"But I love the dark, Flight! We can talk for longer, you have me to protect you, remember?" She smiled and waggled her talons.

Moondapple walks back into camp as she looks around, spotting her leader, and approaches him, her eyes narrowed and sitting down. “What’s going on?” She asks before she speaks. “I’ve heard rumours that cats and other creatures have been disappearing.

Tarris sighed in response to her question. "Yes, it's true. Cats, other creatures...they've been going missing for an unknown reason. I don't know why or how, but we have cats on it and it's not a cause for alarm." He added the last part quickly- he didn't want the warriors to start panicking. "I'll probably have a clan meeting soon to discuss the issue." He hoped that he would calm down the clan- these disappearances would probably cause tension and maybe even outright panic in the clan.

leader, Tarris. Normally cats would be downright panicking right now.” She says, before her eyes turn to the rest of the clan. “I just hope the other clans... groups... tribes... whatever are on this as well.”

Tarris nodded, worried but keeping himself calm. "Yes, and I hope to keep it that way." he said. "And I believe the others should also be working on this, it's an issue for all of us. The Clan is not alone." Standing up, he looked into the warrior's eyes. "Moondapple, I have something to ask of you. Would you help keep the other cats calm? If anything comes up, tell them what you told me or call me. With my second and trusted dragon out, I don't have many creatures left."

Moondapple nods. “I have been trying to keep the calm within the clan for a couple of days now. I’m sure I can keep doing it.” She says, before her eyes turn to the rest of the clan. “I’m just worried about the future of SandClan. With cats disappearing, we have less warriors. There are no kits at the moment and honestly, there are only very few of us. The ones I can list off is you, me, Cosimo, Aria, Drak’Mir, and Shadow. That’s it. We honestly need more help then most of the groups.”

Midnight leaped in fear at the sight of the cat. "HOLY MOONLICKERS!" She snarled and brought out her talons, the moon had just come out. "Ok. What in heck." She ent on all fours, and inspected the corpse. The same stomach wound, as if something had torn its way out of it... "Ok, this is DEFINITELY a Slaad attack. Red Slaadi everywhere! Blue and green too... maybe even a Gray Slaad!" She paused again, taking in a new possiblility. "If there are Grey Slaadi... then there could be a..." She put her talons to her snout. "A Death Slaad." She acknowledged the group. "Green slaadi are unusually intelligent slaad shapechangers and spellcasters.
Green slaadi appear as the result of an infection of a humanoid spellcaster by a red slaad egg or a blue slaad's hook desease. If the infected humanoid could cast sufficiently powerful spells, instead of a red or blue slaad, a green slaad appeared.
Beside their spellcasting abilities, green slaadi were also shapeshifters and could assume the form of other creatures. They usually chose to assume the form of their former hosts.
After some time, a green slaad could learn how to magically transform permanently into the stronger gray slaad. Learning this process could take decades.

Gray slaadi were the result of a green slaad having learned a magical procedure to transform permanently into a stronger form, while retaining all their memories from their previous forms. They could wield weapons and imbue them with their own magic.
Grey slaadi were servants of the death slaadi and often carried out their errands in the Prime Material Plane, often disguised as humanoids. If a gray slaad devoured the corpse of a death slaad it would become a death slaad itself.

Death slaadi emerged as the result of a gray slaad having devoured the corpse of a dead death slaad.
The death slaadi were infused with dark chaos energy, which made them sadistic and cruel creatures. They commanded armies of lesser red and blue slaadi to invade other relams and used the survivors as hosts to spawn new slaadi."

Once again, fear paralyzed Midnight. All of the signs were there. How could they be so Ignorant?
