Lark stretched, yawning. She always hated mornings. Frowning, she glanced around, spotting a few deer from the herd. She nibbled some of the grass that she had been sleeping on, and stood up. Lark trotted over towards a small puddle and drank from it. She sighed, it was stale and dirty.

Quill paused, wisps of breath billowing from his nose in the early morning air. His coat was lightly coated with dew and the air smelled of oncoming rain. Oh joy. He shook his head, showering droplets of water off of his antlers. He glanced down at the valley to the left of where he stood, watching the does stir from their doze, milling about as usual. Nice and quiet, just the way he liked it. Quill, satisfied in the normality of the day, turned from the herd to graze.

He looked around at his herd, watching them wake. He grazed on the dewy grass.

Starfall stood up and looked at the meadow around him. He nibbled on some grass next to him, and a few flowers here and there.

The doe pranced through the forest that surrounded DuskHerd territory. She looked up at the dawn and lay down, tucking her legs under her. She nibbled on the grass around her.

Lark frowned, looking up from drinking water from her puddle. She spied a few deer waking up, and decided to graze as far away from them as physically possible.

Destiny drew a breath as the familiar sound of birds awokie her.
She rose to her legs and blinked the last few moments of sleepiness from her eyes. She gazed ahead- ooh, looked like the grass was nice and dewy today. She trotted along to the open field and began to eat, not really minding the strange looks some of the others were giving her.
