Ice cleared his throat. "Umm... Paladin? A-are you ok-okay?" He was a bit alarmed as the wolf was standing there, with his head against the wall. Ice then turned to Senex. "Do you know if you're going to stay here after the storm?" He asked quietly. " I-I'd really l-like to stay, b-but I'd rather not b-be alone..." he murmured sheepishly.

He walched her go and when he turned back to the mist he was disappointed to see Nightshade was gone as well. Rook had never gotten to know the other alpha very well and to say the least Nix's devotion to him was kind of scary. The alpha wondered what it would be like to have someone you value over life itself and whom returned the favor. He stared at the mist, what did it all mean? Even if it was a trick the way the ghost had acted was to sincere and our of character for the mist's usual illusions. Even now, looking deeper he could see what looked to be ghostly forms moving in the dence fog.

He was lying down, feeling ackward as the tiny newborns crawled over him, sharing I the large wolve's warmth.

"I am Alright. I just hope the others are as well.I appreciate your concern." He nodded at Icarus, In his head he wondered why the wolf stuttered so much. He hoped he didnt intimidate him. He Then turned to Senex, Silently awaiting his answer.

Nix burst into the den, smiling as she watched Lux vlimb onto Rowan's back. The mother grabbed the two pups and curled around them to allow them to eat. Her breaths were heaving, and the white female was mentally and physcically exhausted, but she stayed awake, listening to the howls of other dead wolves calling to their loved ones.

Senex looked to Ice. "I know not. Truley, I might. As of right now, I would join simply gor food, for a lame leg makes it hard to hunt. " he said, licking the leg once more before a sharp howl rose above the others he heard. A familiar scolding howl. An equally great growl escaped him as he backed up a little more, seeking escape from her voice.

He was immensely relieved when the former dawn alpha came in and took the puppys. "Good your back." He could smell Rook on her but other then that his brother was nowere to be seen. "Where's Rook he didn't return with you?" He asked, his voice rising with worry before a howl broke out from his alphas den and he ran out to were the loners were, he could see the old male cowering in the corner. "What's going on?" He growled.

Paladin nodded toward Senex's answer toward joining the pack. After all, He was wounded and older then most. He didnt deny, however, that he was quite strong, That all wolves were strong. Living in an unforgiving land with little hunt, those who survive conditions like these had Much strength. Suddenly he stood up as Senex howled. To Paladin it was awfully random, Due to him not knowing that one of the howls from the mist had gotten to him. He stood up with a worried expression.

"Elder? is something the matter?" he tilted his head in question. He could definitely notice that something was off. He looked back as Rowan entered the den. He shrugged his shoulders in answer to the Beta. "I do not know. He howled out In Randomness." He looked back at Senex for an answer.

Nix shook her head to the Rook question but began grooming the pups. she needed to calm down, and being with the pups would help.

Senex wasn't listening to the others anymore. He was growling in a low undertone, and was now standing. He shook his head, trying to get the sound of the howls from his head. But they kept coming, always kept coming. Why couldn't he be deaf. His breathing was coming heavily, and muscles bunched under his pelt, parting the fur somewhat to reveal pale scars upon his skin. His body shook with both terror and anger as the elder male shook his head, growling in growing distress. His body hit the wall, and the redish furred male pressed his body into the wall to try to steady himself. easy to say, It failed.

His hackles raised and he growled at the old wolf, fearful that he might have been suffering from some kind of sickness. Last summer the pack had lost one of its Betas when it went crazy after being bitten by a crazed raccoon. "What's wrong with you?" He growled at the old wolf, then moved over to Paladin, "How long has he been acting like this?" He asked, keeping his eyes on the old wolf.

Ryan spies on the camp from the trees .He found it difficult in some ways .He had been learning how to do it for ages but it was help full for spying. He stalked around the branch a bit before hoping to a new one.

Finally, a break came in the howling where none of the dead wolves made any sound, and the wind was the only other audible thing besides the living wolves. Senex slowly calmed, breathing deeply. His growling only stopped once he was sure the howling was gone, and the old male bowed his head to watch the ground. he was suddenly very tired. "It's ok, I am fine." He told the beta as he lay back down. The howling from outside started up again, but this time a single pitch was missing. She wouldn't bother him anymore. He fully relaxed as that happened, or to be specific, didn't happen. The elderly male groomed down the fur to cover the scars, which seemed to cover his muscular body. Senex suddenly seemed much older than he really was, and it showed on his face.
