"I'm absolutely positive thier going to be useless" Donnie retorted with a grumbling growl. Spencer rolled her eyes, "Alright, you lead and we'll stick close by. I'm pretty sure it won't be too hard to find something decent" The Aussie glanced towards the buildings that were slowly being overrun with grass and weeds. "Let's hope it isn't too far of a journey" she mumbled more to herself, giving a wary glance towards Donnie.

The large white male tilted his head, as he glanced to the white female. He stayed silent a moment, as he listened to her speak. For some reason, part of what she said caused a twinge...Shaking his head, he spoke now. "But they'd leave you, a heavily pregnant female, to have to do so?" He twitched an ear, barking "Skyy!" a bit louder.

The small pup huffed a bit, and she flinched when a strange female and male adult appeared near them. She lowered herself a bit, not wanting to fight any adults...She'd pretty obviously lose, and what would happen if Lito found them and attacked them, and even Zip? She looked to Zip, when he spoke to her again. "H...Hi..." she yipped nervously, perking her upright ear at a bark in the distance. "D-Dad??" she barked back again, hearing another bark.

The tan and darker young one huffed a bit between bites, fish still held between his paws. He lifted his head away a moment, to let out a yawn. He flicked his tail back and forth as he started to eat once more.

Jessica- Female- 3 years and some months- Inuit Eskimo mix- Pregnant, mate disappeared- tags: Donnie and Spencer

The red and whitish-silver mother-to-be had given up trying to convince that male of anything, not like she should care anyhow. Instead, she returned her attention to Spencer, only focusing on her. She sighed as she nodded at her, and began to walk forward. "If a young male just a little over a year old could make, what problems could we have?"

"We didn't have the same humans." said Maria quietly, "My human died before the virus hit. He had a massive heart attack." She shook her head lightly and sighed. "I don't think Teddy would've let us live through this." she said, "But I'm not sure." She shrugged a little.

The Aussie chuckled softly under her breath while Donnie growled lowly. What problems could they have? Plenty. There was always the presence of danger in Spencer's opinion and especially with many more animals starting to fight for land that was now open to roam free among. Cow, sheep, pigs, they were among the first to be killed in this survival game they all played now. Rodents, Raccoons, and Possums ran rampant. Predators now sought to claim what they wanted. It was a messed up world now and they all would struggle to stay alive. After all, dogs were not at the top of the food chain.
"Just try and steer clear of any threatening scents. Who knows what roams around just waiting for a kill"

The red and whitish-silver mother-to-be was making a gentle sound to herself, what could be called a thrum but if she were human would be a hum. It was almost like she was singing to her pups, and seemed to do the job of settling them down in there, anyway. Shaking her head, she saw his face a moment, pushing thoughts to the back of her mind. "Alright, Alright." she said, as she continued to lead. After awhile, she said "I smell rabbit...And squirrel."

"I was a champion." said Maria, slightly standing taller as she said that, "We've competed all over the country. I'm sure you've just heard him on the TV." Maria smelled the air as she smelled a few pups and adults. She walked to where the scents were and saw Skyy with the group of strays. "Are you Skyy?" she asked, looking to the tiny puppy.

"Rabbit" Donnie mumbled, cutting to the side and going off into a flood of cars and grass rather than follow the scent of rabbit straight on. It was a losing chase if he didn't plan out his course of action. Rabbits could easily hide under the cars or duck into sewers if he wasn't careful. Spencer glanced towards her border collie friend as he trotted off. At least she knew what to go after now, leading wasn't her strongest suit especially when it came to hunting. Licking her muzzle, she went directly after the scent while making sure to keep Jessica within sight. The plan was simple really and if it played out right, Donnie would be the one to kill the rabbit.
Though, much to her surprise and joy, there was two rabbits taking shelter under a car. Donnie waited in the distance while Spencer caused a ruckus with barks and the scraping of her claws against the metal, scaring the rabbits from under it. As the rabbits dashed in Don's direction, they split apart as soon as Don dashed out from behind the car. Putting all his strength into his hind legs, Don lunged at the rabbit, knocking it off balance by swiping at it and then going for the kill. Spencer on the other hand had a wild time chasing after the other rabbit. Jumping over cars and cautiously glancing around, she'd finally was able to catch the rabbit when it dashed past a large patch of tall grass only to end up running straight into a car tire. With it dazed, she made her kill. "Two for one!" Spencer cheered and yipped, licking her muzzle and grabbing the rabbit in between her teeth. She jumped up onto a car, easily seeing Jessica even from a ways away. Making their way back to the Inuit, they carried the rabbit.

The red and whitish-silver mother-to-be huffed a bit, still sort of ignoring Donnie. She definitely smelled a squirrel, and if she needed to prove it, she would...She noticed that Spencer was keeping her in sight, shaking her head. However, for a moment, when Spencer was chasing a second rabbit and maybe distracted a bit, she went sniffing around where she was. She was disappointed to find the squirrel already dead, unsure if it drank bad water or something. It's companion ran off, and she stepped back to where she'd been. She watched the two coming back.

Maria slightly panted as she felt some pain from her puppies. "I'm Maria." she said calmly, "I've heard a lot about you." She slowly sat down, knowing she couldn't make it back to the warehouse.

"I've gawd it" Spencer marched proudly back to Jessica, muzzle full of rabbitt. Her tail wagged happily as she glanced towards Donnie who still looked as grumpy as ever. "Lesh keep move" Donnie mumbled bluntly, looking at neither the Aussie nor Inuit.
