Nayden stood up when he heard the sound of footsteps coming towards them. The fighter bristled a bit at the loner but nodded politely when Fain was introduced to him. “I thought you and Harika were on patrol?” He asked, confused. “Bonding time-? It’s training actually.” He turned to Zephyr, “Apparently I have been ordered out on patrol.” He thought to her, “I don’t want to interrupt our training, would you like to come along?” Normally he would have to go to the alpha but Veratrum looked busy. His eyes narrowed worriedly, Veera’s fur was looking brighter than normal which usually meant something had upset her. “Did-did something happen?” He asked Alistair.

“Hey! No fair!” she barked, racing after him with a laugh and skidding to a halt at his side. “I win.” She growled quietly with a little tail wag though in truth she was pretty sure it was dead tie. Fain looked up at the large wolf she was introduced to, “Hey” She said, nodding to him and the little female.

Veratrum - camp - Rika, Sky
She looked over at Sky, admittedly having almost forgotten about the loner. “When Ginger left for the patrol she had her power too, we can’t rely on them anymore.” She paused for a second, considering. “I don’t want you leaving camp with just a loner no matter how nice she seems… but If Alan and Starlight don’t need your help on Ginger then I’d like for you to go talk to that loner who came in with her. Hear her take on what happened, the poor girl probably wants to go home.”

Zephyr- Tags; Nayden, Alistair, Fain

Zephyr shifted her head to looked up at Nayden. 'Are you sure you want me going with you, I might slow you guys down and if something were to happen I can't protect myself or any of you.' Zephyr said through the thoughts to Nayden. She was really nervous about this, especially with other wolves being with them.

Trooper- Tags; Alan, and Everyone else in the med den

Trooper looked up at Alan and nodded her head. "I promise I won't leave right now then." she mumbled out as she sat down on her haunches and listened to the adult wolves talk to each other.

Rika - 4 years - Male Beta - Tags; Vera, Sky
He was still trying to piece the story together, leaving him in an even more confused mess. Why had he left Ginger alone to meet a loner? Why were they near another pack's territory? Rika looked over at Alpha, "Alpha, why would the loner come with us?" He looked over at Sky, and was surprised to see how much they had grown.

He shrugged, 'Its about as dangerous as our patrol to the lake from yesterday, besides Alistair's a nice guy, I'm sure he'll go easy on you.' He thought to her, "Though It's your call. I understand If you don't want to come along." Suddenly remembering something he turned to Alistair, "Ah, were is this patrol headed anyways?" He asked the other fighter, realizing that he didn't even know were they would be going. It was odd they were bringing a loner along, he wasn't quite sure he trusted her but Alistair seemed to. If Veratrum had approved it then it must be safe enough.

Veratrum - camp - Rika, Sky
She turned to Harika, puzzled for a moment before realization dawned on her face. "Ginger came into camp a short while ago, apparently she had been injured when her powers failed trying to bring down a deer, the loner helped her get back to camp." She explained to Rika knowing it was not the best explanation but not wanting to overwhelm him with the full story either. "I asked the loner to wait around to get her take on what happened."

Rika was disappointed that he blew his cover, but it was inevitable. Its probably been... what, almost a year? Harika had great control over his emotions, enough so that Rika never really had a reason to... come out? As much as Harika disliked Rika, Rika respected Harika because of how hard he worked for the pack. Harika was often vulnerable, and if Rika truly wished to be out often, he easily would. He looked back at Vera, a sly grin on his face, "Thanks, Alpha. Why are two loners at camp anyway? One helped Ginger, but who's the other?"

W-Whatever. I let you win anyways. he looked up at the sky, faking an attitude. Oh, well Um. We’re just ya know, walking around, looking for possible Survivors or wolves who remain from the packs that have disappeared. he replied to Nayden. It’s obvious you want Zephyr to come with you, and I don’t mind. It’s her choice. Alistair smiled at Zephyr. I don’t mind if you come, it’s your own choice. I can see Nayden wants you to come Alistair said to Zephyr through the mind link. And to answer your earlier question Nayden, Ginger is injured... and her powers are gone. The poor girl has the attention of the healers currently. But I’m absolutely positive she’ll be fine with Alan and Sky working on her he smiled enthusiastically. Trying his hardest to remain positive.

