The colony very strongly believe in family and togetherness. They believe that one who sacrifices others for his own life is cowardly and should be kicked out of the colony. No animal is greater than another in this colony. Everyone helps out in any way that they can.

Unlike the predators, they typically do not use weapons. However, some warriors take spears and knives that they steal from predators. They do use bags either stolen from humans and predators or made themselves which they carry on their back that holds their supplies.

Nobody knows how the Ningi Colony was started. Some say that a zebra herd joined together with some buffalo and it grew since then, others say prey animals suddenly banded together when predators became especially viscous. No matter the origins, the Ningi Colony is a large band of different prey animals who share a common culture and protect each other from predators. It is a magnificant alliance and many animals come from afar to seek the protection from the colony.

Typically among the oldest in the colony, they are selected from birth and trained for the task of shamans. They communicate with the gods and ask them for guidance.
