long after a nuclear war, humans were gone. animals and
mythical creatures of all lore moved out of hiding. many
supposedly extinct animals did, as well, along with anim
als humans cloned.
one night, the moon glowed purple. all animals were asl
eep, and its light shone upon them all. when they awoke,
each wore a small bottle or container around their neck.
it contained a small, fluttering creature made of a gems
tone. and with that butterfly-like creature, each animal
gained a single power. from plant manipulation to smok
ebreath, they all had one.
save for one large black bear named kodiak. he wore two
jars from the start, and had acid spit and telekinesis. he
soon discovered that powers could be stripped away by si
mply opening the small containers. he collected the little
creatures in a giant terrarium, gaining each power he cou
ld. the ones without the "flutters", as they were called, w
ere reduced to kodiak's mindless slaves.
everyone must band together to fight kodiak's reign. but
will they succeed?

ＬＯＣＡＴＩＯＮ

The world has been restored to normal many, many years after the humans
destroyed themselves. The Amazon is all green, Japan has returned to its
natural state, and so on.
This roleplay takes place in North America, however non-native animals
have moved to there. There are animal-built structures such as houses
and bakeries, but the animals are generally in the medieval times inno-
vation-wise.

Personality: kodiak is a clever bear, but often relies on his strength rather than his smarts. but don't let that fool you. he learned from his brother's mistakes, claiming the whole continent of North America was his to rule once he built his terrarium of powers. kodiak is very independent, wanting no partner in his rule. only his flutterless animals and a second-in-command. his sense of humor is warped, and he tends to be sarcastic.
History: born in a litter of two, kodiak wasn't the runt (even if neither were runts). his brother, juneau, died in a territory fight with another bear, as they all lived far from civilization in the "simpler way." kodiak's mother protected her remaining cub fiercer, before leaving him when he was of age. kodiak was welcomed into a small nearby town. the rest is explained in the roleplay summary. he somehow only wears two jars, yet has all the powers of the stolen flutters.

Personality: auror is a fierce wolf, and skilled at his job as explorer. he can be seen as stoic and/or a wolf who doesn't show his emotions, as he mostly keeps them bottled up to prevent them from interfering with his powers. he's stubborn and mature, but also has a curious side, which he doesn't let out for the above reasons. auror occasionally feels the need to let out his emotions, and goes out alone to maybe tear up a tree. but, even with his almost emotionless manner, he rarely ever has a monotone voice, even though it might not express emotion. because of his bottled up emotions, he can also be seen as an occasionally mean wolf, as he sometimes just snaps.

He's sometimes one to smuggle anything from information to illegal stolen merchandise. Mostly when he comes out in the open, it's to scam you with magic tricks. He really does have a sense of humor, but it's reserved for only his closest friends.
History: If you lived in the fox den he grew up in, you'd know why Chance became the way he did. He was physically abused by his parents and older siblings, and his father left soon after he turned six months old (human age). Waiting a few months after that, Chance ran away himself and became a con artist that scammed others constantly.

He loses all control in this hour in that form. During any other time, he has somewhat control, although not complete.
Personality: Keyyin is very withdrawn, and he wallows in self-pity mentally, although when others are around he pretends to act modest in moderation. He is very worn down by stress.
History: Instead of a real power, he was somewhat cursed with his lock.
Other: He collects keys, hoping each one will be able to unlock his curse, but to no avail. He has depression.

personality: osiris is pretty chill with basically everything, not bothering to give a damn about anyone or anything. he has a rather dry and sometimes dark sense of humor, but always means well. he prefers to be alone as a librarian, but the few that he calls his friends he treats with respect, and he does his best to accommodate them. osiris often talks in a rather monotone voice, if saying anything at all. more often than not, he's seen as impulsive, a very 'leap before you look' type of animal. he likes to take on any challenge given to him, but mostly prefers just chillin' on his own.
