Liliana was about to growl at Rikiar for budding into the leads conversation with the medic. Then she caught sight of Kiana running off. "Kiana!" She snarled after the wolf but didn't follow. The alpha was with two artemis hunters. They were sure to have everything under control but more wolves would just muddy the fight up. It would do more harm than good with too many wolves rushing there at once. "No one else is to leave!" She snarled, resting her gaze on Rikiar a little longer than was probably needed.

Ashoka watched as Frostbite ran back off towards camp. She took to the air once again and spotted Soulshard below her. She landed next to the wolf, folding her black scaled wings into her side. "We need to go back to camp. Now." She said, starting off towards camp on her paws.

She grinned when the fourth Hellhound let out a pained snarl and attempted to get out of her grasp. Through clamped teeth she purred," You'll never get out of my grasp, pup." With that she killed the beast with a quick snap of it's neck. Then she then reached for the hellhound biting her right shoulder, and grabbing it by it's forehead she ripped her-self out of it's grasp, lifting it up and slamming into the one on her left shoulder, forcing it to also let go. Katyina then turned her gaze to the one at her tail. She snarled baring her teeth, her monstrous battle form looked like it could blend in with the hellhounds, if it wasn't for the pale fur. The creature seemed to whine, and before it could retreat she lunged forward, grabbing it by the throat, once again crushing it's windpipe.

He groaned when Thanatos spoke, he hated it when this happened. He was always called when something needed to be scouted out, as one of the few winged wolves in the pack. Huffing he muttered a quick," Fine." And leapt into the air, after retuning his mates lick. Swiftly he started toward where the sounds of battle were coming from. It wasn't all that long, he was always faster in the air than on land. His eyes narrowed as he spotted the group, Hellhounds, fairly common. Though the one that's not fighting is a concern. It was bigger than the others, it seemed to be a mix of all of the types of Hellhounds, plus an extra. Giving a soft hum, he faltered when that very hellhound looked up at him and seemed to smirk. That's not your everyday Hellhound alright. Better get back. Making a quick U-turn, Konrad started making his way back, his mind wandering back to the larger Hellhound.

Snarling with pleasure as she killed a Hellhound, she quickly found her second victim, rather viciously tearing at the beast's skin avoiding it's sharp horns. Though her flesh was torn when one of it's horns dug into her left cheek. Another day, another battle, and another scar. She thought as she fought. Digging her dull claws into the flesh of the hellhound, holding it in place after she managed to pin it to the ground.

Rikiar met the females glare, with an unfaltering gaze. Glancing at Thanatos, he rejoined the other guards calm and relaxed, as if he didn't care about the fact that his sister had ran off or that his mother was in battle. He rolled his eyes, why was his sister like this? Has she not thought this through? Does she not realize that Liliana is most likely going to punish her later. "No need to get your tail in a twist Liliana." He muttered under his breath. After sitting down he sighed then rather loudly asked," Can we please spar? There's no reason to not spar, even with what's going on. I highly doubt it that Alpha needs help." Or do you not believe that our gamma and two Artemis Hunters can keep her safe?

Leaping off the hellhound he was on when the others managed to kill it, Kosma decided he should target one of the hellhounds slightly further away, settling his eyes on the 7th furthest from where they were attacked from, as much as he wanted to attack the hellhound furthest away, it was much bigger than the other ones, and something just felt off to him. Letting out a semi-loud bark from far away to lure the hellhound away, before dodging one of their attacks from underneath, with mild success, considering the clamp of teeth that he felt on his back, before leaping at it's neck, trying to position himself in a way that it couldn't bite him, he wanted to be mostly in shape for when he did decide what he would do about the last one.

Instead of doing what Liliana said, Cassia decided to trot towards the exit of the extinction area, "I'm going back to camp, on the off chance I'll be needed for when Katyina returns" She stated, her tone level and calm, though it hid a mood of concentration behind the calmness. Continuing through the exit, she thought of what might have happened, of course Konrad would know when he flew out, but she figured this wasn't a normal event. Besides, if the other leads wanted her back, they would stop her now.

Looking around his said, "you'll all only be allowed to go with 50% powers, and if you can't control the strength of your power, you are either not allowed or once in a while, now, get together, and get to it."

Alexxa watched as her mate took to the sky, but turned her head once hearing Thanatos' command. She nodded before looking for Lucius, her sparring partner. She got up and padded over to the younger male, "looks like we're sparring today." She didn't quite know how to feel about the wolf quite yet as he seem to enjoy his time to himself.

Her mind often wandered to other things rather than the task at hand so she hadn't been listening to Thanatos until he said her name, and then Runa's. She looked towards the other female and smiled slightly. Remembering that she had been talking to Fenrir when Calla first arrived, she mentally frowned at the thought.

In the background, Katyina and Narin were handling everything well. Eventually the fight was almost over, accept for one. Nyx eyed the large hellhound, wondering why it hadn't attacked yet. She saw it watching the sky, watching them, her blood ran cold as she realized this was most certainly the alpha Hellhound. She bared her teeth in its direction when she heard a second battle cry, Nyx knew that the Alpha's daughter also had one, she just hadn't ever met the wolf. I guess today is the day. Nyx watched as Kiana's battle form barreled into the fight, heading toward her mother.

