Kokyu could almost see the gears churning in his companion's head, standing patiently as she did so. His arms were crossed over his chest now, and despite his confident posture he was still very much comfortable. She was undoubtedly suspicious of him- especially upon seeing his eyes- though Kokyu himself knew that he was telling the truth. At Jessica's question Kokyu nodded slowly. "Yes, and everything the wind can control, subsequently." He commented as the air stilled around them once more. The boy raised an eyebrow in a somewhat amused reaction to her amazement at such a simple thing, though he supposed there really weren't that many magic-users around. Her next question made his grin turn to a playful smirk. "Well, I can certainly do more than just that- being a traveler on your own requires an extent of the 'Jack of all trades' capabilities. Magic-wise... I seem to have a connection with wind and weather." He cut his explanation short when he noticed the apparent 'wolves' that surrounded them, his heightened senses not giving him any more information about beasts in the area. Could a magic user have made them? Kokyu turned sideways, glancing back to Jessica before slowly moving his gaze back to the shadows.
Mathias Iversen ♠︎ Human Soldier ♠︎ Tags: Royal Army Forward Camp Delta; open
The brown-haired Man sighed softly at yet another dragon roar, having watched the captain and the prince fight rather impressively. He had moved without much needed questioning from the back of the tent, where he had overheard the words of the general and the dragon a few moments before leaving for his own safety. Now though, he assisted some of the other soldiers with pushing out some wheeled weapons. Mathias quickly finished his part of the task and sat down on the dusty ground near one of the medic's tents. His blue gaze traveled to the sky, where it stayed planted on the tip of a wing until it once again dissapeared above the clouds. With a quiet groan the man muttered, "how many dragons can visit one place in only a day?"
