Moolettia; Female; Human; Tags: Mountain group

Moolettia had barely graced Mathais with a side glance and visibly flinched when a furious hiss exploded off to her side. The now visible red dragon leapt into the air in an obvious panic and shrilled viciously at her, Akuji was blaming her for whatever had spooked him. Swallowing down a sharp wave of fear she tensed her form and growled a low, almost dragonalike, warning. She faintly heard the sound of beating wings somewhere in the sky above them, her eyes flicked from red to gray to a vivid lilac color. Taking a small step back she waited to see how everyone would react before she acted out in an attack.

Aldara; Female; Dragon; Tags: Mountain group

Aldara literally slammed to a halt and veered sharply back towards the group as she pinpointed Akuji's location. This had proven to be a good idea because not soon after he had streaked into the air, avoiding the place where he had been standing as it caved in. Her pupils became slits as he shrilled at the group and made no moves to leave. Her gaze flicked to Moolettia as she stepped back and flicked her wrist slightly. Aldara remained air born but she did ready herself in case she had to shoot in to defend the group.

Akuji; male; Dragon; Tags: Mountain group.

Akuji felt the ground beneath him 'shudder' and panicked slightly. Quickly taking off into the air he shrilled viciously at Moolettia, blaming the dragon rider completely. His cold gaze raked across the group as he readied his attack, curling up his wings and opening his mouth, ready to shoot a beam of ice at them.

Kronos
The Gamemaker || Location || Swamp || Tagged || Copil

Kronos didn't seem aggressive, and Copil's rather unconfrontational sound did help ease his worries of stumbling upon some sort of aggressor. Rumbling low in his throat to show his compliance, and let her know he would not immediately attack, the black dragon circled around and came in to land in the clear road in front of her. The trees bowed outwards under the wind caused by his beating wings, and the air was filled with the rustling of leaves as he touched down, hind legs hitting first before he folded his wings and fell forward onto all fours. He shook himself, the motion starting with his head and traveling all the way down to his tail, raising the ridge of scales along his spine like a bird's feathers before folding them flat again as he flicked his forked tongue out like a snake's to taste the air and said, "You seem lost."

Copil al Mortii/Female/Dragon/Tags: Kronos

Copil looked at the unknown dragon before her. After a bit of really awkward staring she nodded, "It may seem like I'm lost, but I'm going in the correct unknown direction, no worries!" Copil sat down and wrapped her tail around her feet, while tilting her head in a confused manner, "Not to be rude or anything but... Why are you here? Are you lost?" She continued to stare at him with furrowed brows while thinking, 'For some reason he seems peculiar... A bit different? Anyways he's being nice so I don't think he's too dangerous.' Glancing away she shifted her wings to hide most of the damage done by the humans, because she didn't want to seem weak if he suddenly went hostile.

Titus Eutherius

The Captain || Location || Mountain Path|| Tagged || Group

Titus' horse reared beneath him when it heard the dragon's shrill cry, heavy hooves pawing at the air before the captain managed to bring it down again, somehow managing to barely keep it from panicking entirely. His head snapped towards the source of the sound, a determined expression finding its way onto his face as he eyed the massive red dragon. Gods curse it all, could they ever catch a break in this extraordinary day? Still, no matter how many times it happened, he knew he could not afford to react with anything less than his best. Any hesitation, any assumption that this would be yet another bluff or something that they could talk their way out of, could easily get people killed. Besides, he could see the signs of the dragon readying an attack; his maw was open, wisps of freezing air curling out from between his teeth as he prepared his wintry breath.
Grateful that he'd had the foresight to return to the group, Titus urged his horse into a gallop, backtracking and passing the line of horses on the treacherous path. His horse was one misstep away from falling off the ridge entirely, but he was a sure-footed steed, and a few others shuffled out of the way to make it easier on their captain as he rode past. He brought his horse to a skidding halt roughly in the middle of the formation, where it would be easiest for him to protect all of them should the dragon attack; as his horse stopped, he reached over his shoulder and took his shield in hand, letting a layer of magic roll over it as he looked up at Akuji, waiting. He spared a fraction of a second to glance over his shoulder, and perhaps spotting who the dragon was there for, his found Moolettia again and he called,
"What the hell did you do?"

