A Second Chance -Dog RP- Open/Accepting!

[Boomer]

"Yeah, I will be..." said Carter, slightly nodding. He and Mary began to walk back. "Strangle you?" asked Mary, "How?" She seemed a bit confused.

[Night Troubles]

Mae shrugged, "the lil dog has some strange powers." She muttered, a slight limp in her stride. " she grew these big ol' black, slimy tentacle like things from her back and grabbed my wrists, ankles and neck with them, pinning me against the wall. She threatened to kill me I believe. " she added on. "Though I think she was just scared, hungry and tired." She frowned, " but she is adorably dangerous. " she grinned.

[Boomer]

"Oh..." whispered Mary, lowering her ears. Carter eventually led them back to the center. He put Mary in the grooming room and he led Mae to the medical ward. "I'll take a look at her." he said, "You can stay, give Mary a bath, or go home." He didn't mind what the girl chose to do.

[Night Troubles]

Mae sighed, "I'd love to stay and help, but I'm having a hard time standing so I think imma go home and take a long rest." She sighed and started to head out the door, " I'll see y'all tomorrow. " she called back, walking home too tired to skate home.

[Boomer]

"Good night." said Carter, watching her go. He put Zero on the table and muzzled her, just in case she woke up and tried to bite. He examined her and took some blood before putting her in a cage in the room. He gave her some food and water; she appeared to be okay, but he didn't want to risk her getting sick from the general population.

[Night Troubles]

Mae eventually arrived at her house, her legs feeling like they were going to give in any moment. It was almost dark out and she didn't want to get in trouble for being late home. She got out her keys and unlocked the door, being greeted by her mother from the kitchen. "Hi hun! How was you first day of work?" Her mother asked, " umm, tiring. " she called back from the stairs, heading to her room. "You arnt going to join us for dinner?" Her dad asked, heading down the stairs past her. " I'm really tired and I'm not hungry. " she muttered, walking into her room and shutting the door behind her. She set her backpack down and placed her skateboard next to it. She then flopped down on her bed and fell asleep almost immediately.

Carter looked over at Zero, hoping she'd wake up soon. He went to the grooming room and started a bath. He got Mary into the tub and cleaned her up. Mary hoped Mae was feeling okay. She stood there in her own little world, just thinking about the new dog and Mae.

Zero sleepily opened her eyes, standing up immediately when she saw she was in a cage. She began to gnaw on the bars, her eyes blazing with anger and a hint of fear. "Get me outta this metal cage!" She barked madly. She couldnt use her powers, it would hurt too much.
