"I don't think the two Clan Leaders will trust us enough to let us help with construction." Jaspar tapped his claws on a rock beside him quietly, musing.
"After all, they might think that we'll strike them when they're weakest, and that's why we're offering to help build." he rubbed one of his horns, his brown scales shining dimly and warmly in the sunlight.
"The best thing to do, I believe, is to simply hunt for them, and continue to drop prey off throughout the Winter. Maybe then, we'll be able to truly show how sorry we are so jumping to such harsh conclusions."Glacia/ Ice Clan/ Leader/ Tags; Crystal and Nimbus.
Glacia, at the corner of her eye, noticed a small rabbit. She seamlessly ended it's life, not wasting any time in her hunting. She then kept on quietly traveling across the forest, her thoughts trailing as her paws quietly crunched on the fallen, colorful leaves.
I shall find a few more things, then return to Shadow Clan with the others. We don't want to be out too late, but I also want to bring a good amount back. We need to get as much food as we can before Shadow Clan faces the Big Freeze. Glacia kept her tail high, not wanting it to trail across the ground. Not only would it make sound, but it would also taint her beautiful scales with mud. Her paws were quite drenched in the muddy rain, but Wildfire was occupying all of her energy for frustration and disgust.
My Clan has always thrived at this time of year. But, with the decline in food, and having to help out Shadow Clan, I worry this Winter will be quite difficult.Blaze/ Fire Clan/ Deputy/ Tags; Aliuviual and Altea.
"And you expect me to trust you so easily??" Blaze questioned hotly, keeping a close eye on the Shadow Dragon. It seemed that she could disappear, which would be very dangerous if they decided to attack. Not to mention, it was very suspicious that she made herself invisible for a short moment. What was she trying to do?
"You could just as easily be a spy for one of the Clans, trying to penetrate our Camp's security by acting friendly." he observed, eyeing the food.
"Not to mention, this prey could be poisoned." Blaze hissed softly after saying these words, a light trail of smoke coming from his nostrils. His lava-like underbelly rippled quickly in a strange, hypnotic motion, showing that he was quite agitated and on-guard. The Fire Clan deputy unsheathed his claws, bearing his fangs at Aliuvial and Altea.
"Give me one good reason why I should believe you two. Tell me why I should believe strange, foreign dragons right after we just attacked Ice Clan and Shadow Clan. Maybe then, you'll have a chance of getting out of here with your scales and wings still attached." Blaze challenged, his eyes bright, and tone demanding.
Vex/ Shadow Clan/ Warrior/ Tags; Sparrow Hawk.
Vex laid his wing over Sparrow Hawk, trying to bring her more comfort. They were both very shaken up and woeful, more than they both wanted to tell each other.
"Good exercise always seems to clear your mind." Vex agreed,
"And, with the rain, we would be able to try and control your electricity powers more. You have a good opportunity here." He offered kindly, pressing his body closer to her.
Dactyl The Resilient/ Shadow Clan/ Elder/ Tags; Spirit.
Dactyl shut his eyes tightly, a cold sweat trickling down his forehead.
She's too young to know what I've been through. I don't want to put such images of horribleness in her mind. He told himself. However, Spirit was onto him. If he were to play it off now, which he was positive he couldn't, it would only make the dragonet more curious and worried. However, as soon as the fire started, he noticed that it had ceased. Two dragons seemed to be fighting in the distance, which were Whisper and Wildfire.
"Wait, do you hear that?" Dactyl queried softly, almost too weak and afraid to speak.
"It seems as if it's stopped."Arctic/ Ice Clan/ Warrior/ Tags; Farthing and Frost Wind.
As Arctic began to make his way over to Whisper, he saw that she had met eyes with him for a moment, before speaking to the two medics. As soon as he had been spotted by her, Whisper was flying off, too quickly for him to even fully comprehend it. However, as her wingbeats echoed in his ears, he stopped moving. He didn't even care what Quarenix was saying to him. The Ice warrior paused for a very, very long moment, until the man couldn't hear Whisper anymore. Afterwards, he seemed to slightly break out of his dread.
S-she... Arctic found his arms feeling like all the blood had been poured out of them, and then they had been frozen in place afterwards. His head was heavy, as were his shoulders, as if his torso had been turned into stone. As his arms shook, and his body lowered, a raindrop fell at the bottom of his eyes and streaked down his face. More of these raindrops followed. He found himself completely shivering, suddenly feeling completely devoid of all energy.
She left as soon as she saw me, dammit! What am I doing wrong?! I'm trying so hard to show her I care! he sobbed, covering his head in the dirt woefully.
I'm trying so hard to show her I love her, and all I've done is scare her off! All I've done is make her feel unsafe and terrified! As the rain pelted his scales, and the thunder crackled softly above, he collapsed on the muddy ground. Arctic had lost all confidence in himself. His cuts stung as his body shivered.
What am I doing WRONG?!?Mystic Shimmer/ Loner/ Tags; None.
Mystic dived elegantly into her lake, swimming quietly to the bottom. She ate her meat beforehand, since she didn't want to try and force a wet, slimy rabbit down her throat. Now, it was time to rest for the day.
I cannot believe that some other loner just approached me like that. Doesn't he know other dragons are dangerous? I'm surprised a clan dragon hasn't killed him by now. she thought.
And yet, I'm slightly intrigued by him. There was some sort of his expression in his eyes that I didn't understand once I told him my name. Is he....hiding something from me? The loner questioned, watching as the fish above her swam.
Oh, don't be silly, Mystic. How could he know something about me, when we're obviously strangers? I shouldn't say such foolish, dangerous things. Curiosity killed the catfish, as they say.[/quote]