Kronos snorted a breath out through his nostrils and shook his head negative. "I live around here," he explained, stretching a wing out to indicate 'here' as though he were welcoming her into some grand estate and not... the middle of nowhere. It wasn't much to look at; lots of trees, a few unkempt roads, murky swamp water standing between tree trunks visible in several directions, but he seemed quite proud of it anyway. "Which would technically make you a trespasser." The words carried a faint growl about them, like he wasn't entirely happy about that trespass, but his next words suggested otherwise. "But I'm a gracious host." A transparent third eyelid flicked sideways over his brightly-colored eyes, and then his slit pupils tightened as he focused more intently on her face, wondering about her unusual story. "So, what really brings you here? You wander in unknown directions often?"

Copil al Mortii/Female/Dragon/Tags: Kronos

Copil flinched inwardly at his probing question. Trying to avoid it she answered vaguely, "Oh you know stuff brings you everywhere, there is no certain course provided nor a certain destination pinpointed at any time in life." Thinking quickly she tried to find a way to switch topics entirely, "My name's Copil al Mortii, sorry for trespassing I guess?" Glancing around she continued, "I can leave if you want me to.." She trailed off as the ache in her leg where Ahone's blast hit, spiked suddenly from her previous running. Feeling the torrent of pain she clenched her jaws, waiting for his answer in utter silence.

Kokyu ♠︎ Dragon Scout ♠︎ Tags: Woodland near human city; Jessica

“Colours?” Kokyu mused, gently clenching his fist around the coin and moving it to his side. “As in... gems? Cloth? Glass?” He quieted his voice at Jessica’s explanation. She seemed to be a dreamer, and the white dragon respected that through his logic-based personality. “Have you ever been to the mountains?” He murmured, finding his gaze lifting to the sky that was starting to dim. He couldn’t make out any stars... yet. Kokyu admired the stars himself, though he didn’t have a particular reason why, and he had found that the best place to see them was the mountains. Of course, he was practically mountain-made in his dragon form, so he couldn’t feel the cold or altitude as someone accustomed to the plain’s level, but it was still a nice thought. After a minute of silence once Jessica finished, the black-and-white haired boy cleared his throat. “Yes, one day.” Kokyu considered saying something about her bringing a star to show her father was already coming true with his presence, but quickly bit down the comment.

The dragon’s mood visibly altered upon entering the cottage, though his original discomfort calmed a bit with a sudden, steady breeze filling the room. His golden eyes peered around curiously at the human possessions. Finally Kokyu looked back to his companion at her shrug. “No one here?” The man guessed the problem, following after her mainly in curiosity of the food. He approached the stove a bit carelessly, and when Jessica blew a small, black, flame into her hand, Kokyu bared his sharpened fangs in surprise and backed up into a dining set-up, successfully knocking over a chair. After getting over the initial shock of the shadow-bearer’s fire, the traveler huffed a confused exhale. “Uh... pretty rare.” He stated it as an answer, but was honestly unfamiliar with its terminology.
___

Mathias Iversen ♠︎ Human Soldier ♠︎ Tags: Royal Army Forward Camp Delta; Titus, group of dragons, some more people

Mathias cursed very loudly at the sudden explosion of noise that had broken loose, watching the whole thing happen. He supposed that a fight where they could see their enemy was better than a sneak attack that had appeared to have been planned, though their current situation did make him regret his choices a tiny bit. The man pulled his horse’s reigns to keep her steady as he immediately backed up to force himself between the prince’s horse and the dragon, then stared directly at the brute. If an illusion had gotten them into this mess, then perhaps it could also draw the dragon away? The soldier’s mind raced with thoughts of what could scare a dragon, then thought back to the altars he had seen back in the city.

