The small rabbit darted, frenzied straight out of the elevator., sprinting to the left for her life, in search of anything. She, in her search, had found soft dirt around half a mile away, and burrowed into the ground frantically. She made herself a decent sized cavern, and huddled in it, panting and shaking. She covered up the entrance with more of the ground, and layed down in the nest, on the verge of tears.

As soon as the elevator reached its top, He took a wary step out. It smelt musky, and he sniffed the backpack. He picked it up and set out.

She bolted out, grabbing the backpack and heading in a random direction. She slowed down and walked through the maze, pondering what would happen.

Rrvenda stepped away from the elevator and tuned this way and there, scenting if anyone was nearby. No-one she could smell, or hear. It was probably a good thing. The white wolf looked back at the elevator once more then stepped into the maze of blank metal walls and concrete floors.

The female bolted as soon as the doors opened, the last thing she wanted was for something else to get out of the elevator aswell. Her long ears twitched as she ran, checking for any nearby sounds. The adrenaline rush was enough to make her heart beat faster and for her to create a few small sparks of electricity as she ran. He paws scuffing the ground as she skidded to the side every now and then making a sharp turn.

The brute was bashed around in the elevator, it seemed unstable in a way and he frowned as he looked around him before it came to a stop and the doors opened with a slight shudder. The brute wasn't going to stay in that elevator for long and he stepped out, walking slightly before looking about him and immediately started running, he was not going to wait near that elevator any long than he needed to. His eyes were focused on the path in front of him and as he ran he could hear the slight clinking of his chain as he did so, every now and then checking around him to make sure he wasn't being followed.

Sam jumped with a start as she opened her eyes. Looking around she silently wished she could leave the cramped place. She was scared and she didn't want to fight to the death. "Everyone can be so annoying." She watched as light started to disappear and with it darkness took a hold of the small space. Swallowing she felt the elevator speed up and she looked upwards. She fell to the floor as the elevator suddenly stopped and the doors quickly opened. She blinked as her blue-gray eyes adjusted to the change of lighting. Rising from her spot she searched the area quickly looking for a way to escape. Spotting the woods just beyond the large lake she raced towards its comforting shadows.

But wasn't there bushes in the Maze Runner? In the middle? Unless there is no middle)

There is no middle,and there are no plants. Nothing. Tis is all you get:
Iron walls
concrete floor
wooden huts with beds and food and water in them
food and water depots scattered around the maze.
and that's it. No plants. No bushes. Nothing.

Hayden sniffed the air. She was smart not to activate her senses at the time because when trying to pick of vibration she would just pick up vibrations because she knew she was close to everyone. All types of scents flooded the air and all Hayden's priority was finding a hut. She was first gonna spy by squeezing into cracks and watching from above.
