Veratrum
When she saw her pack come together, the alpha stood, orange flames licking across her golden coat. "My pack, I know that we have only just begun to settled down and to rebuild our lives after the barrier disappeared." She paused, looking out at the wolves assembled. "But, I'm afraid that was only the beginning, I... I-..." Veratrum broke off again and collected herself. "The barrier was only the beginning of what is too come. Ancient things are stirring in our beloved forest, I want everyone to be ready. Never leave camp alone and make sure myself or one of my betas knows we're you are at all times. That is all." With that Veratrum turned away and disappeared into her den, her heart beating fast In her chest. "If only they knew." She muttered to herself with a shake of her head. She had begun to tell them the full truth, but had lost courage last second, though she supposed it mattered little in the end anyways.

Nayden
The fight was worried but He couldn't help but smile at Zephyr when she sneezed. This had been nice, more than nice actually but Veratrum was calling for the pack, they would be in trouble if they didn't make it back soon. He bounded through the forest, caught between making sure he didn't loose Zephyr and getting to camp. He slowed when he could hear his sisters loud voice through the trees, though he couldn't see anyone yet. Nayden stopped cold in his tracks as he realized what Veera was talking about. What was she doing? She had given her word she wasn't going to tell the pack, not yet at least! How much had she given away? He turned around, 'On second thought, it's probably not that important.' He told the omega, his tail swishing nervously, 'I'm going to stay out a bit longer.'

Alopencia felt worried. She heard Veera heartbeat speed up as to be nervous. She'd never thought Veera would be afraid like that. Alo knew fear happened but this seemed to be a different kind. She cleared her mind and took a deep breath. Turning around to the pack wolves she searched for Crow.
She made her way to her den. She crawled through the entrance. Once inside she turned around and stuck her head out.

Duhndays mind wandered in no thoughts at all. He found it funny that everyone was asking Finn what happened. Glancing around he looked up and the place where Veera was. He found the thought of being an alpha unpleasant, for everything rests on your shoulders. He found the idea of being in charge of keeping everyone busy the most boggling.

He watched as she disapeared into her den in silence. He sighed. If not for that stupid border breaking, everything would be fine. No weird creatures, no missing wolves. His parents would still be alive.

Once Zephyr reached camp, she stopped. She had absolutely no idea what was going on. When Nayden turned around she knew something wasn't right though. With as much courage as possible,
the omega jumped in front of the fighter. 'Are you okay?' she asked as she purposely looked him straight in the eyes. With not being able to hear anything it was rather easy for her to be able to focus on one thing.

He almost tripped over the omega, not having expected her to intercept him like that. Nayden was about to make up some sort of excuse and skirt around her but the question caught him off guard. He looked back into her eyes, feeling the weight of her gaze. For some reason it made him pause, it was like she could see right through him. He wasn't sure what to think of that. '... I'm fine, just embarrassed I suppose." Nayden took a deep breath, looking back at her and trying to hide his apprehension. 'Veratrum was telling the pack something she promised she would keep between us. Something I saw a while back.' He growled. He didn't know if Zephyr was aware that one of his abilities was futures sight, it wasn't a secret, but it wasn't obvious either, or particularly useful in his opinion. 'I don't want her spreading around prophecies that might not even be true!' He shook his head in distress 'Honestly, I'm enough of a joke as it is. If everyone knew how unreliable these visions are they would never trust me again!' Nayden looked back at her, 'I'm sorry, I shouldn't be troubling you with this. You probably have enough troubles of your own without having to listen to mine.'
