Akiris glanced at Medello, huffing a puff of icy mist from her nose, and she paced around the nurse's den, being super bored as usual. She plucked some of her feathers, shaking off any snow that had fallen onto herself.

Meridia had flown for over an hour and rested in a sunny glade and sunbathed on a large flat rock. She listened to the soft sounds of the forest-- birds chirping, a few frogs croaking, and the buzzing of a plump bumblebee that hovered over a nearby flower. She opened her eyes and took a deep breath and sighed, she would have to go back now, she was the Alpha and had many responsibilities she needed to tend to. She got up and stood, shaking herself out and stretching like a cat, her wings straight up and extended before walking down to the small stream in the glade. She drank deeply and then crouched and jumped into the air, beating her shimmering wings to gain height and soared over the treetops. She spotted a couple lone deer and dove, she landed on one deer and shredded its spine before leaping to the other and latching her jaws around its neck, killing both instantly. She was starving and ate at a quick pace and then began on her other deer, she finished both and left some meat on the carcasses to lend a hand to the local wolves of the area. She flew back to the stream to wash off her claws and snout before launching into the air and flying off. She flew towards her home at a swift pace and kept an eye on the area around her as her mind wandered, but she was snapped back to attention when she saw a dark shape in the blue skies. She looked closer and lurched to a stop midair, and was shocked to see the last dragon she had expected-- Alduin-- and he was alive. She had fought him when he tried to usurp her and take command of the clan years ago by force, and protected her fellow dragons. She felt a rising wave of dread and sadness and pain before diving into the trees to remain hidden from him as he flew overhead, frozen in place, barely breathing as he swept overhead, the trees swaying and quivering with the speed of his flight. She waited half an hour before flying home again, though at a much quicker pace and skidded to a stop outside of her tree just as Razor returned with the fish and trotted around the perimeter "Where did you go? Oh, you got yourself some breakfast, you are dismissed from your guard duty, I am sorry I hadn't done this beforehand." She said in a slightly panicked and hurried tone with an apologetic look at the guard and shifted on her talons. She had nearly been seen by him, she was scared and wasn't afraid to admit it, she knew their next meeting wouldn't be pleasant. She rustled her wings and began towards her trees' entrance and flew to her balcony where she normally sat and saw Flora, "Flora, please come here quickly, I need something that will soothe my stomach and help me calm down." She said with nervous tone as her talons began shaking slightly, she hadn't been this terrified in a long time and she hated her weakness, it made her look like an awful leader.

[ some really important info;; Meridian and Alduin were friends a long time ago and they grew to be closer friends and ended up liking each other and falling in love. They hadn't had hatchlings at all but they understood each other more than they did themselves and they were almost inseparable. One day Alduin turned dark and tried to capture the clan as his own, fighting and killing many on his way to Meridia's tree to take over and make her his queen to rule. He ended up getting there after quite a bit of time and was surprised to find Meridia was expecting him and he got aggressive with her and ended up hurting her badly. This snapped her and she fought with hate and such viciousness because of him harming her and shattering her heart and she nearly killed him. She had loved him so much and was about to give him the killing blow and hesitated, Alduin used the pause and knocked her out and fled the scene. When Meridia had awoken she immediately took care of her clan and healed them but things were still tense. She had sent many scouting and warrior parties to look for Alduin but he had vanished, leaving many to believe he had perished from his wounds, though some were still skeptical. Meridia has seemed to have gotten over her past but she really hasn't, and when she is told someone thinks they saw him she gets scared and feels a deep pain, but when she see him with her own eyes she was terrified and thought that he would kill her if she were seen. Since this has happened, she is extremely wary about finding love again and having someone like her, and she will force herself to not like or care for any dragon ever again, yet this may change with some time and care. ]

When Fate had slipped out he had waited before crouching and prepared to follow her, wanting to protect his Alpha from any harm that may come to her but realized he must stay. He grumbled in irritation and closed his midnight wings and began pacing. He hated it when she left, it made him on edge and feel as if he were slacking on his duty to protect her and be her close advisor. He hopped down to the main floor of the tree and picked his head out, looking around as his breath made tiny puffs of steam in the frigid, crisp air and he stepped out. He saw Fate in the distance and let out a small sigh of relief, at least she wasn't hurt and was returning early safely. He felt as if he needed to protect her and make sure she was safe and well and enjoyed his task and made sure it happened, he didn't think Fate really knew how much it mattered to him but it didn't bother him to much. When she landed he stood tall and bowed to her, "It is good to see you are safe and doing well, you made me concerned when you left." He said honestly, it had made him a little anxious that she flew out without really informing him of her intentions.


Alduin / male / unknown / rogue / no clan / tags: open

Alduin flew over the lush forests of the Mushroom Wood, scanning the ground below him as he flew for prey, his wings booming with each beat. He didn't care that he was banished from the clan and it's territories but still roamed them, occasionally seeing scouts and hunting patrols. Many times they had seen him and took one look and bolted out of terror of the massive wyvern with the color of the darkest reaches of the oblivion. He enjoyed seeing their terror and fear of him and the few who tried to stand up to him he accepted their challenges and fought. He would drag out the fight and wound them little by little until they were to exhausted to continue and he would end them messily. He continued flying overhead reached the edge of the Frigid Dwellers territory and landed in the clearing with a soft thud despite his large size and he looked around with piercing crimson eyes. He knew something was near him and he sensed it and was contemplating using his Thu'um to spot them out but decided against using his energy for it. He turned around in a circle, the tip of his tail twitching in ire and concentration.