Deintro was the god of earth, and now that Mathias was in the red dragon’s head, he focused all of his energy on him. He gritted his teeth as he replaced the cracked ground at the bidding of a god that looked like a moving statue; in all honesty that’s what it was, since drawings and statues are the only things Mathias had seen of the god. The brunet willed Akuji to see the giant statue surface where the opened earth had been and “threw” a materialized boulder right next to the colour-changing dragon.

Mathias was growing very tired very quickly, having used a lot of energy on the past illusion combined with jumping onto Copil before. His breathing was ragged despite his only real action of sitting on the horse, but his current illusion held strong. The only issue would have been if another human had been caught up in the spell, since the statue Mathias used certainly didn’t look like the god of earth.

Laura ♠︎ Dragon enchantress ♠︎ Tags: outside of a small town; Dahlia

Laura fiddled with the edges of her coat's sleeves. She really was restless, as Dahlia had guessed; it had been months since the woman had shifted and she was itching to fly- even though she had learned to live in her current form for years on end. She had no time to think about all of this now, though, since a dragon really didn't have a place looking for customers in a human city.

Her pink irises rested again on Dahlia, and she smiled at the name. "I find that rather surprising... You seem pleasant enough to me." She voiced, no lie in her words. Her... Odd jobs didn't seem to make too much of a profit, but perhaps... Laura continued listening with a keen interest, her features calming as the other listed off examples of her work. The last one in particular caught the girl's attention and made her give a soft snort of amusement. "Paid to befriend? And you think you aren't well liked?" The shifter now held her hands together with her head titled to the side a bit- partly because it was comfortable, and partly to keep an eye on her cart.

"But, uh, if you would happen to want to make an exchange, I may be able to bring you to a bigger city." She threw out casually, not wanting to make too big of a deal out of it. "Of course, I would perhaps like to listen to your terms of work."

—————————
Jessica Marie|16 year old|Human|Kokyu|Her home
—————————

Jessica smiled warmly as she turned her head slightly towards him. “Well anything really. Gems and glass are beautiful. Gems are harder to sneak away with but glass seems to be easy enough to make. I’ll show you my collection later.” Her body language gave off a shy expression as her hands started to fidget uncomfortably. “Don’t laughs at me but the farthest I’ve ever traveled was to the lake and a bit around the area. I’m much smaller than most dragons and don’t know how to fight. The only thing I have going for me is my speed and agility.” She grew silent as she started to prepare the pan and laying the meat on a glass plate.

“Father isn’t home and I’m not too sure when he’ll be back.” There was a slight hint of sadness in her voice. He was the only thing she came home to since her parents disappearance. He had a way of filling the ache in her heart that would come back to haunt her at the begin and end of every day. Her head turned quickly as she heard the wooden chair being knocked over. Her eyes were a bit wide but settled, showing the amusement in her eyes and the slight cringing at the corners. “Well that’s a first. I never thought I’d startle someone like you.” She teased playfully and looked back to the sizzling pan. Carefully picking up the party, she laid it on the cast iron pan. The smell that the beef gave off as it sizzled was divine. It smelled of fresh beef with quite a few spices. “It might be rare but it is dangerous none the less. Whether I burn something or lose my temper. It’s never any easier.” She carefully flipped the party and laid another party in as well. “I guess that’s why I want to leave so much. I’m a danger. A risk. Atleast out there, I can control what happens to me.” Her anger was building a bit and as it did, shadows covered the windows, dimming the light a bit. Her eyes had turned to her dragons, becoming a piercing blue snakes eye. “It’s no fair to anyone of magical abilities around her. All these humans want is to enslave them and make them feel weak when in reality, they could be killed so easily.” She growled out her last sentence, revealing the sharp pointed fangs. The fangs might had been smaller than others but the could pierce the skin with ease and reach the muscle.

