Traveler got up and shook his paw. "Thanks. Now it's time for me to go. Thank you for your healing and your...er...wonderful hospitality. I don't think we'll be seeing each other again." He nodded to Jay, then Temper and Rosabelle out of politeness, then turned and trotted out of the camp. At the boundary, he paused, then conjured a special plant out of the ground. It contained shiny red fruits in the shape of a pear, only smaller. He said, "These fruits only grow in the Land of Eternal Snow. They can be used to heal any disease and restores energy quickly. It's good for battles and the harshness of winter. I hope you use it well." Then he left.
((Now's your chance to run after him so I can keep playing him! O_O))

Watching Traveler trot from the shadows of her den, Jay suddenly realized that she didn't want him to leave. Getting to her feet, she forced her tired paws to walk, then trot, then run in the direction he had taken. Behind her she heard a shout- Rosabelle's voice, telling her to come back, probably- but she ignored it. When she came to the border, she saw the plant, and recognized it from a myth she had once heard, long, long ago. Taking one of the small, red, pear-like fruits, she carefully ate it and felt her strength surging back. Amazing! A healing always takes my energy away, but this... this fruit, how is this possible? Scenting the air, she caught Traveler's trail and followed it until she began to see fresh pawtracks, and then, at last, Traveler himself.

Traveler, scenting Jay behind him, turned around and cocked his head. "What? Have I forgotten something?" he asked. (Traveler ish playing dumb ))

EDIT: Regidor stalked toward the Spiritpack camp site, staying low to the ground to keep out of sight. Spotting Angel peering from her den, watching from him, he let the moon's light catch him at just the right angel so Angel could catch a glimpse of him before fading back into the shadows. It was the signal to bring out Hannah.

Hannah sat down on a rock somewhere I have somewhere to stay with people...er animals so why am I not happy?

Jay panted a bit, out of breath, then said "Yeah. You forgot me."

Traveler pawed at his ear. "So what, you want to see the Land of Eternal Snow, too? Or do you want me to stay?" His lips curled just the slightest bit in a smile, goading her on.

Regidor came out of the shadows, posing as a nice, friendly wolf. "Hello!" he called to Hannah. "You seem very sad. What's wrong?"

Jay locked her teeth, thinking quickly. At last she said, "I just want a bit more adventure before I'm too old to leave the camp. I'm sure there's somebody else who can act as a healer while I'm gone, although I've never had much success with apprentices." She winked at him, not in a flirty way, more in a 'by not much success I mean I've scared them all away' way.
