the thin femora weaved her way through the tall reeds, the weeds whacking her feathery pelage with strong blows, though, she scarcely seemed to observe the plants. her sharp nose was following a pungent aroma that flooded in her maw; watermint. she felt slightly guilty that she was trespassing, but pushed down all bitter misgivings. she needed this herb, unlike in spring and summer, her pack lands didn't grow plants such as goldenrod, chamomile, or even poppyseeds. giving her pelage a shake after she emerged from the fuzzy reeds, she stalked downside the river and lapped at the cool fluids, before moving on. the mint would be around here somewhere, and then she could leave the hot, foreign lands.

casting an affectionate glance at the small pup, he nodded his crown steadily. "it's never too early for a pup to learn!" gray vocalized, meaning for it to be a compliment towards the molly. he arched his spine upward, working out his tense muscle in a slow gate, hoping the young pup would not struggle to keep up. gray's own legs were several lengths larger than luca's, his heritage mostly agile and nimble. his tail swished the ground softly, signaling the appearance of prey ahead. it was pigs; and their young, which made an easy snag for two hunting, hungry wolves. lowering his mass towards the ground, not allowing his stomach to brush the foliage, he made his way closer. as he waited for a young to separate itself from the grown pig, his maw began to water at the thought of a fresh-kill. once he felt the distance was far enough, he bunched his hind legs and launched out of the cover, snatching the pig by it's neck and swiftly ending its life. proudly, he ambled his way back towards sonya and luca, his orbs gleaming.

the zeta caught him by surprise, throwing him off with all her strength in her hind legs. her jaws connected with his flank, and he let out an outraged exclamation as he landed awkwardly. before he could regain his balance and stand up, the she-wolf was on him. her claws dug into his shoulder fur as she snapped at him, causing him to jerk his cranium backwards, his orbs wide at her aggression. after she had recognized the wolf she tussled with, nikkita growled and paced a few lengths away from him. huffing indignantly, he ran his tongue over the bite in his side, his own eyes blazing with anger. "and haven't you learned not to sleep on the job?" alakane spat back, wincing slightly as rose to his paws, and ambled away from the angry she-wolf.

"well next time i'm not doing a job, i'll let the pups at you!" alakane snorted, his irritation fading into annoyance. he lashed his tail, his large lobes pinned against his cranium as he reclined further away from nikkita, and closer to his den. he licked his flank slowly, the blood already dulled to a trickle; yet he couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "at least i take care of my pack-mates and don't hurt them." the brute sighed, lonely once more; he had only wanted someone to socialize with, and instead he was met with tooth and fang over waking someone up. silently, he padded inside his den, curling up. he tucked his tail over his nose and shut his eyes, willing sleep to overcome him.

Ash awoke his wet,cold nest leaving Faye. He noticed that Faye was nuzzling him earlier. He didn't pay much attention to her though. He didn't really like Faye as a lover but a friend. He walked to the woods hoping to find a small mouse to chomp on for breakfast. He stumbled apon a quite large rabbit slowly killing it he put it in his mouth. Not eating it but holding it there to eat in a quiet place that the pack would not notice him eating at. He was hungry and it just honestly didn't matter to him anymore. He decided he would eat in a different territory Faye would have smelled him if he ate in winter so he carried the bunny away. He stumbled across the fall lands and a small cave he found, he lay against the cool rocks that were rather comforting he licked the bunny and finally after licking it for a while ate it. Leaving a little bit he kept In his mouth for Faye or Ghost if he accidentally did stumble upon either of them.

The zeta came out of her den, a rather large spot for one wolf. It was wedged underneath two rocks that leaned against each other. Jessica started moving towards the middle of camp, hopefully not interacting with any wolf in the process. She was thinking about possibly going hunting later and surely not returning with a rabbit. She was thinking about something larger, like a buck of elk. Her head hung shoulder length as if ready for an attack at moments notice. The wolf that wasn't going to happen at the moment but better safe than sorry.

"Did you see that Luca?! Now that's what I'm talking about." The small fea exclaimed after Ghost killed the prey. Sonya's dark eyes gleamed with awe as she trotted happily over to the fea. "Nice job, Alpha! That was awesome!" She glanced back at Luca, checking if he was still there. *All I could hunt on my own is a big rabbit, which should probably be alright if it's for teaching pups, right?* Looking back to face Ghost, Sonya wagged her tail slightly.