Moolettia; Female; Human; Tags: Mountain group

Moolettia turned her gaze towards Titus rather forcefully, her gaze was cold but it was sharply dragged back up as Akuji shot. Sidestepping sharply, she flinched as the ice met rock and hardened quickly. As Akuji's gaze turned towards the group as he readied his next attack Moolettia unclippied her shield from its holder. She graced Mathais another small side glance, cursing quietly under her breath she decieded to reply a bit late. "I didn't do anything, something scared him and he attacked!"
She froze when a boulder shot into the air and straight at Akuji. As he followed her gaze, noticed it and weaved out of the way he shot a beam of ice at nothing before whipping around and shrieking viciously at Moon. Her eyes darkened into a crimson as she hesitated slightly, glancing at the group. Swallowing down her fear she let out a well practiced shrill whistling noise and not even a few moments later, Aldara whisked away from the clouds.

Aldara; Female; Dragon; Tags: Mountain group

Aldara growled quietly as his attack began and twitched her clawed paws. Her gaze flicked from Moolettia to Akuji and then to the group until Moolettia's note pierced the air. Twisting downwards she ripped away from the clouds and back into the mountains. Swerving sharply past a corner she whisked upwards before knocking into Akuji, sending his next attack off target. "You vile human murdering creature, you destroyed it!" She shrieked, whisking up and adding on. "Broken bond! broken strings!". Whipping around she shot a burst of purple flames from her throat at his face.

Akuji; male; Dragon; Tags: Mountain group.

Akuji shot his first burst of fire at Moolettia, snarling viciously at her. His gaze was cold as he looked at the group, lashing his barbed tail through the air. His Orange eyes landed on Moolettia as she looked past him and followed her gaze, a huge boulder was be on hurled in his direction. He weaved out of the way, in his alarm shooting his next attack at nothing again, he hadn't noticed the statue glaring at him. Whipping around he screeched at Moolettia in pure fury, as he readied his next attack he was surprised when a whistling chirp escaped Moon and Aldra appeared. As Aldara knocked him away his third attack was also lost, he whipped around to glare at her when she spoke. Her shrill chirps were deranged and broken, he curled up his tail slightly, hissing a warning as he lurched away, dodging the flames. "You choose your path, I choose mine!" he snapped back. "You broke our bond, you broke everything!"

Titus Eutherius

The Captain || Location || Mountain Path|| Tagged || Group

As Akuji spat ice, Titus raised his shield. One shield alone seemed useless to protect the entire search party and their unwelcome dragon-rider tagalong- until it began to glow. A loud hum could be heard, and a practical wall of magic rotated in a growing pattern outwards from the shield's center. It was tinted a pale blue, but clear enough to be seen through, and it cut off the ice partway through the first shot, causing it to build up on the surface of the magical shield instead. The air was chilled by proximity, but the deadly force had been halted in its tracks. Frost gathered along the barrier's length, making it shine in the air, and blurring the outline of the red dragon as he hovered on the other side. Titus remained where he was, eyes and hands aglow, powerful magic charging the air around him, waiting for the dragon to attack again.

But a dark shape shot out of the sky and slammed into the side of the red dragon, and when Titus realized what it was, he knew he had to get his soldiers out of there. They couldn't fight perched on a thin ledge like this, beneath two dueling dragons, and now some kind of animated statue that was joining in the brawl; their only hope would be to escape, or find more solid ground to take a stand on. Seeing as Akuji was distracted, he lowered his shield. There was no time now to question why on earth a living statue had joined the fight on their side, and while he suspected some kind of magic from one of his own, he could question them later, given that they all made it out alive.
"Keep moving, I've got your backs!" he shouted, and the horses at the front of the formation began to move again, hurrying downhill and seeking a more defensible position. Titus remained where he was, watching Akuji, ready to shield the human forces again if he had to. He would occasionally glance towards the soldiers as they moved on, checking on their progress; at one point, he glanced at Moolettia and nodded to her once. He wasn't happy about it, but he'd help keep her alive, too. Since her dragon was fighting for them now, he'd return the favor for as long as this temporary alliance lasted.

