Kokyu ♠︎ Dragon Scout ♠︎ Tags: Woodland near human city; Jessica
Kokyu made a "hmf" sound at Jessica's words, murmuring, "Yes, I've seen many things in my days. People always want what they don't have... I suppose that rule applies to us as well. Though... They do not seem to be able to track magic? I knew there were a few different kinds, but if it were to ward against dragons I would have felt it..." Kokyu had seen a fair share of dragon-inspired objects, though never cheaply made figured to ward them off. The mockery made him snort and consider getting one as a joke. Kokyu didn't really have a problem with get species, though he did still find them a bit foolish in an amusing way. The man turned his head when he noticed the narrowed eyes and grin aimed his way, and regarding Jessica with an arched eyebrow, was quickly distracted by the coin. "It's really nothing..." He protested as he cupped the coin in his hands, though his eyes had followed it the entire way. "I mean, I did have a hoard at one point but it's long gone now..." After realising that he was a few steps behind the traveler took a few quick paces to catch up. At the girl's comment about his nose he scrunched it up just to spite her. "I can still fly in this form." He reminded her, glancing to the houses they passed with slight distain. "How can people live in such places? I would be walking rounds around the building of I were cooped up there..."

Mathias Iversen ♠︎ Human Soldier ♠︎ Tags: Royal Army Forward Camp Delta; Titus, group of dragons, some more people
Mathias watched carefully as Moon and Titus held somewhat of a conversation, eavesdropping though his mind was beginning to wander. The dragon couldn't be seen from overhead, though the man did glance up briefly when he felt the sudden still I of wind. He shook it off with little thought.
Thanks to the current lack of wind, the soldier noted a soft inhale of surprise and turned his head to see the prince himself observing him. It was his eyepatch-he could tell, though there was something else that had appeared to have caught his attention as well. Mathias only gave the royal a small nod in greeting as he wondered what had caused the attention to draw to his back- and then it hit him. The man forced his posture not to turn rigid as he remembered how the prince, dragons, and moon had spent time together; surely Ahone would have seen the sword? Still facing forward in an expertly-faked casual stance, Mathias willed the sword to appear to turn to a dark mist that escaped into the sky. It was still there, yes, but the soldier figured a small illusion-game would amuse him. The tip of his mouth barely raised at his thought.
Mamas was certainly not expecting the woman travelling with them to look around, though when she did his blue eye automatically moved to look at her. She smiled weakly at both him and the prince, and while he himself was a bit confused, he nodded back.

Laura fiddled with the edges of her coat's sleeves. She really was restless, as Dahlia had guessed; it had been months since the woman had shifted and she was itching to fly- even though she had learned to live in her current form for years on end. She had no time to think about all of this now, though, since a dragon really didn't have a place looking for customers in a human city.
Her pink irises rested again on Dahlia, and she smiled at the name. "I find that rather surprising... You seem pleasant enough to me." She voiced, no lie in her words. Her... Odd jobs didn't seem to make too much of a profit, but perhaps... Laura continued listening with a keen interest, her features calming as the other listed off examples of her work. The last one in particular caught the girl's attention and made her give a soft snort of amusement. "Paid to befriend? And you think you aren't well liked?" The shifter now held her hands together with her head titled to the side a bit- partly because it was comfortable, and partly to keep an eye on her cart.
"But, uh, if you would happen to want to make an exchange, I may be able to bring you to a bigger city." She threw out casually, not wanting to make too big of a deal out of it. "Of course, I would perhaps like to listen to your terms of work."
