Caltor slipped through couples dancing, muttering an apology. The plush wolf would surely be gone by now... He looked around, but couldn't spot the child at first. But then, looking a little closer, he noticed a little boy playing with two stuffed animals in the corner, right behind the main gates. He looked around, making sure no one saw him, and then casually walked towards the boy. He leant down behind him and said, "Where did you get that?" He waitedfor a reply.

Icelenia stated ," Yes, I am , thank you. " She had a feeling that someone was going to do something.

Rajah nods and went back inside. He immediately got asked to dance. Rajah shrugged and did go out to dance floor.

Sarafina still watched the wolf closely. She pretended that she wasn't.

Tai Shan sighed and danced with someone. He wasn't exactly thrilled.

"Wondrous, would you like a dance, madame?" he said with an outstreched paw.

Sam jumped a bit at the sudden disruption of his fantasy, but looked back up at the phoenix. His red eyes glistened in awe as he stared at the stranger then back at his toy.
"Crystal!" He shouted suddenly with a hoof pointing at the creature.
He couldn't believe it, his brand-new toy was actually alive!
Crystal was real! He must've come here to play!
Sam dropped his snack and pulled the large ice-phoenix to the ground (Well, as best as a 9-year-old deer-rabbit could).
"I can't believe it! C'mon, let's eat! Where did you come from? Why are you so big?"

The messenger was bolting across the snowy plains, her formal clothes being dampened by the snow melting due to her body heat. Whenever she was in a rush or stressed, she often radiated more heat. It was strange, but then again, so was the fact that her body was fresh into adulthood and she already outlived many elders. Shoving the thought of her sunny home behind her, she sprang towards the ballroom. It was quite extravagant, to say the least, and that was just the outside. She felt bad for the regular citizens who didn't get to experience it, but she'd be with them if not for her friendship with Cloud. Even her most formal clothing felt rather silly compared to what the other, actually high-class citizens would be donning. Holding the invitation in her mouth so it didn't fall out of her pocket, she dashed to the castle gate. She panted as she slowed down, and the guard gave her a curious look as he checked her invitation and identification. "Welcome, Akari." He stepped aside to let her pass. The cat scampered in. First things first, she had to apologize to Cloud. It was his ball, after all. If she were lucky, maybe he'd ask her to dance? She'd never have the guts to ask him herself.

As she ran in, she got a few funny stares for her disheveled fur and slightly ruined clothes. She looked left and right for the territory leader, and finally she found him. The spirit wolf was interacting with a white-ish dragoness. She fast-walked over and bowed. "Cloud, sir, I am deeply sorry for being late to the ball!"

Caltor landed with a 'WHUMP' on the floor"Uh... Kid, my name's not 'Crystal'. Its Caltor. But who are you, and why do you haves a stuffed animal that looks like me?" He was getting a bit frustrated at the turn of events. The deer thingy was obviously too young to understand what he had been given. He sighed.
