"I'll be careful." she murmured, getting up and walking away from the water. She flicked her tail some. "You sound like my mom." she mumbled. The pup waited for her friend before moving on.
She felt Newt as he climbed back onto her saddle. She walked on more through the woods. She liked hanging around Newt, she thought she was, bounding.

He watched her silently, making sure she wasn't going to slip. He felt relief escape out from his armor seeing she hasn't slipped. Next was him. He didn't have contraction on his paws, not enough so say the least. Before he began walking up the slight slope, he tested it. He pressed a paw down and watched it as it sank into the snow. That's good. He did the same thing with his other paw. He did the same with his left hind leg, putting it onto the small slope but lost its footing. He felt part of his weight drag him down. This wasn't difficult before! The military really should of gave me more contraction! He did it again, this time he leaped. He felt his weight crash into the ground of the slope and then made a trail in the snow as he skidded towards the lake. No! He dug his claws into the snow tightly, but his weight made it impossible. He looked under him, water touched his belly and legs. A growl escaped his maw, a growl of annoyance, and irritation. He preyed he wouldn't malfunction, he preyed he wouldn't be affected by it. He crept from the water with a frown on his face. "Not good." He looked to his left finding there was an easier way to get up. He raked his claws at the ground as stupidity and embarrassment overwhelmed him.

When he finished cleaning the cage, he took the bowls and headed into the kitchen to clean them out and put them to the side to dry on a towel. He returned to grab the bed and bring it to the washer and dryer and put it into the washer for cleaning. He set up the washer then pressed start. That was when the cage was nearly set up for the next animal. He grabbed a clean bed and set it inside.
"Blair!" yapped Cybil, looking back at him. She scampered after him and tried her hardest to help him, but she clearly couldn't do anything. The pup watched him come out of the water. "Are you okay?" she asked, "You're not gonna die, are you? Where's your human?"

Once he reached where the pup was, he was surprised by the pups concern in him, especially when she attempted to help him. "I'm fine, I wont die." He knew for sure he wouldn't die from water, but he knew he would have side effects. I don't think I will malfunction, I will just glitch here and there, right? "Get away from the lake though, I'm not sure if I would be able to rescue you if you fall in."

"I can swim, don't worry." she said, "Are you hurt?" She walked around him to look for damage. "Your human isn't gonna be mad, right? It was just an accident and not my fault this time." she added.

"I'm not hurt, pup. Thank you for being concern about me though." His black dull eyes looked at the pup. Surely the water wouldn't rust his build, the military made sure of it. He's only concerned about malfunctioning or glitching out. If anything, let it be glitches. "I'm not concern about Douglas, I'm more concern on what the military will do when they find out they have to rid any glitches, if any."
"Well, if you can't fight, I'll fight for ya!" she yapped, bouncing around, "I can take 'em!" She jumped back and forth and snapped her teeth at the air. "See?" she said, "You don't gotta worry with Cybil protecting ya!"

He smiled, admiring the pups bravery. "Thanks, but I'm sure they are holding a grudge on you for being, disrespectful." He looked to the direction of the shelter. The snow continued falling, but he now didn't care to look at them, not when he's in danger of glitching. "We should get back to the shelter, I'm sure your freezing."

"Oh, yeah... that." she mumbled, "But still, I'll always be on your side!" She grinned at him, then sneezed. "It is kinda cold..." she admitted, "Wanna race back?"

"Alright, a race it is!" He was quite fast, faster then a normal lion despite his weight due to his armor. He knew since the pup had super speed, he would be outrun, but it was worth a try. "Ready, set, go!" He bolted towards the shelter, his metal claws dug at the snow at each stride.
