Winona
Winona put her head on Mara's shoulder. Mara tensed ever so slightly, but relaxed.
"Tired, huh?" She asked. Winona nodded, closing her eyes.
"Then rest, Winona. Its been a long day." Mara replied. With that, She fell asleep.
Kiwi
Kiwi remembered pain like this. She remembered a nest. She remembered her mother. Her mother looked at her so fondly.
"Kiki, my dear. You are the best swimmer. I am so proud," her sweet voice said. Kiwi believed every word. Kiwi remembered when she found out she could turn into flowers. She was so amazed with herself. She practiced turning into her motheres favorite flower: The tulip. Kiwi remembered the day she went to show her mother. Her mother was not proud, but disgusted.
"Kiki, You monster! Leave! Leave now!" Her mother shouted. That day she was kicked out of her nest, rejected by her mother. She fell off a hill, breaking both of her wings. She remembered emotional and physical pain flooding her senses. She remembered the harsh rain. Then the rain stopped. She looked up, and there was Tsunami.
"Are you okay? whats your name?" She stayed silent.
"Kiwi" She replied quietly. She remembers Tsunami taking her in. Kiwi remembered leaving her old name of "Kiki" behind. She knew this pain, and accepted it.