Kronos
The Gamemaker || Location || Swamp || Tagged || Copil

"I see," Kronos rumbled, not sounding entirely convinced. His sharp eyes were fixated on her, like he sensed something was off with her story, and he was determined to find out what. She had something to hide, he was certain of it. Of course, it was only draconic nature to hide any signs of weakness- and it was his nature to discover those weaknesses and exploit them. However, he dropped the prying, or at least seemed to, and sat back slightly while he introduced himself. "I am Kronos. A pleasure to meet you." He had a low, hissing voice, and with each word he showed glimpses of his long, sharp teeth. When Copil offered to leave, he shook his head, and made a dismissive gesture with one paw, making his gold-tipped claws gleam in the light. "Oh, please, there's no rush, as long as you mean me no harm. I do love visitors. Stay a while, if you wish, it's nothing to me."

Ahone Grays
¯¨'*·~-.¸¸,.-~*' ¯¨'*·~-.¸¸,.-~*'
Prince | Some cave | tags; Everyone at that wonderful fight, Titus

It was all happening way too fast. Ahone couldn’t keep up with all the action that seemed to spur out of nowhere in milliseconds. Him, Mathias, and Moon had been having a calm chat, nothing crazy or personal being mentioned or asked, until the massive blast of wind from above when there wasn’t the slightest hint of a breeze where they were, even though they were halfway up a mountain.
Head snapping up, the prince’s eyes scowered the empty sky in search of what caused the powerful downdraft right into everyone there on the ledge. He knew it was a dragon, I mean, why wouldn’t it be? There’s nothing else known in the world that can cause such a burst of air unless they also have massive wings or control over the sky. Just like many others in the group, the mage’s eyes never left the ever-darkening sky, the setting sun causing a glare to hit his eyes just right to give him those wonderful spots.

That was when he heard the frightened shrill of a dragon. Dropping his attention from the sky back to the rocks around him, Ahone’s gaze immediately locked onto a massive red dragon, it’s scales still flickering from the dark grey and purple tint of the rock to blazing red, the colour you would find in a fire. Though the wonderful patches in his eyes that were momentarily blind kept him from being able to focus well, he recognized this dragon from earlier, the one that tried to kill him, Moon, and Aldara. I thought Aldara got rid of him..

The blast of ice that shot from the terrifying, overgrown lizard, that shatter on the ground right next to Moon startled the horse he road, forcing him to have to calm him down while still trying to watch the beast.
Dragon after dragon, that’s all it was today. Now he realized why Titus was so on edge, furious, and...exhausted, at least from what a Ahone could tell.
What caught the young noble by surprise was the.. flying boulder and massive living statue. This was an illusion, it had to be! But Moon isn’t.. he looked over at Moon, seeing she wasn’t focusing on the weird things going on as if she had summoned them. When the next ice blast came, flying through the air, the world seemed to slow for Ahone. The massive bolt slipping through the peaceful sky, the shimmering form of magic passing overhead, and the dark form of Aldara divebombing the red dragon. Everything at once. Why was it all happening at the same time?!
The impact of the ice against the summoned barrier snapped Ahone out of his daze, speeding everything up back to normal speed.

"Keep moving, I've got your backs!" What?! Ahone’s attention was no longer on the dragons and illusions, for he was now focused on Titus as the others pulled away from the dragons and went down the side of the mountain as fast as they could. With a deep breath, knowing he was probably gonna end up risking everyone’s life for this, the prince urged the horse forward until they were next to where Titus sat upon Dragonsbane(did I get that right?). Now came the part that would probably screw them over.
Ahone reaches over and grabbed Titus’s arm, the side on which he was holding the shield since it was closest. “If you stay here you’re going to get yourself killed, and if you get yourself killed your men won’t have a captain to lead them.” Before he could stop himself, the prince started ranting partially. “I’m new to this war stuff but believe me when I say it’s not all about honorable deaths. You have to survive to keep leading your soldiers. You are their captain and if they get a new one, who knows what could happen. Please, for the sake of your men.”
