Bane had to think for a few moments, drawing up what had happened wasn't exactly something the healer liked to do. When lions died young often it seemed healers blamed themselves, even when there was nothing to be done. "They were... They were good." It seemed like a simple statement, something that someone would safe offhand when there was nothing else but there wasn't much else he could say. "They were brave, every single day. I don't think everyone would be here if they weren't part of this pride when they were."

"Not surprising in the least," Natalia laid down, letting her legs rest after being out running with James. Geren would come out when he was ready now that she was there and she'd let him follow her around camp until she needed to go out for one reason or another. "At least we know he won't sneak out at night." Something she had done when she was a cub rather often. Bane hated that she and James did that, but they were bored. "How have you been?"

The white lioness nodded as she glanced at the other, a lioness she could probably call her friend if allowed to by her. Shaking her head, she yawned a bit, then stretched out her legs once more. "Well, I kind pf wish these cubs would come already..." she said, then chuckled a little bit. "I know I'm going to love them, but I kind of miss my work too."

The black cub mewed to herself a little bit, tilting her head as she looked at Bane. She huffed as she waited for his answer, flicking her tail back and forth. She nodded as she looked at him, then sighed again. "Did they...have names? I mean...I know they had names...Um...Am I brave, like they were?" she tried again, head tilted to the side a bit as she looked up at him from this angle.

The lion hummed as he glanced about himself, tilting his head to the side as he did. He yawned as he stretched, arching his back, then pawed at the ground. Standing up straight, he shook himself off then looked around. He pawed at the dirt, then purred a bit as he felt the sun on his back. He yawned, but shook his head and forced himself to stay awake.