[ sorry it took so long for me to reply, life got hectic and I was busy with taking care of kittens and nursing them. I hope these are okay, I have read most of the last five pages I've missed. ^^ ]

The airborne dragon continued to idly spin until he finally let out a growl of distain from not seeing any prey. Of course his mood wasn't actually dampened- flying in general was a small joy, and while the chilled woods were cold they could never match the comfortable rush of the the wind higher up in the sky. Kokyu had started to drift along unintentionally with the breeze for a few moments before his concentration had moved to and locked on to a dark shape below, one that certainly resembled a dragon. With that the black and white reptile dipped down to investigate. He kept his mouth shut as he lazily circled above the curious dragon, and though his overall posture was slacking a bit his eyes were sharply glaring below him. Whoever his guy was, Kokyu didn't think him to be part of either clan.

He flicked pushed the bones of his most recent meal to the side, he nodded his head as Meridia dismissed him from his shift. He glanced, something was off she seemed rather worried. He craned his neck into the entrance of the alpha's tree, making sure not to fully walk into the Alpha's private property. "Excuse me? Is there something wrong, you seem quite disturbed?" He questioned. He wasn't as tired as he was before, and he was more aware. He bowed his head while speaking, he didn't want to undermind her by accident.

Flora suddenly snapped out of her daze and heard her lord's shaky voice. "Y-yes, Meridia? I mean, my queen?" Flora quickly wrapped Meridia's breakfast in the leaf and walked over to meet Meridia at the balcony. She could smell that something was tensing her. "Is something wrong, my queen? Maybe your breakfast can calm you?" She dropped the laid the food down to unwrap it.

Medello lifted his heavy and drowsy head from his nap. The sun woke him up and his tongue impulsively tasted the air for breakfast. He stretched and yawned before sitting up and heading to the food pile. He grabbed a squirrel and headed back to his den to devour the small meal. He never ate too much, most of his food he saved for ailing patients. Medello watched as he dragged crystal clear beads of water from the ground. One by one, he combined the beads into one big drink, and tossed it into his mouth. He sat back down and awaited any visitors who needed examining or just sought medical help. His job was boring since Mushroom Wood was typically peaceful, but wounds from larger prey was the main reason dragons visited.

Thrax returned back with a smile on his face. Over his shoulder was a plump fox, and in his mouth were two white rabbits. He may have been gone too long, as his feet felt numb with cold, and frost began to accumulate on them. He glided down to the food pile to place his catches down. He finally felt the need to eat and grabbed one of the rabbits to eat at his den.

Meridia began pacing some and stopped herself with a soft growl and walked to the edge to Razor and looked down at him before wincing. "I-I think I am fine, I hope I am not making you upset in any way." She said meekly as she ducked her head in apology. She looked over her shoulder and then back at him, her tail flicking constantly in anxiety, "It's just.... something that came up from someone-- something I saw, I am sorry." She said as she shifted on her talons, she wasn't ever this anxious and she hated it but her past made her emotions show easily. She never thought Alduin would be flying or better yet alive, she thought she had killed him. She shook her head at the thoughts, no, she wouldn't think of that now, not when her dragons needed her the most. She rustled her wings and when Flora glided over she sighed in relief and gave her a weary smile, "Thank you, I am sorry I am a total wreck... He is back..." She said softly, her voice dropping to a pained and frightened whisper so only she would be able to her. She had told Flora almost everything about the event from her past because she trusted the dragoness the most, and because she was her advisor as well, and she knew she wouldn't tell a soul.

Alduin grumbled and caught the scent of a rabbit and he turned in the direction and he pinpointed its location in a burrow close by. He paused before he struck, fast as an adder as he clamped down on a tiny furry object hidden in some tall grass and swallowed it whole. He was hungry from going for two weeks without eating and would eat almost anything. He was scanning the area around him until he caught the slight sound of something soaring through the air and an unfamiliar scent. His head shot up as he saw the dragon overhead and he bunched his hindquarters and shot into the air after him, a snarl on his lips as he beat his wings as he gained height. He flew after him and cut him off, "Wo los hi, lir, Who are you, worm." He growled, the question more of a command as he pinned the odd dragon with a dark and seething look. He wanted to know who this male was and what he was, he didn't recall ever seeing something shaped like him and he studied him. He at first spoke in his native tongue, Dovahzul but had to speak in the common tongue for the dragon facing him to understand. He hovered in front of him, his wings beating and his scarred shoulder's muscles rippling with each wingbeat as he stayed aloft.

[ it's nice to see some fellow dovahkiin, I am stoked about the new Morrowind game. I hope this is alright, really tired from lack of sleep. xD. I remember seeing this a long time ago and don't remember where but all credit to the animator for giving us this beautiful gif-- ]

Flora's eyes widened and her jaw dropped subtly. Him? ...Alduin? Her expression shifted a little from worried to terrified. If he was back, then she knew what she had to do. She nodded her head a little and thought about what would happen if he returned. Her duty as a High Assistant felt even more important. She loved Meridia to death, and she would protect her from anything and anyone. Even if she was shy, that didn't mean she didn't fight. No one is going to hurt her. No one. It is part of my job, after all.
