Ahone looked at Moon as she spoke, nodding to acknowledge that he heard what she said before looking at Copil. “I heard dragons could turn human. If you do that, it would be easier for you to stay with Moon and Aldara if others do actually come to get me..” Without turning to face Moon, the prince asked a question he knew only she could hear. Why is Aldara glaring at me like she wants to kill me?

Aldara; Female; Dragon; Tags: Moolettia//Ahone

Aldara nodded slightly, sadly agreeing with her. "Pity, I would of liked to be around another dragon." She raised her chin, nodding politely to Copil. She glanced down at Moolettia, narrowing her eyes slightly. 'Moolettia, i would like to speak to you, outside.'. Knowing she would agree, Aldara stood silently and padded out of the cave, glancing across the valley. She heard Moons footsteps as she appeared and turned to face her. 'I have questions and i want answers, truthful answers.'

Moolettia; Female; Human; Tags: Ahone//Aldara//Copil

Moolettia smirked ever so slightly at Copils words, rolling her eyes. When she heard Ahones voice again, but it had its eerie silence affect she frowned. As she went to reply while acting like she wasn't Aldara spoke and stood leaving her side, her pupils had narrowed into slits sharply and she glanced at Ahone to Copil. "I.. We'll be back in a moment.." she murmured, following after Aldara. Literally as she excited the cave and halted Aldara whipped around, glaring coldly, Moon met her gaze with an unblinking emotionless stare. 'Then ask.' she stated bluntly, her hand flexed ever so slightly, something she did when she was nervous, and frowned at Aldara, awaiting her questions nervously.

Copil/Female/Dragon/Tags Ahone

Copil tilted her head in confusion muttering, "Did I miss something?" Padding over to Ahone she decided to ask him if she just blanked, "So is it just me or did the whole group suddenly get aggressive without a word being said?" She looked over at Ahone with a quizzical look on her face.

Ahone shrugged and watched the two walk out. “I have no clue what just happened..” returning his gaze to Copil, he asked., “so can you turn into a human? Or have some sort of similar form?”

Copil/Female/Dragon/Tags: Ahone

Copil shrugged her shoulders and sighed, "I wish I knew if I had one or not, it would defiantly be handy, considering that dragons are usually hated in human villages.." She chuckles lightly, "How would one even know if they could transform into a human, would it just be like one day POOF you look like a human? Or what?"

Aldara; Female; Dragon; Tags: Moolettia//Ahone

Aldara lowered her head locking gazes with Moolettia. 'Who is he truly moon? Do you know?' her gaze darkened at the flash of panic in the girls gaze, as she replied Aldara growled quietly, leaning back. 'What role does he play, hes not a solider, if he was he would have attempted to kill you while I was gone.' as she replied again Aldara snarled, flexing her claws. "Stop lying to me!" she shrieked furiously. Although to Moon is was nothing more then a furious roar.

Moolettia; Female; Human; Tags: Ahone//Aldara//Copil

Moolettia forced her form to relax, meeting Aldara's gaze, she couldn't hide the flash of panic in her gaze as she spoke, she knew Aldara could see it too. 'I don't understand...' she stated forcing her 'voice' to be confused. At Aldara's second question she had already managed to figure out what she was trying to find out. "He is a solider, he didn't attack me because we didn't him.' she answered evenly. As Aldara exploded she flinched away from her. "I'm not lying, Aldara"

Akuji; male; Dragon; Tags: none.

Akuji snapped his head up at a furious screech, changing his scale colours so he blended in to the rocks, again, he flew up and perched himself just above their cave, looking down at the two traitors.

Kokyu ♠︎ Dragon Scout ♠︎ Tags: Woodland near human city; Jessica

Kokyu made a "hmf" sound at Jessica's words, murmuring, "Yes, I've seen many things in my days. People always want what they don't have... I suppose that rule applies to us as well. Though... They do not seem to be able to track magic? I knew there were a few different kinds, but if it were to ward against dragons I would have felt it..." Kokyu had seen a fair share of dragon-inspired objects, though never cheaply made figured to ward them off. The mockery made him snort and consider getting one as a joke. Kokyu didn't really have a problem with get species, though he did still find them a bit foolish in an amusing way. The man turned his head when he noticed the narrowed eyes and grin aimed his way, and regarding Jessica with an arched eyebrow, was quickly distracted by the coin. "It's really nothing..." He protested as he cupped the coin in his hands, though his eyes had followed it the entire way. "I mean, I did have a hoard at one point but it's long gone now..." After realising that he was a few steps behind the traveler took a few quick paces to catch up. At the girl's comment about his nose he scrunched it up just to spite her. "I can still fly in this form." He reminded her, glancing to the houses they passed with slight distain. "How can people live in such places? I would be walking rounds around the building of I were cooped up there..."

Mathias Iversen ♠︎ Human Soldier ♠︎ Tags: Royal Army Forward Camp Delta; Xiao Mei, Titus

Mathias gave a curt nod paired with a "yes sir." Then, with a glance back to each of his superiors, the man left to go to the animals in question. Most were still a bit wet from the precautions of the first dragon attack, but the illusionist did find one that was mostly dry and led her over to where the smaller group was gathering. She was a tan-toned mare, and was clearly more eager than Mathias was to get going. He had slipped the few things he needed into the saddlebags and his sword into the sheath on his back. Mounting the horse, he waited for their Captian to join.