Arakuta flicked her tail and flinched her shoulder as a bug landed on her shoulder, the wolf brought her head around and snapped at the small buzzing creature, "Darn bugs..." She muttered as she trotted back, further into Autumn Pack territory. Arakuta took in all the scents she could walked, hoping to find a familiar scent. Arakuta jumped mid-air as a pack of hogs barreled out of the bushes, screaming in terror. Arakuta's eyes widened in surprise and she lunged at the closest one and quickly snapped its neck before taking off after another one. She tackled the second pig into a bush, both of them tumbling through the brush loudly, snarling and squealing feeling the air. During the struggle, Arakuta picked up her Alpha scent, 'Grey scared them..' She thought as she latched her fangs into the pig's back.

when the sun rose up at the start of the day, it was when cordelia would rise too. it would depend on where she was going, where she was or who she was to meet. being one of the only delta's in the pack meant she had to work harder to get all messages out to the other packs, even though it meant walking through the high snow, through the fields of flowers avoiding the tall grass in her favorite pack territory and swimming in the river when time permitted.

today she was awaiting her either one of her alphas. normally she went to ash for any work but today seemed like more of a faye day. she didn't see anyone of the alphas, probably tucked away in their dens to avoid this never ending cold. cordelia had already exited her den, perhaps leviathan would be of service to just help the delta find who she was looking for.

trudging through the snow, the pack went on normally. though the small pup cordelia hadn't quite met yet was nowhere to be seen.
hopefully tucked away too, a pup that small should never have to deal with the cold this young. moving on she passed the theta den. ghost again nowhere to be seen. yet a theta was normally away collecting herbs for medicinal purposes.

stepping into an unfortunately deep patch of freshly fallen snow, cordelia whined as the plush hit her lower muzzle. "bloody hel-aye!" quickly getting out, cordelia looked to the sky before continuing onward. while she walked to a familiar rock that saturated heat above ground, she thought of things she needed to do. cordy hadn't been anywhere near the summer territory for quite some time, from overhearing other conversations from other pack leaders, the summer pack no longer had an alpha pair, or a beta pair. digging her paws into the rough stone she made her way to the top, where the surface was smooth and warm and luckily all the snow had slipped off already.

being the beta of a pack meant responsibility to newton. from when the sun rose he was the second in command, and until the sun set he was the second in command. and from his natural position he had the freedom of leaving pack grounds and into the territory where flowers grew like no tomorrow.

the edge of the territory was met with changing colors and tropical forests and snow so cold it would rattle you until you took your last breath. today was a day where the beta of spring took off in a want to explore his territory again. newton hadn't done this in months, and was lacking the feeling of adventure, though he would never admit that. the charming wolf broke out into intervals of running, jogging and walking.

feeling tenser once he had gotten closer to the border, newt ducked into some of the shrubbery as he heard a fae's scream with the familiar squeal of pigs being killed. taking a step forward, newt stood tall as a pig began to run toward him, before quickly jumping out of the beta's way. he didn't bother chasing it, he had eaten fully the morning he left camp.

walking closer to the border a figure was visibly seen. "hello? i'm beta newton of the spring pack, and i would presume you don't belong to the spring pack." he spoke with confidence. the wolf was probably an autumn phi, he noted they got close to the borders quickly.

as an upsilon, life was easy for magnus. the everyday grind of spying and protecting was normal for him. the terrain was normal for him, the colored leaves always scattered around on the ground where cool breezes came and went. magnus, today was out scouting. he hadn't done much spy work, since no new delta's had come into the fold of the pack to gather information and spread messages. or in his opinion, rumors.

giving up on scouting, which was met with the sights of many prey, he found the scent trails of ghost and sonya. what could they be doing out here? he asked himself. smirking at the possibilities he could find out here. then with another sniff he smelt the pup, luca. perhaps a hunting demonstration.

walking up behind sonya, he laughed as she made loud comments about how ghost was hunting. her tail was fervently wagging. "sorry to intrude on this little hunting party, but i've come just to watch." the upsilon rolled his shoulders and moved himself around so that he was laying upright on the ground, at luca's level of eye sight.

Jessica figured it was possibly time for a hunt, wanting to excerise and also get a bite to eat. Making her way through snow, no one home, and she's off now. (Doo doo doo doo) time to stretch those legs and get the blood pumping, and then she wouldn't do anything for the rest of the unless she needed to. Maybe she needed to organize a training day with everyone or at least start pulling be aside. That could help and make sure that everyone is prepared, just in case. Trudging through the snow, the wolf was making her way towards the spring area. She knew larger elk liked to cross paths there.
