Nico glances across at the two younger scavengers before looking at Arlo, who was till beside him "you should go talk to someone Arls" he comments, glancing around at the other dogs. When he looks back at Arlo he almost laughs at the look he was getting "you know what i mean" he says, bumping him playfully on the side, grinning at the sound of protest that that gets from Arlo

Arlo steered at Nico blankly when he said that he should 'go talk to someone' besides the fact he could hardly talk either way, he didnt want to pester anyone, especially since if he did try talk, they wold have to decipher his stutters words and broken sentences, Nico had grown up with them so he had learnt to do just that very well, the others however often didnt get what he was trying to say or took it the wrong way. He didnt want to cause trouble for anyone like that.

The female had quietly fallen asleep in the corner of a room, where she managed to sleep undisturbed by others, Hazel gently fluttered awake, raising her head and letting out a yawn. She stretched widely, before getting to her paws. "Still a dog, I guess," She muttered in distaste as she gave one look at her feet and hands used to be.

the giant offwhite dog slept curled up under a piece of fallen and rotten wood. the smell was horrible, but it felt like some sort of comfort in these cruel days. their muscles twitched under their pelt, fur rippling as it continued. in a sudden movement from the stillness in their corner, they shot their muzzle over to their shoulder to chew on a flea biting at them. after a minute of biting, they managed to kill it. yawning some, they slowly rose to their feet. due to their breed, Epione was one of the largest dogs there, but more of a gentle giant than anything. with another yawn and a small squeak, they decided to go see what their mentor was up to. they stepped out from their corner, scanning the main den for grace.

he suddenly frowned, feeling stupid for asking. his stopped wagging and he sat down on the rotting wooden floor, tilting his head slightly. "Oh man.. that really stinks, i'm sorry.. i guess i'm lucky enough to be one of the dogs not getting those."

The young male yawned and turned to the female. "Good morning", he said as cheerfully as a grumpy,
tired dog could. He admired how cheery Flora was this early. He definitely craved coffee. Paws did prevent a lot of good things...
Oh how he longed for thumbs!
"You don't have to be so formal", he chimed, "You can just call me Val - ya know?", his voice trickled through the morning air like syrup on warm pancakes.

He thought on his alpha duties. He should definitely wake up far more than he was. "Who is on shift at the railcar post?", he asked Flora, genuinely curious. He really felt the sudden urge to patrol the immediate area - not having had much luck in finding himself a decent morsel of food.

Flora looked at her alpha. I believe it is either Atlas or Orion, I’m not entirely sure, I haven’t seen either one of them yet this morning. Flora wasn’t quite sure who was on guard. All I know for sure is I’m on night patrol. Flora said cheerfully. She looked back at Ally. Well I better go see what Orion is doing, get some conformation you know? And with that she skipped back up stairs, tripping halfway through and face planting. That’s what you get when you skip up the stairs. Ouch she mumbled and hurried the rest of the way. She walked down the hallway to Orion’s room and peeked inside.
