[Boomer]

Mary sighed softly as she felt her unborn pups kick. Henry managed to snatch a fish out of the water and bit into it. He tossed it onto the sand to drain its blood. Maria yawned as she laid down, trying to warm up. Her pups kicked at her as well. "I know, we'll eat soon." she muttered, "Hold your unborn horses." Alessa timidly looked around as she started to relax.

The duo pressed forth, and with a quick assessment of her Captains senses, Amorette picked up on what had got him in such a trance. "Smell's... Islandy-er, ah. Do you think it's safe?"

"Hush, and keep down, you'll give us away." She was silenced by Vojak but did as told. The tall male slowed to a stop peering through the brush to observe the light-colored canines. Two of them were ungodly fat. They must be residents. Fish hunters.. Wonder what else they're capable of. Vojak gathered his thoughts and hunkered into the greener, Amorette right by his side.

[Boomer]

Alessa twitched her nose, picking up two strange scents. "Something's wrong..." she whispered. "With what?" asked Maria. "There's strange scents..." said Alessa quietly. Mary flicked her tail and looked around. "I don't see anything out of place..." she murmured, "Are you sure?" "Yes I'm sure." winced Alessa, "We need to hide or something!" Henry sighed as her shouting scared away a fish he was about to kill. "Aw man..." he frowned. "Quit being so paranoid." grumbled Maria, "You're making Henry miss our breakfast!" Henry took the fish and split it up into three parts. He let the females eat first. The twins ate rather quickly, while Alessa stared at the woods behind them.

The two exchanged glaces before returning to let their gaze settle upon the group. They were strange in deed. How they acted and spoke... Everything was off, different to say the least. I don't like it Vojak thought to himself, settling carefully.

It appeared they would be watching the group for a while, so Amorette did the same. "Sir." She whispered, but silenced herself with Vojaks rapid ear flick. He understood her concerns and what she wanted to say. In the midst of waiting, Vojak would seek to lock eyes with the paranoid female, from his cover.

[Boomer]

"Go lay back down, you're just tired from that nightmare." muttered Maria, finishing up the fish. Alessa shook her head as she scanned the brush. She nervously flicked her tail and was tempted to use her power, but it might attract them even more. Henry grinned as he caught another fish and killed it. Maria took Alessa's share and Mary growled at her. "What? The kid's not eating..." muttered Maria. Mary shut her eyes and a light pink aura wafted around Alessa; this aura made the pup a bit more placid.

Vojak rose at the new sight. It caused a mixture of feelings to flow through him at once. Confusion, fear and anger. The sight had equally frightened Amorette, though she took the opposite reaction route and pushed herself closer to the ground. "Get up." The male ordered and pressed through the brush, his A.B.S right behind him.

"State your names." Vojak barked, his deep voice echoing shortly. "What was that?" Flinging his head towards Alessa, referring to her pink vibrancy. Amorette backed up her Captain by barring her fangs, to give and extra fear-factor.

[Boomer]

Alessa flattened her ears and formed a protective orb around herself and Mary. "Hey! You forgot me!" barked Maria, pawing at it. Henry looked at the strangers and bared his teeth. "We should be asking for your names." he growled, "This is our territory!" "Those aren't dogs..." whispered Mary, lowering her ears some. The aura went away as Mary felt fear and anxiety. Alessa kept the orb up as her golden eyes stared intently at the wolves. Henry flicked his tail some; he didn't want them to attack the females. "The name's Henry." he said, trying not to sound frightened, "That's Mary and Maria, and the pup is Alessa." Mary also feared the safety of their unborn pups. "I-it's a healing aura..." she whispered, "It... it has a calming effect. Who are you and why are you here?"

Amorette's attack stance receded with Vojaks. Both listened quietly, but just as defensively. "Aye. What's this aura ye be talking about?" Stepping closer the Maned wolf positioned himself in the most upright position possible to look down, eyeing Henry prior to his gaze wandering to the cluster of females. "Why are you like this? Did ye' fallin to some magical stew?" Haha.. good one. Vojak inwardly laughed taking a long walk around Henry to get a better look at the females. "What's this?" He prodded at the orb in which protected them. "Take it down!" He snarled, dropping his cranium to bare his teeth with their eye level.

Amorette decided to address Henry, since obviously her Captain wasn't. "We'r travelers. Ev'r hear o' pirates?" She grinned. "The sea's we own, and every island we find!" To emphasize the seriousness of this claim, Amorette took an aggressive step towards Henry, snapping at the air in front of him. "How did you end up here?"

[Boomer]

Alessa flinched as the male snapped down at the orb. It disappeared, as she was too nervous to disobey him. Mary coiled back a little and bared her teeth. "What are you talking about?" scowled Henry, glaring at the female, "We live here! This is our home. We live simple lives and that's it." Maria growled at the male and stood up. "Would it kill you to say please?" she scowled, "Besides, we all were born here. We're not pirates and we don't sail the ocean and whatnot. If you don't mind, we're trying to get something to eat. It's not easy eating for four, y'know."

"Would it kill you to shut your maw?" His lips curled back in a malevolent smile, he paced back to take stand next to his assistant. "Ahaha, I'm just joking. You all are a funny bunch for sure. How do you survive on this island? Have you ever thought of eating the creatures on it? Rather than around it." Vojak started to babble, gazing at the cloudy sky, his optics sparkled with interest. The menacing persona fading.

"Wha else ca' ye four do?" Amorette decided to ask. It wasn't her first time encountering... unique's. "Ye abilities 're quite tame to what else is out there." Her sight settled back on Alessa. "You got some keen senses. What was that thing yeh did earlier?" The orb in which she had created was mesmerizing, but its functions remained unknown to the Himalayan.
