He nods his thanks to Dalso, then started making his way out of camp. "I just hope a saber hasn't gotten them. I really don't want to deal with one of those today." Bayek hadn't seen one in a little over a month, and that encounter had ended up with then lone Saber screeching away and Bayek with a few new scar's. He had been rewarded with his sisters annoyed worry, which he still didn't understand that was possible. It's not like he had sought out the saber. Though he had, once when he was still in training. That had nearly gotten him killed, and a very long, loud and public scolding from both of his parents. Her mind started to wander, Ratta she had left the pack in search of a mate a few days after Bayek took over as alpha. But Senu had always thought that maybe it was because she didn't think their brother could be a good leader. If that was true, Senu might have agreed at the time. But like everyone in the pack, she came to realize that Bayek had been the best choice. Despite being trained as a fighter, her brother had something Ratta and she didn't have. The mind of a diplomat. or at least when he wanted one. About a month or two after he became alpha, another pack started to encroach on the territory. Most alphas would have called for war. But it seemed that Bayek wasn't most alphas. He had asked for a meeting with the Alphas, and betas of the other pack. As it turns out, the other pack had many sick wolves but not enough healers or herbs to take care of them. So Bayek sent two healers over with some herbs, and an alliance was formed. She had been in awe of her brother that day, and proud to call him both her alpha and her brother.

male and planting herself down. She meant business but she was still friendly and warm

an eyebrow at the brute. This old wolf wasn't effected by this brute and his sharp tongue.

With a flick of his tail the male lowered his body, then softly whispered," Lets stay back for a few moments. I want to see how they handle this." He grinned as Konrad spoke, forcing back a laugh. He always saw a little of him-self in the younger male from time to time. His gaze flickered to Rayne, checking her over for injury's and let out a soft hum when he spotting the pup that Rayne seemed to be protecting. The sight pulled at his gut, and though he couldn't catch the pup's scent he had an increasing notion that the pup was pack.

the female. Her blood hummed with anger, she wanted to show this female her place, she
wanted to slam Ember's muzzle into the dirt and force her to submit but Rayne wouldn't
for the sake of Geren and how startled he must be and for the fact she wasn't in the mood to

Annoyed that they had been found out, the male -rising to his full height- padded out of his hiding place his body relaxed. "Rayne, Konrad. Who's this?" While he was looking at the loner, he was talking about both the loner and the pup. Bayek trotted over, coming to stand next to Rayne and the pup a cold look resting on his face. He resisted curling his lips into a snarl, not wanting to scare the pup. Well at least no one has no go anywhere to talk to the alpha. He though with a trace of laughter. Bayek looked down at the pup his eyes softening, and he reached down to nuzzle him, and get another whiff. He froze and let out a soft growl when he recognized the scent. Phantom. I swear to god if I ever see her again, I'll tear her a new one. The scent of the female was faint, but it was there. He closed his eyes for a moment attempting to calm him-self, before turning his gaze back to Ember. " Well sense it's obvious you don't want to join the pack, can you tell me why you haven't left my territory?" He asked with a slight growl.

Her gaze softening the lass turned to Granny Maud, " I apologize, Granny Maud. I was taught certain rules, about respect and how to treat and respect higher ranks. It rubs me the wrong way when other's show that didn't get the same teachings. Or ignore those teachings." Senu snorted then nodded respectfully to the older she-wolf then turned to leave.

Konrad had let lose a snarl and had been about to lung forward when Bayek came out of his hiding place. He froze, then lowered his ears slightly and let his tail fall - which had been pointed straight up and lashing angrily. - The younger male nearly jumped at the alpha's question. " Well the loner said her name is Ember... and the pup's Geren." His murky grey-brown gaze followed Bayek actions, noting that Dalso was also there. He stiffened when Bayek left out a soft growl, after nuzzling Geren. I assume he's recognized the scent. I hope.

Rayne seemed to visibly settle upon Bayek's arrival- her tail which was arched over
her back fell- not as low as a lower ranking wolf as she was prideful of her rank but she held it
at just the right spot height to signal she had a rank within the pack. The female watched
Bayek smell the pup and seem to recognize the pack scent that he carried. She would ask
later, once the pup was safe and this Loner was dealt with properly.

Granny Maud returned the nod, she agreed with Senu though Granny was almost
certain that Titan was taught the same, Finch showed the same respects that many of
the wolves in this pack were taught as pups. She remained beside Titan though, perhaps
her defending him showed him that even if he were a sour grump still the eldest
believed in him and had his back. He just needed to shape up, perhaps a gentle
motherly or even grand-motherly touch could help.

Dalso padded forward with Bayek, the male despite being from a slightly smaller
bloodline was still sizable. He stood beside Konrad- his friendly exterior had turned to ice
as he glared at Ember. He fought back a nasty snarl however his hackles along his spine
and neck were bristling with untapped rage. The female make one move towards any of
the pack and he would act upon his rank, to guard the territory and his own belief of
guarding the pack.

Dereth
Beta Male - Location: Camp -> Forest - Tag: Finch

Dereth gave his large wolfy grin, he was honestly ignoring everything going on with Titan. Mainly because while he knew much of the pack had problems with Titan, Dereth didn't dislike the world, he knew of the threats the wolf posed but Dereth had faith in the others to keep Titan in line. Plus, if Titan was going to go after anyone it would be Bayek and while Dereth was loyal and would want to protect Bayek, he also knew Bayek did not need protection. Better to just be pleasant. "Well, let's go stretch." He started out into the forest a light jog, intent on picking up speed once they got further away from camp.

Geren
Loner Pup - Male - Location: Edge of territory - Tags: Konrad, Ember, Bayek, Dalso and Rayne

Geren watched the interaction between the group. He listened carefully to what they said. If that smaller wolf was a loner, then so was he. If that was the case, was Geren's options the same? So far the thoughts sounded a little more than terrifying to him even if the two he first met were obviously trying to comfort him and protect him. Was his options leave, meet the alpha or teeth? He didn't even really know what an alpha was.

Then there were more wolves. He was used to be around two larger wolves, granted those were his parents but to have so many around, it just added to his constant confusion. Even if they were trying to hide their aggression, Geren was well aware of how tense the situation was becoming. He did know it wasn't at him at least.
