone. Colby frowned as he stood up, padding in a circle as the chain tied him down. He wished that his human wouldn't chain him up, he felt he was mature enough to be left alone without it. He sighed as he flopped down onto his belly, looking up at the sky.

She could feel the collar start slipping across her head, it was working!
