marlow slows his pace when he realizes that he's being followed -- apparently jasper had woken up. turning around to face the creature, he smiles gently at her before formulating a response. "we have class silly," he says, "the first day; have you forgotten?" although, now that he put thought into it, marlow realized he wasn't quite sure where he was supposed to be going for his first class.

Skip looked up at the ceiling as she woke up, her watch's small gears (put there only for show) turning as it made a chiming noise. She only half believed that she was inside a building, the CS academy, and not inside the hut she made right on the outskirts of a town.

She'd woken up early, so she decided to get ready for class earlier, with materials in neat a pile on a small table.
after a few moments of wandering outside of the room silently, she went to class.
