[Boomer]

"Sometimes." scowled Maria, flicking her tail some, "We prefer fish over other meat. What is this, twenty questions?" Alessa stared at the Himalayan wolf, not saying a word. "It was a protective orb." said Mary quietly, "Your... boss there, was unable to hurt us because of it. She can be very dangerous if you're not careful." Her pups kicked and she winced in pain.

"I can say the same for myself." Vojak retorted and Amorette spoke up. "No, but it's better to be safe than sorry. You wouldn't have to know of any treasures on this island, would you? Are you four the only ones living here?" Mary's pain drew her attention, then she remembered the dogs sizes. They must be filled with smaller ones. Glancing over she noticed the Captains expression showing everything but happiness. It was littered with disgust and shame towards the females.

[Boomer]

Maria huffed a little. "No, there's no treasure." she said, "If there was, we would've found it and used it to upgrade our tiny hut. We're not the only ones here... we live on the outskirts of our little city, or whatever you want to call it." Mary gave a slight nod and looked over at the captain; he seemed disgusted with her and Maria. "There isn't anything wrong having puppies." she stated, "You were a puppy once." Henry watched them closely, ready to defend the twins and Alessa.

"There's everything wrong with it. When are you due?" Vojak pestered and Amorette took a seat next to him. The idea of having puppies was a good one, but she knew the life of a sailor won't suit them much. Plus she had no interest in her savior. Everything seemed beneficial to these four, they would make great additions except for the pups. From his past endurance's Vojak had made a vow to treat his passengers with respect, but a family that big wouldn't suit him. No, not one bit. Puppies. He thought bitterly.

"We'll have a look through soon, but thanks for notifying us." Amorette dipped her head and glanced back. "Who else lives here?"

[Boomer]

"Any day now..." said Henry lowly, flicking his tail some. He didn't trust these two one bit. Maria shrugged a little. "It's kinda a long story." she said, "There was a big... accident, and they died. We were out here, so we didn't get exposed to it. I doubt you'll find anything that's of any value." Mary laid down and Alessa moved behind her, still very on edge with these strangers.

"This, accident isn't going to kill us, if we go explore it?" Vojak questioned, raising a brow. Surely not.. they are still alive out here. Ruffling his coat as a cool wind swept by, the Maned Wolf turned tail and headed back into the brush. Before Amore had a change to speak, she found herself carrying herself after him. Perhaps a rude good-bye, the two had every intention in returning before they departed.

[Boomer]

"No, might just give you tetanus." muttered Maria, watching them go. Alessa sighed in relief and looked to Henry. Henry sat by Mary and kept watch. "Are you able to wait until they leave?" he asked. Mary dug her claws into the sand. "I can't really stop the labor." she whispered, "But I don't think I've gone into labor yet." Maria flicked her tail as she looked to Mary. "I'd do my best to wait." she said, "Who knows if they're puppy-nappers?" Alessa whimpered a little as she lowered herself to the ground.

The duo making their way out towards the center of the island Amorette pipped up. "So are we going to take them with us? I feel bad seeing them on such a small island."

"I was thinking that too, and they're strange, but I don't think they'll want to go with out a fight. Nonetheless!" He chimed confidently. "They could make useful aspects to our voyage." He was on the same page with Amore. If they were left here another ship may come, one a little less kind and merciful. Not that we're much better. The puppies were a big problem for him. They would have to go when of age. One way or another. "Aye, we almost there."

Coming into view, a fairly tall mountain rage opened in the brush and around it was old camps, off in the distance the two picked up on the aroma of the natives. They seemed innocent enough. After a quick run down around the structure the two collected with things they could. This ranged from fruits to herbs they had seen been used before on previous voyages, and a few bits of coin the residents left behind. The two took their collections back to the boat, and on to the ship.

[Boomer]

"I don't trust 'em..." muttered Maria. "Neither do I." said Mary quietly, "We outnumber them, sure... but we'd be risking the unborn puppies." "What do we do?" asked Henry, looking to his mate. "I suppose we'd have no choice." sighed Mary, "My biggest worry is Alessa and the pups." Maria nodded a little and looked at the ground. "This sucks..." she muttered.

On their trip back across the waters, the two discussed how they would bring the group back with them. Since the island was already cleared off they decided to trail the shoreline from the bushes to know their route back. Shortly once in view of the group Vojak lead Amorette back towards the center of the land and they both booked it, back to the four. Flying through the vegetation. Amorette started coughing and hacking, trailing behind Vojak.

The two burst through the brush in the group. Vojak became strongly aggressive, but fear flickered through his eyes. "Th-that, accerdent." He gagged, dropping his head trying to 'regain' his breath. Amorette spoke up, just as scared. "It's done some damage. The moment we neared the other villages-" She gave a look to Vojak who returned with just and equally terrified expression. "It's best if you come with us." Amorette spoke after a brief moment. "For all we know the plague will spread."