Copil/Female/Dragon/Tags: Aldara Moolettia Ahone

Copil raced towards Aldara and Moolettia at the dragon's furious roar. With her intuition screaming at her that something was wrong she nudged Moolettia into the cavern gently, while blocking the entrance from the enraged dragon, hissing angrily she asked Aldara once again, "What the bloody Fotia are you doing? Because from what I see you are trying to alert every human within a 20 mile raduis that we are here." At the end of her question she snarled in annoyance.

adira "echo" frey
____________________________
assassin | the city | cain

"I am not one of his personal assassins. I doubt he would have told me of such things even if I had asked. I am alone in my task." Again, this begged the question of why Rowan had hired her instead of using his own sect? It didn't add up. While Echo's prices were relatively low(she only asked for enough to live off of), they were still probably steeper than what he pays his servants. It was illogical. Echo's gaze drifted briefly over to the alleyway's entrance, catching a glimpse of the guardsmen' shadows as they came nearer. Much like the blade at her throat, it was too close for comfort.

Titus Eutherius

The Captain || Location || Forward Camp Delta || Tagged || Mathias, everyone in/around the cave?

Titus went to meet his search party, and someone led his horse over to meet him. Dragonsbane had been armored up, though for the sake of not tiring him out, the sheets of colorful fabric and some of the heavier plate metal had been removed. Still, the warhorse was quite a sight in the shining barding, and it seemed eager to get going, stamping one heavy hoof on the ground and snorting loudly. Titus was clearly expecting a fight. He wore his own shield crosswise on his back, his sword in its scabbard, and his spear was propped up in the turf beside his horse. The chosen soldiers rallied to him in the matter of a few minutes, most on horseback or leading their mounts. A nervous excitement hung over the crowd as they milled about, waiting, but as Titus approached silence fell among them. The captain broke the silence first. "You all know who we're looking for. And what we're looking for. None of us know what we will find. But there are dragons in these mountains. Prepare yourselves well, or this may very well be a suicide mission for some of you. My job is to keep that from happening." Titus swung himself up into the saddle, and leaned out of it again to pull his spear from the ground. With the weapon in hand, he began to lead the way out of camp, calling over his shoulder, "Let's move! We've wasted enough time already."This was not like earlier, when he had ridden out to face the dragon just outside their camp. No cheers or celebration followed them. Just the grim, nervous silence of men watching their brothers ride off into the unknown.

It took some time to get a solid lead. One mage walked his horse beside the captain's, with a tracking spell alight in his hands. It functioned like a magical compass, the glowing needle pointing not north, but in the general area of the prince. It was not perfect, however, such things seldom were; they would be relying on their scouts' skills to pinpoint the location more precisely.
A thin trail of smoke was their first lead. It was likely from a campfire or similar, for it seemed too weak to be a wildfire or dragon flame; it stretched high into the air from what seemed like a sheer cliff at a distance. As they drew closer, they could see a narrow ravine cutting through its base, and the smoke's definite source. There was some sort of rock outcropping, and then an area of shadow behind it, possibly a cave. Nearly everyone had their heads back, either eyeing the outcropping, the cliff edges, or the skies in general. They would be dead if they were caught down here.

Up ahead, the path they had followed narrowed treacherously; it would be difficult for the horses to traverse, but not impossible. The cave was not far now, but the angle blocked their view from anything going on immediately outside. They would have to split up to approach the cave, Titus decided, and see what was inside. He instructed the three scouts among the group to leave the rest and try to get the higher ground, where they could potentially surprise the enemy. If there even was one. So far, they had seen nothing, and it was clear some of them had their doubts. But Titus was convinced that even if there was nothing there, it was worth taking some precautions when they went to inspect it. While the scouts would take the long way around and set up an ambush, he would lead everyone else to take the direct route up the path, where he could more easily protect them with his magic.
There was most likely to be more to the plan. Titus never left things half finished. The scouts had already dismounted and begun to climb the cliff face to get above the cave, and he turned towards his mages and warriors, forming a strategy in his mind. But when the otherworldly, earsplitting roar of a furious dragon split the air and echoed down the ravine, he knew the time for planning had passed. For a moment, the party was stunned into silence, all eyes fixed on the cave where they now knew there would be a dragon waiting for them. Again, it was Titus to snap them out of it, rallying his men from their stunned state and reminding them of the mission at hand.
"Forward, now!" he commanded, then urged his horse onwards and began to lead the troops up the path.

Cain Dawson

The Freelancer || Location || City streets || Tagged || Echo

"Suppose that's smart of him," Cain admitted. He scratched at his chin with the hilt of his spare dagger as he looked appraisingly at Echo. He heard the guards approaching, but didn't bother to look, tracking them instead by sound. They weren't exactly bothering to be subtle. Abruptly, the knife was whisked away from Echo's throat, as Cain stood up and stepped back from her. "As much as I hate to leave loose ends, killing you would be such a mess, and with those guards so close I really just don't think I have the time to fit a jailbreak into my schedule. I'm a terribly busy man, as I'm sure you're aware." He grinned at her, but his expression grew deathly serious as he said, "Just don't come after me again. I won't be so merciful a second time." He twirled his daggers, then jammed both into their sheathes at his sides. Another step back. He flourished a hand, then dipped into a mocking half bow, never taking his eyes off of Echo.
Suddenly, with a whirl of his coat, he turned and ran at the alley's opposite wall. He scaled it quickly, hardly slowing down in the transition from a flat horizontal surface to a vertical one. His hands were busy, and his back was exposed, but he didn't seem to mind, perhaps knowing Echo would have no time to try anything with the guards so hot on their heels. In the space of a few short seconds, he was vanishing over the top of the wall.
    And then he was gone.
