" Jellies are so odd, but beautiful. All in the same instant." she'd looked off at the shore line, imaging what it might look like to see their gentle glows bobbing throughout the water. She smiled as small fish poked from out of their hiding places, like they were playing hide and seek with the others.

She let them sit in silence for a while, just enjoying the view with no interruption. She finally spoke, "I'm glad I met you, Wylie.". She wasn't sure what propelled her to say it, but she knew it had to be said. She looked up at the sky, she was actually rather excited, hoping that she'd see the moon jellies.

He nodded in agreement. There was a form of jellyfish that could live forever, it was astonishing, surreal even? How could something so small and considerably insignificant put its self back together so easily? Yet tigersharks and other intelligent creatures only had a set time to live and then die. His chewed up tail swished the sand lightly as they sat and enjoyed the cool breeze from off the water's surface.

The sea was so mysterious, oddly unexplored. Why? There was so much to see and so much to learn bout, yet they knew so little. Lilly's remark caught him off guard. He caught his head sinking into his haunches. Nobody was ever very "glad" to meet him, he was usually the unpleasant surprise in someone's day.

He brought the sleeves of his hoodie over his wrists and laid back on a flat rock on the beach. From this angle her silhouette was iluminated by the sun, it appeared she had a golden outline around her body.

"Me too," He told her quietly, looking dreamily up at the sky. He was 19 years old, homeless, and particularly difficult, but somehow someone still really enjoyed the idea of him. It put him at ease knowing that for once he wasn't just an utter disturbance in someone's life. "Now I have someone new to drive me crazy- other than myself," he joked, papping her shoulder playfully. She didn't drive him crazy, he was already pretty insane on his own. But she was almost a seditive for his mind.

She chuckled, glancing over at him " I gotta be someones parasite.". She Looked over at the sea again. It looked so much more beautiful at this spot. She thought about all the tiger sharks playing in it, all the others looking at it, but not seeing it like this. It was crazy to her. She leaned back, staying hunched on her forearms.

It was such a beautiful day. Not too hot, not to bright. It was just right. She was so grateful to get to spend it with him. She got up wandering off to the vegetation. She picked a flower from a bush, setting it with her other findings. When she'd return home, she'd sketch the shells and preserve the flower to remember this day. Along with the seed and starfish.

She looked over her shoulder at him. She smiled at the fact that he looked rather pretty sitting under the sun. She sat over by the tide pools. She zoned out, staring down at the pool quietly. The end of her tail tapping gently as she sat in thought.
