He shifted his paws to get more comfortable and looked up at the heavy root above their head that were blocking them from the rest of the world. "Um Demon? Yah he's part of the pack but I don't know him to well." Aster gave a half smile, he might not be the best team player but he was proud of his position in the pack. After all a cowardly wolf like himself probably should have been made an omega instead. The smile left his muzzle as a dark thought crossed his mind. He had just been caught helping a loner, what if he was demoted? Would they call into question his loyalty to his pack? He would never dream of doing anything to endanger them, he loved his pack even if he didn't love to be around them. But would he have the courage to stick up for himself? Probably not. Aster sighed, there was nothing for it now, he guessed he would just have to wait and see when he got back to the pack. "Upsilon are scouts." He replied simply then stopped, "Um, I don't believe I even caught your name?" He asked, realizing he had been doing what seemed like an awful lot of talking about himself and knew almost nothing about her. "I-I mean you d-don't have to t-tell me if y-you don't want to." He added hastily, not wanting to offend her or make her feel like he was intruding.

She nodded slowly, taking note of what he told her. Fae was filled with a new interest in pack life and had a lot of questions, but did not want to come off rude. After all, he had already confronted her for straying past the borders. She had no room to intrude further.
"Oh, no, it's fine. My name is Fae." She reassured him. "Truly, there's not much to me. I have not many secrets, don't feel like you are being too intrusive." She shuffled her paws closer to her body, tucked neatly like a tall, slender cat. "And your name? I thought I heard it but I can't seem to recall."

Aster
"Oh! That's a p-pretty name. I'm called A-aster." He said. For some reason he felt better now that they knew each others names. His red tail curled around his paws guilty. "I-I'm sorry f-for all of t-this, Fae. I-I shouldn't h-have confronted you. M-my job is observe and r-raport, n-never engage. I-it was an accident, t-there was a s-snake and I-I stumbled into y-you a-and now we're b-both in t-trouble." He slumped onto the dirt wall trying to get a hold of himself, it would do little good to dispare about their predicament now. "Y-you must b-be very brave, y-you don't seemed scared a-at all."

Fae gave a slight smile. "Thank you," She replied, lifting her head slightly. She respected that he was treating her like his equal. Pack wolves tended to come off very aggressive in their nature, at least in her previous experiences.
"I apologize for straying too far. I knew I was near the pack territory but wasn't aware how close I really was." Fae responded apologetically. "Hah, thanks. I wouldn't call me brave. I guess I am just well-rehearsed in these situations. I've accidentally stuck my nose where it doesn't belong more than once, I suppose." She gave a slight, grim laugh, though her tone was steady.

Demon

Much cooler headed than he was a moment ago he saw no further need to stay the hell hound any longer and shifted to his normal wolf form. The loner amd Aster had made their way to a hiding spot, but he could still smell them. He followed the scent for a moment then met the tree they his under with large roots only blocking an entrance. The brute sighed deeply for he new he would be scourned for not returning with Aster as you requested. He shook his head not concerned. Demon could hear aster say he did not wish to return unless it was his own choice. Demon chuckled "coward." He said quietly. "Either way Aster the alpha has been injured. She teater totters between life and Death. Every ones presence has been requested back at camp. She expecrs to see you home." He paused for a moment satiafied with what he said but next he said "Oh and Aster. I will not tell our Alphess the reason you didnt return is cause of you helping a loner. You will." Demon thought he would want to linger. Both Aster and himaelf were off of pack territory, which means no support, Aster could be cowardly but Demon couldn't leave them both alone. "Your away from pack territory. Please becareful. The she-wolf your with may or may not be strong enough to save you if a loner chooses to help you. Yet, i shant be to far Aster. Please call for me if you need assistance." With that he walked away shifting to chase a scent he picked up.

[Foxxy-Fearyn]

Fae's ears pricked forward at the sound of leaves crunching under heavy paw steps. The expression on her face remained steady and unreadable as she listened to Demon speak. So, here he was. The typical, aggressive, arrogant pack-wolf. Her fiery eyes lifted to the roots that protected them overhead. He threatens Aster, yet asks him to be careful? She thought to herself. Fae suppressed a sigh and her gaze flicked back the Aster, though she could not see him well in the gloom.
"If you are going back, I will come with you." She said. "I don't want them to punish you because of me. I will apologize to your leader myself." The black she wolf cringed inwardly. Oh, what a mess this was. Large groups of wolves made her panic, but she couldn't bring herself to know that even if she escaped, he would return home and get his head bitten off. Metaphorically, hopefully.

Noelle

Watching as they both walked into the medical den she turned round and heading off into the woods to clear her head. knowing there was nothing she could do till they were both healed. Letting out a howl to say she was leaving the pack territory for a while she slipped through the trees and headed to her safe place. After a few minutes of running she stopped at the edge of a lake, moving to the water he took a drink then layed down.

Aster
He was about to ask Fea what she meant by sticking her nose were it didn't belong when Demon spoke. Aster was shivering despite himself at the note of disapproval in his packmate's voice and took in a sharp intake of breath at the news of their alpha. Alusia on the brink of death? Impossible! She was their alpha, he couldn't imagine anything being able to ever touch the leader of such a powerful pack, "w-whah?" He gasped then flinched at the mention the of having to confess. Was Demon planning on black mailing him? It sort of sounded like it. Aster closed his eyes tightly as though trying to block out a bad dream. He didn't move until they could hear the sound of Demon's retreat and Fea began to talk. "Y-you w-what?" He asked in disbelief. "B-but w-what if-. W-why w-would y-you do t-that for me?"
Aster paused, looking gloomy, "I-i c-can't g-guarantee y-your safety. I-I can't even g-guarantee my own." Slowly light began filtering in as the root began to move. Aster stayed pressed against the wall, wishing fiercely that this whole thing Would just blow over. Still, he was strangely comforted by the idea of not facing his pack alone.

Lenora
She awoke with a start and looked around, confused at the sound of other wolves pressed on around her. It took the healer a moment to rember it was West and Alusia. She looked over at them as she got up, doing her best to not disturb them she began getting out some herbs for them when they woke up. Looking outside she hadn't napped that long which was good, she still had work to finish. "More stocking, joy." She muttered sarcastically under her breath.

[Foxxy-Fearyn]

Fae watched the roots shift, taking note to ask him about it another time.
"I don't know, "She replied honestly, "Maybe because you're one of the few good wolves I've met and I don't want to carry the guilt." Fae clenched her jaw and took in a slow breath, clearing her mind. She felt her heartbeat thud harder in her narrow chest, though she was quite the master at maintaining a level expression.

Frowning as she heard other voices, turning and following them she stopped just short. Hiding in some bushes she watched the scene before her. Asher, Demon and a loner? Walking out of the bushes she decided to speak. "What is going on here?" She questioned. Since the Alpha was injured she stepped up her game as beta.
