this is the grove, it has been the home to unicorns and dragons of all different shapes and sizes for millennia. after the great war with each other, unicorns and dragons decided to make peace and create a haven to live in- the grove. the grove is a wonderful place full of tall trees for the dragons to climb and lots of prey for them to eat. there is a clean water lake where they go to drink and a beautiful pasture for the vegetarian unicorns to feed on. to symbolise their peace, the queen of the unicorns and the king of the dragons decided to have children. now the grove is under the protection of a new hybrid queen.

there are many places to go in the grove,
here are some of them.

a clean water lake. this is their main drinking sorce.the water is
shallow so there is hardly any chance of drowning.Also, downstream, unicorns and dragons go to wash since the water is deeper.

the pasture fields. Unicorns go here to eat and be in the open. It is a good place to run around and teach foals to walk. It is also a good place for unicorns and dragons to hang out.

the hunting grounds. this is where dragons go to catch their lunch.

the tall trees. the tall trees are where the dragons sleep.

Queen's flowers this is where the royal family sleeps and holds their meetings.

unicorn's house. This is where the unicorn's sleep.

Infirmary. This is where unicorns and dragons go when they're hurt. The sunlight coming from out of the trees is ment to help heal people.

Hylla's eyes fluttered open. It was a beautiful day. The sun was beaming through the trees.
Hylla got up and spread her wings. that feels better she thought. Hylla walked down towards the clean water lake. Damn she was thirsty! After a few minutes walking, she heard the familiar splosh of the waterfall. Hylla ran towards it only stopping a few meters from the water's edge. She bent her head down to the water and drank. It was cold but not freezing. A good sign that it's safe to drink. She raised her head, spread her wings and took off. She flew over the entire grove. Nothing seemed to be in chaos so she flew to the pasture fields. Hylla saw a good place to eat and set down. She lowered her head and ate.

Melik awoke just placing her claw like feet on the soft rocky dirt. "lets hope today will be worth getting up..." she growled. she trotted to the pasture and laid down grooming her bird like colorful wings. "yeah i guess today is beautiful" she said in delight and bathed her wings in the warm sunlight. she looked at the blue sky and smiled. The sky was clear and sunny. Melik giggled and rested her head on the soft but sharp bladed grass.

Cynthia was lying in the shadows of the pasture, wings carefully folded by her body. She was watching Hylla, on alert. If anything came near to threaten her - which it never did, but Cynthia would do this regardless - she would be straight on the case.

Lotus was in the pasture, stood a little ways away from Spark. 'Come on, Spark. You can do it.' She coaxed, watching the foal struggling to stand upright. He put one hoof forwards and began unsteadily making his way over to Lotus. Spark was a late bloomer - he'd not wanted to leave the safety of his mother at all, and it had taken him a while to learn how to stand on his own.

Hylla raised her head and saw that there were now a lot more people in the field. She saw a few foals taking their first steps and some dragons in flight. Hylla noticed one dragon away from the crowd. Melik. She was hard to miss with her brightly coloured wings. Hylla trotted over to her and lay down.
" Hey." She said warmly.

Red Ashes awoke from his sleep. He got up and stretched out his body. Red munched on some grass for a bit , before he went about his duties as a guard. He glanced over and saw Hylla. Red snorted and continued to go on a small patrol.