Zephyr looked over at Nayden before nodding her head. 'I guess I will come along,' she said through the link so that the other three wolves could hear her. She didn't want to risk slowing them down though so she was going to push herself to be able to keep up.

Thunder didn't speak up after that he just went about the trail he was following. Wondering if the wolves had come to a stop or just trying to get away. "If they stopped it would explain the different directions of the scent....if they were doing this to try and throw us...well it seems like a waste of time." He mumbled to himself, trying to figure out Loners was like trying to climb up a tree for prey. Impossible unless you had a power tthat allowed you to climb, it was hard to understand a loner unless you were one yourself and he had been a pack wolf all his life. "Maybe I should ask Ginger what it's like I'm sure she can tell me. Might help me understand a bit more as well."

Sky - Healer - 5yrs - Crush: Open - Tags: Vera and others
Sky shook his head slightly, "Before Gin left she could have already lost her power Vera. Her power wasn't something that she could use all the time. Unlike mine..." As he spoke a vine grew around his neck to form a necklace of sorts. Small white flowers bloomed around it. "With this I'll be able to know if my powers start to stop working or just vanish. If that will put your mind at a bit more ease. I'll take my leave now." He said bowing to the two of them once again before turning to track down the loner. He quickly found her carrying in to basket's? He chuckled slightly before padding up to her as she took a seat on a rock munching on a fish. "Hello once again, I'm not sure I caught your name when Gin was brought in but mine is Sky."

Ginger - Hunter - 5yrs - Crush: Open - Tags: Trooper, Alan, Kylie, Starlight
Ginger smiled slightly as Kylie spoke about how they hadn't talked in ages. It was a bit true, Gin had been hang out and about alone the past month. Perhaps she had been a loner so long it was hard to get out of the feel. Then again she did care a great deal ajd had always done her best to provide for the pack since they had taken her in. "Normal i suppose, sorry if I've been more like a loner lately. Just thinking about the past makes me a bit...well you know lonely. Then again I guess I should stop those thoughts because I'm not a loner and you guys have accepted me for who I am. Just a feeling that doesn't seem to go away is all. Though I'm sure now I'll be more pack driven than anything. What she said was true, now that her power was gone she wouldn't have time to think about tye past. She'd be too busy making sure she didn't screw up in the pack.

Silky - Loner - 6yrs - Crush: Open - Tags: Mallory
She smiled as he waited for her to take tye first bite anyways. He was such a smart pup for his age, she couldn't see how any mother would want to abandon him. She leaned down taking a bit from the hare, it was larger than normal. That way in the midst of her chewing on her piece he could eat his fill. She nodded her head for him to dig in, a small part wondered if he would want a pack. She shivered slightly thoughts of how her parents pack had treated them. No, no pack would take her in, but they might take him. Only if he wanted to go, if he didn't then she'd stick by his side protecting him.

Star stood back to admire her 'paste' before picking up the make-shift wooden plate in her mouth and heading back to Ginger. Three more small feathers fluttered out behind her. "Here you go," the medic woofed to Ginger, placing the paste by the hunter's feet. She smiled up at the Beta before asking how she was. "I've been stuck in the den and strictly gathering for a while, so I haven't been keeping up with much. So, how are you and, well, other than the rather obvious issue surrounding the pack, how's the pack?" Starlight asked Kylie while applying the paste to Ginger's leg. The paste was spread thinly using a large, spear shaped leaf.

Another she-wolf emerged from (what appeared to be) the alpha's den. Shadow smirked to herself. She could have some fun here, while also answering her question. She stared directly into the other wolf's eyes. Her own eyes began to glow as she forged a telepathic bridge between her and this other wolf. Who are you? her voice echoed around her head (hopefully) as well as the other she wolf's.
