Cynric limped on over to his dragoness, wincing at every step he took. He looked Syrenn in the eyes, a reassuring smile on his face. "Don't you worry. We'll find us something to get you better again." He murmured in a calming tone. This was one of the first battles in a long time where neither battler had won. They would both be carrying scars.

Syrenn, although exhausted, refused to let her guard down. She wouldn't be forgiving Talos or Jaxom any time soon, and when he apologised, it only served to annoy her even more. A snarl escaped her mouth, and she brushed off what Cynric said to her. For the first time in forever, Cynric couldn't keep her calm. Her eyes remained locked onto Jaxom, watching how he attempted to keep his dragon awake. She frowned a little, and winced. A dull ache began to spread throughout her mind at how much strain she had put on it via her psychic abilities.

The slender dragoness floated in the air, her fluffy white tail brushing over the grass. She was currently picking blueberries, ready to roast and eat them. She didn't know why, but they were her favourite kind of berry.

Farin

Farin sighed as she sat down on the cliff overhang were her make due camp was now residing. Farin turned her head to look at the large dragon behind her and slightly smiled. Farin was rescued by Kyoko from a burning house at the age of 5. Kyoko was her older brother of sorts as she grew up with him and no parents at all. Both Farin and Kyoko haven't been much for socialization as Farin was not the friendliest of person. Though neither was Kyoko, probably why they got along so well.

Oromis looked around the small hut again, then looked at Glaedr. "shall we go and get some fresh air?" he asked. Glaedr grumbled I'm agreement and they both left the clinic. Going out with Glaedr was quite hard, since the huge golden dragon was missing his left hind leg and was reduced to limping on the ground, but it was refreshing as well. Oromis walked slowly, and looked around the camp with bright eyes. He might be old but not too tired to enjoy it. In an unspoken agreement they both walked to a side of the village that wasn't very crowded. Then Oromis saw something in the distance. He frowned, then started walking faster. It looked like two dragons and their riders, and they all looked injured. Oromis was almost running when he and Glaedr arrived. "what happened here?" he asked, his voice full of worry and questions. He could see most needed immediate treatment.

Jaxom heard Oromis and Glaedr and stood up, "There was a fight, and both dragons are very hurt. Help the female first, help Talos last, and help the man, he has a broken rib, and he is really bad off." He said as he then knelt by Talos's head and he ended lying with him, cradling his head. He stroked his cheek as Talos breathing was shallow, and he was whining in pain with each breath. He hugged his neck gently, "Don't sleep, stay. Stay Talos, stay with me." He begged quietly to him.

Talos heard the arrival of Glaedr and Oromis and he lifted his head slightly and looked at them before putting it back down. He felt Jaxom cradle his head and pleading for him to stay awake. He fought it, he fought for Jaxom, and not himself. He knew Jaxom would be broken if he had left him, and he looked at Jaxom and snorted into his palm, comforting him.

Oromis frowned. "are you sure?" he asked, seeing Talos was pretty bad off. Then he looked to Glaedr. "could you please?..." the huge golden dragon nodded, then walked closer to the dragons. He used his phsichic powers to go in their head. He comforted them and helped take the pain away, but also made sure they didn't fall asleep, which, in their current condition, could prove lethal.
(just wanted to check, which one is worse off? And I know the injuries of one if the dragons, (which of course I don't know which one) but what does the other dragon have?)

The tall male watched as the others arrived, almost marvelling at the new dragons scales. He returned his gaze to Syrenn, the pain in his side reduced to a dull ache.

Hearing what Jaxom had to say, she growled and shook her head. Syrenn refused to go down so easily. The world wasn't spinning anymore, and so she very painfully lifted herself from the ground. That's when she felt and invading force in her mind. She knew it was coming from the new dragon, and she growled, using her own psychic abilities to push the other's out. She used her wounded tail to stabilise herself, growling a warning. "Attempt that again and I'll have no choice but to do something even worse!" Her threat was empty, however.

"Talos has a dislocated wing, or in his case, shoulder. He also has pretty bad bites marks from biting himself to keep him from the dragoness's powers of breaking his mind. He has various scratches on him, some worse than others." He said quickly and hurriedly. He turned back to Talos, who quietly observed them all with a slightly opened eyelid.

Talos saw Glaedr and he looked at him and felt another presence in his head and he whined in fright as he tried to fight it off and realizes it wasn't a cruel or hurting force and reluctantly lowered his shoddy walls. He felt the ancient dragon's peaceful and kind mind reassuring him and helping to ease some of the pain. Thank you, help them first. He thought, hoping the elder would hear it. He looked at them all and silently watched, his pain slowing and his wounds scabbing over. He didn't dare move too much, for fear of reopening the nasty bites in his shoulder, and the scabs were weak and barely finished.

Glaedr was surprised when the dragoness pushed him back. He looked at her. "I am going to take the pain away, not hurt you." he told her I'm his deep voice. "there was enough fighting already." he added. Meanwhile Oromis was just next to the dragoness. He stopped. "may I heal you?" he asked, looking directly at her.

"I don't need your help. I'm perfectly fine on my own." She snapped, chalking up the conclusion that she didn't even need Cynric. Rotating, her head, she wrapped her jaws around the hilt of the dagger, yanking it out. A low growl sounded in her throat as she threw it aside. She took some wobbly steps away from the others, before spreading her wings. She was going to attempt to fly away.

He watched as the dragoness snapped at the ones attempting to help. 'Her stubbornness is going to get her killed..' He thought to himself. He watched the glint in her eye, the very same as when he found her for the first time.

Oromis had hoped he didn't need to do this. He ducked under the dragoness's wing and touched her flank, letting his healing power flow through his fingertips as fast as he could, since the dragoness would probably push him off very soon.
