Sniper noticed Wisteria in the corner of his eye. He kind of felt bad for her, but he couldn't let himself get emotional. He lay down and rested his head on his paws, closing his eyes for just a minute. He blinked them open just to look at Autumn. "I'm gonna take a snooze, we can take shifts if you want to sleep as well." He said, "Wake me up when the stars come out." As he finished talking he closed his eyes again. Falling asleep wasn't a problem for him, in just a few minutes he was snoozing soundly.

Reiner heard the dog speak, it was unlocked the gurgling and moaning of the dead, so he moved forwards slowly. "I am fine considering the circumstances, although hungry. And how about yourself?" He asked, a slight tilt to his head. His eyes scanned the dog for any signs of aggression, but only saw pain, and his guard lowered. The metallic sound of a can hitting the pavement down the alley startled Ren and his eyes widened, "I really hope that was a rat.."

Autumn I ♀ I Open

Autumn gazed over at the black dog, and nodded. Sounded good. She sat and watched, before hearing a slight shuffle in the grass. She looked far in front of her, and saw a little black mass wandering in the grass. She didn't see exactly what it was, but stood up quietly and went in her hunting stance anyway. She watched intently as it moved here and there before freezing, most likely suspecting a presence. That's when she ran fast and pounced on it before it even had a chance to react. She caught it by the head, and felt that she broke the skull. She returned to her original spot on the moss patch and dropped it. It was even better than a mouse, a vole, or anything else that was small. It was a rat! She quickly proceeded to gut it, but looked back at the two dogs. She let out a little sigh, and tore off a half. She walked over and dropped the clean half in front of the two. She then walked back without saying a word, not wanting to upset the dog further.

"I'm Echo the owner of this den" she stood in the entrance trying to make her shadow look big. "There won't be any problems, if you tell me why your here." She curled her tail up in a dominant way hoping the dog couldn't smell her fear. "I don't mind you staying, but as I said my den. I want a reason for you to stay."

Sniper yawned, blinking his eyes open. He assumed some time has passed by, but when he looked around it was morning. He shivered, confused, and where was everyone else? As he walked down the never-ending forest path he saw a glimpse of his human Chase, playfully running around, hiding in the trees. Sniper ran after him, barking for the comforting touch of his hand, but he never seemed to get closer. Chase was fading into the distance, "Everyone ends up alone..." he said, and not before long he was gone. Sniper awoke, fluttering his eyelids, it was just a bad dream. He sat up and stretched, looking around to make sure everyone was okay. Only a few hours had passed, he could smell food but Wisteria was missing. He glanced around, spotting the food. Allspice already had a share, and sniper hadn't eaten since morning. He scooped up the food in his jaws before anyone had the chance to protest and gulped it down hungrily. "Where's Wisteria? We should get moving soon."

The thin, lanky dog made his way down the cracked street warily, his large ears perked. The distant moan of the walking dead made him anxious, but the scent of death seemed stale. Once he had cleared out his kibble and failed to open the cold-box, he finally made his way out of his crumbling den and into the cruel city.
Pine gazed around the cluttered but silent streets, shifting his weight uneasily as he caught a flash of movement at the corner of his eye. He froze, turning stiffly towards it. He caught a flash of brown pelt. His heart nearly skipped a beat, what if it were a dog? "Hello? Is anybody there?" He called softly, wagging his tail gently.

Gar trotted up and down the road, being careful to keep quiet. He saw a trash can and ate some food, not that there really was any. He sniffed the air and didn't smell anyone near so he just sat down and looked at the ground.

Aimon

Male ~ 4 Years ~ Loner ~ Tags; Open

Aimon was pacing down an alleyway, smelling of rot and filth, busy rats and roaches taking their time feasting on whatever remains of the dead corpses, it made him gag a little bit, he often had a habit of "double checking" to ensure they weren't undead corpses, he had to protect himself and most importantly his sister that was trailing closely behind him. It was a rather cool day, the low clouds blanketed the sky, covering the sun which was quite a relief for him, Evanna was most probably as thankful as he was.
As they trot their way through the small town, Aim had caught a rather strange scent, almost like a musky raccoon scent. He puts his muscles to a halt and surveys the area, his mouth slightly open and ears pinned up rotating, attempting to pick up movement.
Suddenly a scrawny raccoon bursts out of a large rubbish bin and takes off down the street with what looks to be a rat, "Eve? Do raccoons eat rats?" He questioned her sounding dumbfounded.

Evanna

Evanna and Aimon were trotting at a fairly moderate pace when Aimon came to a sudden stop, she had taken a few steps in front of him when she had realized, as she stared back at him as if to question "why the hold up?" a sudden loud crash of a rubbish bin falling over quickly nicked her attention in front of her to a small raccoon running down the street with something in it's mouth, as she listened to her dumbfounded brother, she believed that only the smartest of raccoons could catch a rat since they're so alike in nature. "Only the smartest" She softly replied whilst her nerves tried to calm down, she took the lead to continue on but quickly overtaken by her over-protective brother. "I'm very capable of protecting myself, ya know!" She huffed, a blunt response was all she got. "Forward and quickly, you never know what could of heard that". She rolled her honey colored eye's and shook her creamy fur, continuing on the trail... "Forward, wherever that leads."She scoffed.

Autumn I ♀ I Sniper

Autumn woke up to eat her half, and she ate it up hungrily, though it didn't fill her stomach. She let out a heavy sigh and turned her head back at him when he spoke, only to tilt her head in confusion. "Who's Wisteria? You mean the pretty-eyed dog? She went for a brief walk. She said she'll be back soon. Better be soon.." Autumn sighed, voicing her anticipation to hunt for breakfast. Well, she now knew one dog's name. Hopefully she'll learn the others soon. She understood, for these dogs hardly knew each other.

Allspice perked an ear up, and realized Sniper was awake. She lifted her head as he gobbled down the meat that she had already taken some bites of, although it was a few nibbles at the most. She wasn't hungry. The knot in her stomach prevented her from being hungry, anyway.
She stood up and stretched her limbs out. Sitting around for such a long period of time hadn't been a normal occurrence for her as of lately.
So... how's the whole, "apocalypse" thing working for you guys? Pretty strange, huh? She muttered jokingly, trying to lift the mood a little despite the eerie atmosphere and Wisteria's absence.

[Sorry for being a little inactive! I've been stressed with schoolwork and tests and all that, but Thanksgiving Break started today, so should be a little more active now!]