Kiana tore through the trees, onward toward's her mother's snarling. She could hear the fighting 10x better now, the scent of death was all around, but it was Hellhounds. She knew what the were before she even got there. She saw that everyone had taken care of the Hellhounds, except for one. This was the largest Hellhound, and one of the first alive, that she had ever seen. Kiana's snarl turned into a laugh, her battle form was cocky, and she padded over to her mother's side, waiting for the next move.

Her eyes narrowed as her daughter Kiana arrived and snarled at her, " You were supposed to be sparing girl." It was Kamaria who spoke, it seemed the beast had come out to play. "But no matter, you are here, pup. Let us enjoy this while we can." The fighting had stopped all that was left was the largest, a perfectly deadly mixture of the three types of hellhounds, with a little extra. Suddenly it stepped forward and spoke a feral grin on its face. "This is only the beginning, Kamaria. Choose or all will fall into ruin." And with that the Hellhound disintegrated into mist.

Frozen for a few hear-beats Narin shook her head, an intelligent hellhound, well by the gods, I would have never thought. Turning to the others she spoke, "Maybe we should find the others, I do believe that Cassia should be with the others. She should look over any injures we have." She glanced at Kiana, but ultimately ignored the younger female. Narin didn't understand why Kiana came here, they hadn't needed any help, nor had they called for any. But she didn't want to question her in front of her mother, that might not go over well.

Sangria was running through the forest, exhilarated at the cool breeze blowing through her thick pelt. Leaping into the air, Sangria beat her powerful crimson wings and rose above the trees. Breathing in, Sangria's bliss was interrupted by the overwhelming pulse of haemokinetic energy from the direction of the camp. Snarling Sangria dove towards the scent, flaring out her wings at the last second and landing among the carnage of dead hellhounds and wounded warriors. Her wings remained out, her silver gaze sweeping over the area to make sure that the threat had been eradicated. Satisfied, Sangria folded her wings and trotted towards Narin. "If there's anybody in need of immediate medical help, I can lend my powers." Sangria called out to everybody in the area. The she-wolf was quite irritated with herself for missing the battle, boy how nice it would be to cool the fiery blood of a hellhound. "What happened out here. People are talking about an intelligent hellhound? Those things usually can't tell the difference between a mouse and a rat, much less give our alpha an ultimatum." Sangria asked Narin in a low tone of voice, flicking her ears in hope to catch other tidbits of conversation occurring around her.

Now that Kamaria was in full control she turned to Sangria as the female approached. "All is fine Sangria. The Hellhounds have seemed to have forgotten their place in our world. That's all." Kamaria's voice was different from that of Katyina, much silkier, and it seemed almost ageless. Shaking out it's fur the creature turned it's dark gaze to Katyina's daughter, a low growl rumbling in it's chest. "Why have you come here girl? Your mother will not be happy when she finds out about this." She's not happy about it now! Katyina snarled in the back of her mind. Kamaria snickered, and then sat down. "I do believe you are right, Narin. Let us go to the extinction Arena." Silently Katyina's opened up a shadow portal and slowly began to walk through it, snarling and snapping her teeth at the dark creatures that growled at her in greeting.

She gave a slight jump when Sangria landed and trotted over to her. Silent for a short time as Katyina spoke she blinked. That doesn't sound like Katyina... How strange. Her gaze turned to Katyina as the female left, stiffening when she heard the growls and other calls that resonated from the shadowy portal. She would never get used to that, turning her attention back to Sangria she barked," I could use a little help, my scales are shedding so they may have been punctured." Glancing around the group Narin added," The meeting was going according to plan when the hellhounds attacked, it was strange. They seemed more coordinated that before, attacking in groups. Like they were being ordered. I don't know what's going on, Sangria. but I don't like it, and I don't think it bodes well for our future." Though it might explain a few things.

Sangria bowed her head respectfully to her alpha, silently taking note at the change in the older wolf's voice and tone. Hm. Interesting. Sangria sniffed at the chink in Narin's scales, sensing the small stream of blood flowing out of it. Sangria narrowed her eyes and the bloodflow stopped, then reversed it's course, flowing back into the wound. Once the blood had returned to the body, Sangria licked the wound once, and willed the blood to stop its flow. "I've stopped the bleeding, but I can't fix the damage to the scales, see the medic for that." Sangria relayed to Narin. "As far as the hellhounds, that an interesting development. I'm upset that I missed the battle, but you guys definitely had it handled anyways." Sangria revealed truthfully, dipping her muzzle to Narin in respect of the oldest Hunter.

Unlike Katyina, Kamaria always felt at home in the shadow portals, the creatures that lived there were always so... wicked. Not even Kamaria could identify the beasts, which both Katyina and Kamaria found strange. But all the same the creatures seemed to recognize Kamaria's form and screeched. "Master!" they called, a variant of screeches, howls, growls, snarls and hoots echoed in the shadowy land. In the back of their mind, both Katyina and Kamaria knew what these disfigured creatures where. Demons. The light at the end of the tunnel became clear, and soon their body would feel light against their fur once more.

Once the dark portal closed she shivered with relief, thank the gods. She smiled at Sangria and spoke softly," That's alright, the new scales will be slightly disfigured, its normal." She gave a slight hum then added," It could have gone batter, I wasn't using my illusion power so, that could have gone a lot better actually." Gently nosing the younger she-wolf, Narin said," We could have used your help during the battle. But we're stiff grateful to have your help now, Sangria. So thank you."
